This paper proposes an approach to a robust state feedback controller design for real uncertain DC-motor system in time domain. Because only output vector of this real system is measurable, it is necessary to observe state vector. Polytopic model of uncertain system is considered as a plant model to be controlled. Stability and performance of the closed loop system is determined through the LMI region, where the closed loop poles of whole uncertainty domain are placed. To reduce the conservativeness of quadratic stability approach the parameter-dependent Lyapunov function (PDLF) is used. © IFAC.

Nonlinear time-delay systems: A polynomial approach using ore algebras

In this work Ore algebra defined over the field of meromorphic functions is introduced to provide a polynomial approach to nonlinear time-delay systems. In comparison to the systems without delays the polynomials related to the nonlinear time-delay systems belong now to the multivariate skew polynomial ring and have the sense of differential time-delay operators. Then the condition for accessibility of nonlinear time-delay systems is presented in terms of common left factors of such polynomials. Transfer functions of nonlinear time-delay systems are introduced as well and their basic properties are shown. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

Online monitoring of glutamic solution concentration is very important to control the crystallization process. Using infrared spectrometer ReactIR 15, we can obtain the real-time spectral data. Based on the partial least squares regression method, we can establish the regression model between glutamic solution concentration and the real-time spectral data. Repeated calibration experiments based on this model show that the average error is 0.53, and the average relative error is 1.88%. The model has good prediction ability, and it realized online monitoring of glutamic solution concentration in crystallization process. This paper proposed a good reference frame for the online analysis of solution concentration in crystallization process. © 2015 IEEE.

Mathematical technicalities, which are involved in the modern theory of non-linear control systems, many times prevents a wider use of the impressive theoretical results in practice. Attempts to overlap this gap between theory and practice are usually more than welcome and form the main scope of our interest in this work. An important control problem given by the disturbance decoupling is studied for a real laboratory model of coupled tanks. It is shown that the theoretical solution to the disturbance decoupling problem does not satisfy practical control requirememt . Accordingly, the solution is modified and yields a nonlinear controller with the distrubance decoupling. Experiments on the real plant, verifying and comparing the results with and without the disturbance decoupling, are included as well. It is shown that the disturbances practically do not affect the system output. © 2010 IFAC.

Autonomous vehicles are becoming part of real life. They include camera systems with object recognition. The use of recognition systems has a much wider application. The aim of the work is to create a functional model of an autonomous vehicle with traffic sign recognition. The theoretical part of the work describes the current state of the solution of autonomous vehicles, their development and problems inhibit their application in practical life. In the next part we deal with algorithms that evaluate the image obtained by the camera. The main topic of the work is a description of the program that drives the vehicle based on the camera captured and processed image. The program is trained to recognize standard traffic signs. The vehicle responds to the recognized signs in a predefined way. © 2022 IEEE.

The goal of this paper is to describe a construction of autonomous vehicle that will be able to orientate in rooms inside a building. For this purpose a large amount of sensors is used including Wi-Fi sensor which measures strength on surrounding Wi-Fi signals. Whereas Wi-Fi networks are almost everywhere and if not their establishment is not very expensive. Autonomous car is also using a sensor for line tracking to determine path of vehicle. Autonomous car is using machine learning model to evaluate all data from sensors and determine in which room is vehicle located. © 2022 IEEE.

Medical image fusion is considered the best method for obtaining one image with rich details for efficient medical diagnosis and *** learning provides a high performance for several medical image analysis *** paper proposes a deep learning model for the medical image fusion *** model depends on Convolutional Neural Network(CNN).The basic idea of the proposed model is to extract features from both CT and MR ***,an additional process is executed on the extracted *** that,the fused feature map is reconstructed to obtain the resulting fused ***,the quality of the resulting fused image is enhanced by various enhancement techniques such as Histogram Matching(HM),Histogram Equalization(HE),fuzzy technique,fuzzy type,and Contrast Limited Histogram Equalization(CLAHE).The performance of the proposed fusion-based CNN model is measured by various metrics of the fusion and enhancement *** realistic datasets of different modalities and diseases are tested and ***,real datasets are tested in the simulation analysis.

The cultivation of Escherichia coli bacteria is widely used by geneticists and biopharmaceuticals to produce medicines and vaccines. In such industries, Bioprocesses are known by their harsh environment and very expensive physical sensors. This paper deals with nonlinear estimation and control of fed-batch Escherichia coli bioprocess. Enhancing the process performance and maximizing its efficiency by optimizing the control of Escherichia coli cultures depends on the availability of appropriate online sensors for the main culture components. In this study, an innovative method for nonlinear estimation and control of bioprocesses is designed and assessed. The new algorithm for control and estimation of Escherichia coli bioprocess states, based on the State-Dependent Riccati Equation technique, is validated by numerical simulation. The results obtained clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed technique for Biosystems in measuring, monitoring, and control of their natural nonlinear dynamics. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2017.

One of the most significant issues in the cities is the heavy traffic that everyday citizens are involved with. In recent decades, various sciences, such as computing science and control and traffic science have been incorporated to address this problem. In this paper, theoretically, the Terminal Sliding Mode control (TSMC) method is proposed to control the traffic flow in urban networks. Firstly, a two regions model for urban traffic with various uncertainties and external disturbances is considered;subsequently, the Lyapunov stability method is employed to control the urban traffic flow in this model by using designed control inputs and adaptive laws. Finally, a numerical simulation for a case study is performed in Simulink/MATLAB to reveal the effectiveness of the proposed designs in this paper. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.
