This paper proposes a framework for real-time monitoring of the power consumption of distributed calculation on the nodes of the cluster. The framework allows to visualize and analyze the provider results based on the context information about the performed calculation. The first part of the framework is devoted to monitoring the power consumption during the execution of machine learning algorithms and the performance of NoSQL storage. The second part is dedicated to the testing of distributed data storage, called Scalable Distributed Two-Layered Data Structure (SD2DS). The results show that the framework can be used in the development of a management system that could schedule computations to take full advantage of renewable energy. This elaboration presents the synthesis of the Takagi-Sugeno type Fuzzy Logic controller realizing the programmable parameters of the state feedback controller together with the steady state current for the active magnetic levitation system. Closed-loop dynamics was calculated precisely with respect to the requested dynamics. Two cases were considered: fixed-and variable-closed-loop dynamics. The Fuzzy Logic controller was considered under four scenarios with linear, nonlinear, and constant in-range output. The study was supported by simulations and experimental investigations. Cloud-based, centralized control system architectures have been published in recent years, examining the applications, structure and validity of the idea of controlling a vehicle, or multiple vehicles directly from the cloud. The literature presents possible advantages and disadvantages of control as a Service (CaaS), as well as multiple viable applications, however no real-car real-world implementation exists to the best of our knowledge. In our experiments, we demonstrate a real-life and real-time vehicle control method that runs in the cloud and reacts adaptively to the vehicle's surroundings. In the presented tests, acquisition of the vehicle and environment state is performed from a collective perception-based digital twin that is also produced in our cloud-based Central System using data streams from our distributed sensor network. We conduct real-world physical vehicle tests, and establish that cloud-based centralized control is a viable solution, and an interesting research direction. We test our vehicle control in one mixed reality, and two real-world scenarios on the ZalaZONE proving ground in Hungary, Zalaegerszeg. Our experiments prove that cloud-based low-level vehicle control is feasible. © 2024 IEEE.

The wide use of power electronic converters means that in many low-voltage systems earth fault currents containing components from DC to AC of various frequencies have to be taken into account. Due to the tendency to increase the modulation frequency in converters, components of higher frequencies may be in the order of several tens of kilohertz. Therefore, it is very important to verify the behavior of devices for protection against electric shock in the presence of earth currents with frequencies other than the nominal frequency of the network, as well as for a DC component. The paper presents the results of tests of residual current devices (RCDs), with slowly rising earth/residual current at selected frequencies within the range 1 Hz - 50 kHz, and at pure DC. Tests have shown that RCDs may not respond to certain frequencies and pure DC, which carries a risk of electric shock. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem that the combination of self-play (SP) and deep reinforcement learning (DRL) only involves two-party games and the policy learning of each party is limited, a multi-party asymmetric self-play algorithm (MASP) is proposed. Firstly, by improving the ELO scoring system, the ELO scoring takes into account each party of the unmanned surface vehicle (USV) clusters, and the imbalance of the number of USV clusters, so that the frequency of exchanging strategies of all USV clusters in the confrontation process is equal. Secondly, it ensures that USV clusters have a balanced combat ability, and at the same time ensures that the combat ability of all parties is strong and weak and the gap is not too wide. In addition, the parameters are dynamically set to reduce the update frequency of the policy of the stronger party. The experimental results show that the MASP can make the USV clusters learn more effective policies, have a shorter game time, and obtain higher rewards and ELO scores in the simple 2v2 adversarial game scenario and the three-party game scenario of a warship escort mission. © 2024 ACM.

This paper details the integration of augmented reality (AR) in a new factory, focusing on enhancing maintenance efficiency and optimization. The innovative approach involves combining AR technology, an Android application, and Siemens PLCs (Programmable Logic controller), for efficient automation. The robustness of the PLC enables seamless integration within manufacturing environments, accommodating diverse programming paradigms. The software aspect features Human Machine Interface (HMI) configuration using Siemens' WinCC software, offering dynamic visualizations, alarm handling, and data logging. WinCC's scalability suits applications of varying sizes. The HMI architecture is designed for easy parameter display. The Android application, developed with Java and Python, leverages their respective strengths in Android app development and image processing. Beyond gaming origins, AR teleassistance enhances efficiency in various sectors, minimizing downtime and facilitating global knowledge transfer. The integration of Teleassistance promotes effective collaboration between human expertise and automated systems, crucial for optimal performance in modern industrial settings. Continuous development is suggested through the addition of more 3D mechanical drawings and real-Time stock information for parts in the application, aiming for future optimization and performance enhancement. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper we focus on the target capturing problem for a swarm of agents modelled as double integrators in any finite space *** agent knows the relative position of the target and has only an estimation of its velocity and *** that the estimation errors are bounded by some known values,it is possible to design a control law that ensures that agents enter a user-defined ellipsoidal ring around the moving *** know the relative position of the other members whose distance is smaller than a common detection ***,in the case of no uncertainty about target data and homogeneous agents,we show how the swarm can reach a static configuration around the moving *** simulations are reported to show the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

Optimal control has been investigated for Euler-Lagrange (EL) systems. However, the existing methods have not yet considered the input constraints due to dead zones and vulnerabilities caused by malicious attackers. In this paper, we propose a novel control algorithm to gain the bounded L2-gain tracking performance with deadzone disturbance rejection and to reduce not only the effects of sensor and actuator attacks but also the burden of communication load. Firstly, an event-triggered (ET) observer is studied to conjecture the unmeasurable states and compensate for the adverse attack effects. Secondly, ET augmented control is proposed to transform Euler-Lagrange dynamics into tracking error dynamics. Thirdly, an ET H∞ optimal control law is approximated via adaptive dynamic programming (ADP). Finally, the simulation of mobile nonholonomic robots illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

In this tutorial some basic linear algebra problems: basis change and projection, are discussed together with examples of their applications in signal and image processing. In typical linear algebra university courses perpendicular projections are only discussed. However, in image processing, for defining various color spaces, we need non-perpendicular projections.
