A Novel Framework for Gauging information Extracted from Smartphones Using Neutrosophic Logic

Smartphones contain a vast amount of information about their users, which can be used as evidence in criminal cases. However, the sheer volume of data can make it challenging for forensic investigators to identify and use the most relevant information. Neutrosophic logic is a generalization of fuzzy logic that allows for uncertainty and vagueness, making it a more potent tool for dealing with the ambiguity of real-world data. The proposed framework aims to identify and utilize the most relevant information for forensic investigators, making it easier to solve criminal cases using Neutrosophic logic. This novel approach provides a more powerful tool for dealing with the ambiguity of smartphone data, ultimately improving the accuracy and effectiveness of forensic investigations. Our research has utilized Neutrosophic logic to evaluate the degree of truth, falsity, or Indeterminacy of this information. Additionally, this study analyzes conversations between individuals using Excel’s fuzzy lookup add-in to determine the percentage of truth and false in each conversation. The results were compiled into a dataset and utilized a Neutrosophic Python code to evaluate the information. The results indicate the percentage of truth, false, and Indeterminacy in each conversation and which can be used to determine its admissibility as evidence and which not. © 2025, University of New Mexico. Metallised film capacitors(MFCs)are renowned for their unique self-healing(SH)properties,which bestow them with exceptional reliability and stability in the face of intense electric fields,high voltages,and pulse power ***,the exploration of SH characteristics concerning single-layer dielectric film remains insufficient for advancing MFC reliability *** establish the theoretical correlation of SH characteristics from the device to the film in the MFCs,this work developed a simulation model to analyse the SH dynamic behaviour in the *** effects of coupling capacitors,arc resistance and insulation resistance on the macroscopic characteristics(voltage drop and pulse current)are focused during the SH process in *** results indicate that SH is primarily associated with the voltage drop duration rather than the sampling ***,the SH process in MFC is characterised as an abrupt decrease in voltage to its minimum *** refinement enhances the SH energy dissipation model of *** quantified relationship between the macroscopic characteristics and microstructure evolution(polypropylene decomposition and aluminium electrode vaporisation)is established in MFCs under diverse SH energy *** SH energy and duration increase,the proportion of energy attributed to polypropylene decomposition increases,resulting in multi-layer ablation and adhesion within the metallised film and a pronounced deterioration in MFC electrical *** examination of macro-micro perspectives sheds new light on the intricate mechanisms governing the SH behaviour in MFCs,offering valuable insights for the advancement of their design,reliability evaluation,and performance optimisation in diverse electrical applications.

Algorithms based on deep learning, especially the attention mechanism, have been the preference for hyperspectral remote sensing image classification. Recently, a spectral similarity based spatial attention module (S3AM) was designed to solve the deficiency that the existing attention modules cannot take the center pixel into full account for the deduction of the spatial attention. However, two crucial processes, including the calculation and conversion of spectral similarity, of this module may be affected by its single policy, which is harmful to alleviate the spectral variability and the accurate spatial attention. In this article, an improved version called S3AM++ which integrates the differential strategy into the original attention module is proposed for hyperspectral image classification. The S3AM++ divides each neighborhood of the center pixel into the relevant pixel and the interfering pixel implicitly to make the individual optimization of the network for the two kinds of pixels possible. Benefit from this specific, the spectral variability can be relieved effectively for the similarity calculation and the relevant pixels and the interfering pixels can be preserved and restrained appropriately during the similarity conversion, respectively. Experimental results reveal that the spatial attention derived by the S3AM++ is more representative and the classification performance of the model adopting the new attention module is superior. © 2023 ACM.

In the world of cryptocurrencies, there is the possibility of participating in numerous processes in which some kind of reward is obtained, most often in the form of cryptocurrency. This paper investigates the possibilities of using laboratory computers at the faculty of electrical engineering, Computing and information Technologies in these processes when they are not used for teaching purposes. The hardware specifications of the computer were collected and an insight into the ways of cryptocurrency earnings mining and validation was provided. Mining is the most well-known earning process, and it was introduced with the Bitcoin cryptocurrency, and based on this cryptocurrency, this process is described in detail. Due to the hardware configuration of the computer, in this paper we focus on the profitability of CPU mining of cryptocurrencies that can be mined this way, namely Monero, Zephyr, Raptoreum, Skytere and Subi Network. This type of mining has been unprofitable for Bitcoin for years. Computing power does not have to be used only for the mining process. For example, Solana uses CPUs to validate transactions. This paper combines technical and economic analyses, taking into account computer specifications to assess the economic viability of cryptocurrency mining and validation on college computers. We highlight the importance of organization, maintenance, and economic factors in managing these processes, providing practical guidelines for optimal utilization of faculty resources for the purpose of cryptocurrency earnings. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

