CsPbI_(3)perovskite quantum dots(QDs)are ideal materials for the next generation of red light-emitting ***,the low phase stability of CsPbI_(3)QDs and long-chain insulating capping ligands hinder the improvement of device *** in-situ ligand replacement and ligand exchange after synthesis were often difficult to ***,we proposed a new ligand exchange strategy using a proton-prompted insitu exchange of short 5-aminopentanoic acid ligands with long-chain oleic acid and oleylamine ligands to obtain stable small-size CsPbI_(3)*** exchange strategy maintained the size and morphology of CsPbI_(3)QDs and improved the optical properties and the conductivity of CsPbI_(3)QDs *** a result,high-efficiency red QD-based light-emitting diodes with an emission wavelength of 645 nm demonstrated a record maximum external quantum efficiency of 24.45%and an operational half-life of 10.79 h.

We present a systematic methodology for synthesizing metasurface (MS) angular filters, which are beneficial for improving antenna radiation patterns: by deriving a convenient rational-function form for the reflection coefficient, we facilitate efficient and flexible design of such devices. We validate our framework via full-wave simulations by devising all-pass angular filters with tunable phase featuring rigorously designed physical MS inclusions. Our results pave the path towards complete control over the angular response of MSs, from theory to practice. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper presents two compact-sized rectangular microstrip patch antenna(RMSPA) models with multiple slots for 5G mobile communication applications which require high bandwidth. The radiating elements of the proposed antennas are modified by varying slot arrangements. The resonating frequency of 28GHz, one of the candidates for 5G applications, is considered at which a low atmospheric absorption rate of electromagnetic waves has resulted. The size of the proposed antennas is 7 × 7 × 0.8 mm3 with a substrate of FR4 material, a relative permittivity of 4.3, and a loss tangent of 0.025. The proposed antennas are simulated using computer Simulation technology (CST) Microwave Studio electromagnetic simulator software. For a better bandwidth improvement over the existing designs, multiple slots are inserted and optimized. Additionally, compared to published results the performance of the proposed antennas show improvements in return loss, voltage standing wave ratio(VSWR), and gain. © 2022 IEEE.

We present an alternative scheme for obtaining effective power dissipation in planar composites, extending the recently proposed concept of metagrating (MGs), sparse arrangements of polarizable particles (meta-atoms), to realize multifunctional absorbers. In contrast to typical metasurface solutions, where periodicities are limited to half of a wavelength at most to avoid high-order Floquet-Bloch modes, we purposely consider large-period MGs, relying on their proven ability to effectively mitigate spurious scattering. The absorption process is thus implemented via precise engineering of the mutual coupling between numerous individual scatterers fitting in the enlarged period, with these additional degrees of freedom further utilized to enforce the perfect absorption conditions for multiple excitation angles simultaneously. The resultant devices, utilizing a standard printed circuit board configuration obtained semianalytically while featuring relaxed fabrication demands, exhibit high absorption across a wide angular range, useful for radar cross section reduction and energy harvesting applications. © 2022 IEEE.

