Arrhythmias, irregularities in heart rhythm, are critical indicators of heart disease and can be effectively diagnosed using electrocardiograms (ECGs), a primary tool in cardiac care. This study proposes and evaluates three hybrid deep learning models: CNN-LSTM, CNN-GRU, and Bidirectional GRU with attention (BiGRU-Att) for the classification of ECG signals into five distinct arrhythmia categories. CNN-LSTM and CNN-GRU integrate convolutional layers for spatial feature extraction with recurrent layers for temporal pattern modeling, while the BiGRU-Att model incorporates an attention mechanism to enhance focus on critical features. The preprocessing method employs the synthetic minority oversampling technique (SMOTE) to address the class imbalance, ensuring robust model performance. Results demonstrate that BiGRU-Att outperforms other models, achieving an overall accuracy of 99.4%, sensitivity of 0.987, and the lowest false positive rate of 0.002. To facilitate practical application, a user-friendly cloud-based platform was developed, enabling doctors to upload ECG signals, visualize results, and classify arrhythmias. The platform incorporates a recommendation system powered by a custom-built database, offering personalized recommendations for each arrhythmia type. These findings highlight the potential of hybrid deep learning to enhance arrhythmia detection, ultimately improving diagnostic accuracy.

In order to satisfy the rapidly growing demand for data traffic from massive users, this study investigates a space-ground LEO satellite-assisted edge caching network framework and analyses the downlink transmission performance of this edge caching network. The aim is to enhance the quality of service provided by the edge caching network to users through the utilisation of LEO satellites. We use stochastic geometry to analyse the downlink performance. The spatial locations of the LEO satellites are modeled as Binomial Point Process (BPP) distribution deployed at a specific space altitude, and the locations of the terrestrial cloud servers (CSs) and mobile users (MUs) are modelled as independent Poisson Point Process (PPP), respectively. We establish the association strategy of typical MUs to LEO satellites (SATs) and CSs, based on which we derive the coverage probability analytical expression and average delay numerical solution for this network system. Finally, we verify the correctness of the numerical result through Monte Carlo simulation and study the network performance as a function of key constellation design parameters. We also analyse the impact of LEO SAT constellation parameters on the coverage capability and the average delay of MUs in this edge caching network. The simulation and analysis results provide constructive insights into the network design.