In order to forecast the run time of the jobs that were submitted, this research provides two linear regression prediction models that include continuous and categorical factors. A continuous predictor is built using the number of CPUs, average CPU speed, and memory size, whereas a categorical predictor is built using the user ID, group ID, and executable ID. According to the findings, the prediction rates for categorical and continuous predictors are 61% and 1%, respectively. sixty times better than the earlier models, which used continuous variables as a foundational model to determine task complexity and weight. The effectiveness of the categorical predictor in enhancing a job scheduling problem is then evaluated by combining it with three suggested job scheduling strategies. The suggested algorithms incorporated metrics - predicted run time, waiting time, and resource requirement - to select the smallest jobs. According to the results, Algorithm 3 performs better than earlier models in both performance metrics. The variation in total execution time and average waiting time is 1.14 to 1.76 and 4.5, respectively compared to previous models, Additionally, Algorithms 1 and 2 demonstrating superior performance in every scenario. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, a brief overview of converter topologies used in stationary battery energy storage systems is given. A simulation model of converter was developed in MATLAB Simulink. A simulation is conducted to provide a preliminary understanding of the converter's bidirectional nature. The results indicate that the state of charge (SOC) increases during battery charging and decreases during discharging. The topology of non-isolated two-stage bidirectional converter is presented for proposed real-world prototype, including the high-level electrical schematic and mechanical layout. An 18-kW prototype converter for stationary battery energy storage systems was developed and presented. The converter housing with all installed ancillary components for proper operation is also described. At the time of writing this paper, the actual converter is still in the development phase. © 2023 IEEE.

Adopting the CloudIoT-based healthcare paradigm provides various prospects for medical IT and considerably enhances healthcare services. However, compared to the advanced development of CloudIoT-based healthcare systems, their usage is relatively low among healthcare professionals in hospitals. Thus, a study on the healthcare professionals acceptance and adoption of CloudIoT-based healthcare is critical. This study explores factors influencing healthcare professionals adoption of CloudIoT-based healthcare solutions by extending the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of technology 2 model. Data was collected from 300 healthcare professionals in Jordan through an online questionnaire developed using the Google^® form application. The Bayesian Network and Structural Equation Modeling techniques were used to analyze and validate the proposed model. The results revealed that the healthcare professional’s behavioral intention is directly affected by seven factors: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, habit, trust, privacy, and security. The results also indicate that trust mediates the influence of privacy, facilitating conditions, and performance expectancy on behavioral intention. The research results will aid CloudIoT service providers, healthcare organizations, designers, and developers by offering comprehensive knowledge of the significant factors of CloudIoT-based healthcare adoption. A better understanding of these factors will help these stakeholder groups enhance their services and speed up the adoption of CloudIoT in the healthcare area. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

The Internet of Things (IoT) stands as a revolutionary leap in digital connectivity, envisioning a future network connecting billions of devices, seamlessly. Amidst the myriad benefits, there arises an intricate web of challenges, prominently centered around potential threats and data security implications. Recent cryptography techniques, such as DNA-based cryptography, 3D chaos-based cryptography, and optical cryptography, face challenges including large encryption times, high energy consumption, and suboptimal rather than optimal performance. Particularly, the burden of long encryption cycles strains the energy resources of typical low-power and compact IoT devices. These challenges render the devices vulnerable to unauthorized breaches, despite large storage capacities. The hallmark of the IoT ecosystem, characterized by its low-power compact devices, is the burgeoning volume of data they generate. This escalating data influx, while necessitating expansive storage, remains vulnerable to unauthorized access and breaches. Historically, encryption algorithms, with their multifaceted architectures, have been the bulwark against such intrusions. However, their inherently-complex nature, entailing multiple encryption cycles, strains the limited energy reserves of typical IoT devices. In response to this intricate dilemma, we present a hybrid lightweight encryption strategy. Our algorithm innovatively leverages both one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) chaotic key generators. Furthermore, it amalgamates a classical encryption philosophy, harmonizing the strengths of Feistel and substitution-permutation networks. The centerpiece of our strategy is achieving effective encryption in merely three rounds, tailored expressly for compressed Three-Dimensional Video (3DV) frames, ensuring their unwavering integrity. Assessing and prioritizing crucial drivers for CloudIoT-based healthcare adoption: an analytic hierarchy process approach

The CloudIoT paradigm has profoundly transformed the healthcare industry, providing outstanding innovation and practical applications. However, despite its many advantages, the adoption of this paradigm in healthcare settings remains limited. There is a lack of comprehensive understanding of the factors that ensure successful implementation. To address this issue, we have used the Analytic Hierarchy Process to prioritize 26 factors that could potentially influence the adoption of CloudIoT-based healthcare. These factors were derived from existing literature and categorized into four main groups: personal-specific, technology-specific, environment-specific, and organization-specific factors. Our findings revealed that performance expectancy, trust, facilitating conditions, task complexity, and perceived security are the top five critical factors influencing CloudIoT-based healthcare adoption. Interestingly, our results indicated that environmental factors were less influential than those in the other categories, with personal, technological, and organizational factors dominating the top ten significant factors. The insights from this study can help policymakers, CloudIoT service providers, healthcare providers, designers, and developers better understand the factors contributing to the successful implementation of CloudIoT-based healthcare.