Wilga 2022 Summer Symposium on Photonics Applications and Web engineering was the 50th edition of the research and technical meetings series. Traditionally, the whole week lasting annual series of technical conferences and topical sessions was split to one winter meeting in January and two summer events in May/June, and in September 2022. The hybrid meetings were held in Wilga resort near Warsaw, owned by the Warsaw University of technology and in Lublin. Nearly 100 participants took part in all of the Wilga 2022 events, most of them being young researchers active in all aspects of photonics, electronics and ICT science and technology. Wilga Symposium embraces hardware and software technologies associated with photonics like optics, optical engineering, optoelectronics, electronics and electrical engineering, mechatronics, chemical and material engineering, applied physics, industrial solutions and applications. Around 100 papers were presented during Wilga 2022, oral and poster. Out of this number, some papers chosen by authors are published in this volume of Proc. SPIE mostly related to photonics. The major change was that during Wilga 2020, 2021 and 2022 Symposia, during summer editions, no traditional large young researcher sessions at large were possible to be organized. © 2022 SPIE. Dipper throated optimization(DTO)algorithm is a novel with a very efficient metaheuristic inspired by the dipper throated *** has its unique hunting technique by performing rapid bowing *** show the efficiency of the proposed algorithm,DTO is tested and compared to the algorithms of Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO),Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA),Grey Wolf Optimizer(GWO),and Genetic Algorithm(GA)based on the seven unimodal benchmark ***,ANOVA and Wilcoxon rank-sum tests are performed to confirm the effectiveness of the DTO compared to other optimization ***,to demonstrate the proposed algorithm’s suitability for solving complex realworld issues,DTO is used to solve the feature selection *** strategy of using DTOs as feature selection is evaluated using commonly used data sets from the University of California at Irvine(UCI)*** findings indicate that the DTO outperforms all other algorithms in addressing feature selection issues,demonstrating the proposed algorithm’s capabilities to solve complex real-world situations.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems need a material compatible with the imaging technique with lesser attenuation and provide accurate images without distortion. Carbon fibers are the best-suited materials for x-ray applications because of their radiolucent properties and reduced attenuation characteristics. However, carbon fiber produces images with distortion in the MRI system by absorbing electromagnetic energy because of its conductive nature. In the present study, five different fiber-reinforced radiolucent composite plates are analyzed to predict their suitability for a radio frequency coil and the effect of a primary magnetic field of 1.5 T and 3.0 T on mechanical responses. Simulation models are built to explore the impact of electromagnetic waves and birdcage coil configurations on composite material and quantify the temperature changes caused due to energy absorption. A multiphysics coupling simulation is being used to understand the effect of stacking sequence, ply orientation, and boundary conditions on the response of composite plates under an electro-magneto-mechanical environment. © The Author(s) 2022.

The demands on conventional communication networks are increasing rapidly because of the exponential expansion of connected multimedia *** light of the data-centric aspect of contemporary communication,the information-centric network(ICN)paradigm offers hope for a solution by emphasizing content retrieval by name instead of *** 5G networks are to meet the expected data demand surge from expanded connectivity and Internet of Things(IoT)devices,then effective caching solutions will be required tomaximize network throughput andminimize the use of ***,an ICN-based Cooperative Caching(ICN-CoC)technique has been used to select a cache by considering cache position,content attractiveness,and rate *** findings show that utilizing our suggested approach improves caching regarding the Cache Hit Ratio(CHR)of 84.3%,Average Hop Minimization Ratio(AHMR)of 89.5%,and Mean Access Latency(MAL)of 0.4 *** a framework,it suggests improved caching strategies to handle the difficulty of effectively controlling data consumption in 5G *** improvements aim to make the network run more smoothly by enhancing content delivery,decreasing latency,and relieving *** improving 5G communication systems’capacity tomanage the demands faced by modern data-centric applications,the research ultimately aids in advancement.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in robotics, particularly in the advancement of gaming robotics, has drawn a lot of interest as technological and scientific developments continue to advance. This innovation opens up new possibilities for creating smart autonomous robots for gaming. Nevertheless, there is more work to be done to achieve great accuracy and consistency in motion management. The challenges of the robotics' level of smart and the motion-capturing structure's capacity to prevent interruption still require resolution, although numerous methods have been put out to improve monitoring accuracy by merging various data. This study proposes an adaptable reinforcement learning (RL)-oriented multifaceted data combination (AdRL-MDC) system for training a robotic hand to play games alongside humans. It incorporates an adaptable training process for updating the ensemble classification algorithm, an RL paradigm that provides the robots with smart knowledge, and a multifaceted data combination framework that is resistant to interruption. The following studies demonstrate the AdRL-MDC system's previously indicated functionality. The ensemble framework, which combines a convolutional neural network (CNN), performs well in terms of accuracy and computing duration. Furthermore, the depth vision-oriented CNN classification algorithm achieves one hundred percent recognition accuracy, implying that the forecasted motions are the real value.

Indonesia has been participating at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) since 1995. The process of selecting the four contestants remains unchanged. All medalists in the national level competition were invited to take a series of training camps to select competitively the candidates. In the first two decades of participation in IOI, Indonesia have collected two gold medals, and these surprising achievements were merely more because of luck, and not as a result of a reliable training/selection process. We believe reliable and good training is a basis to predict and expect a stable achievement. Through careful observations and reflections, a change of course of action is needed to bring Indonesia’s achievement to the next level. This paper shares Indonesia’s experience in changing and implementing strategies during the national training camps to better prepare the four contestants to IOI. What are the changes taken by the coaching team that have been exercised that made it possible for Indonesia to achieve three gold in the last four consecutive years? © 2023 IOI, Vilnius University.
