This study introduces an innovative approach to enhancing e-commerce product listings through subject-driven text-to-image generation, leveraging advanced AI technologies. Focused on transforming consumer first impressions, it blends personalized visual styles with online retail needs, striking a balance between standardization and customization. The research develops a unique method for image synthesis, improving upon existing AI models such as DreamBooth and Textual Inversion. This work not only equips online sellers with dynamic visual tools but also significantly enriches AI applications in e-commerce, offering both practical and academic contributions to the field. Our proposed model is evaluated based on various numerical and human-based evaluation metrics. The experimental results show that our model achieves a significant performance compared to other baseline models. Our model is further analyzed and discussed under correlation analysis, visual quality assessment, and ablation study to ensure its practical applicability and user satisfaction. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

Bremsstrahlung—the spontaneous emission of broadband radiation from free electrons that are deflected by atomic nuclei—contributes to the majority of X-rays emitted from X-ray tubes and used in applications ranging from medical imaging to semiconductor chip ***,we show that the bremsstrahlung intensity can be enhanced significantly—by more than three orders of magnitude—through shaping the electron wavefunction to periodically overlap with atoms in crystalline ***,we show how to shape the bremsstrahlung X-ray emission pattern into arbitrary angular emission profiles for purposes such as unidirectionality and ***,we find that these enhancements and shaped emission profiles cannot be attributed solely to the spatial overlap between the electron probability distribution and the atomic centers,as predicted by the paraxial and nonrecoil theory for free electron light *** work highlights an unprecedented regime of free electron light emission where electron waveshaping provides multi-dimensional control over practical radiation processes like *** results pave the way towards greater versatility in table-top X-ray sources and improved fundamental understanding of quantum electron-light interactions.

Various finger dimensions of interdigitated electrodes in TiO2-B2O3 nanocomposite sensors were proposed in this study. To study the silver diffusement effect on the hydrogen sensing characteristics at different operating temperatures. The result showed that some of the silver particles diffused to the surface of the TiO2-B2O3 nanocomposite sensor after the annealing process at 500°C. The amount of silver particles diffused into the TiO2-B2O3 surface was contributed by the finger dimension of the interdigitated electrode used in the nanocomposite sensor. The results revealed that the structure of interdigitated electrodes in T65 nanocomposite sensor enhanced the performance at low hydrogen concentrations with response values were approximately 4.78, 11.47, 14.47, 16.58, and 20.00 for 100 ppm, 300 ppm, 500 ppm, 700 ppm, and 1000 ppm, respectively, at the optimum operating temperature of 200°C. The activation energy for all nanocomposite sensors was approximately in the range of 40–70 kJ/mol. © 2024 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Reliability is critical for integrated circuits (ICs) to ensure accurate operation over their lifetimes. With the rise of mission-critical systems, reliability continues to be ever more essential. However, recent advancements in semiconductors have revealed that ICs are vulnerable to reliability issues, particularly those stemming from transistor aging. Transistor aging refers to the gradual deterioration of a transistor’s performance over time and depends mainly on the bias-temperature instability (BTI). The BTI severely affects IC reliability, degrading performance and causing critical circuit failures due to timing violations. Additionally, asymmetric aging occurs when the degradation is unevenly distributed, intensifying timing violations and reliability concerns. This paper examines how asymmetric transistor aging affects clock tree design and highlights the role of useful skew, clock gates, and asymmetry between clock buffer delays and net delays in amplifying reliability concerns. Furthermore, we propose new design flow guidelines to address asymmetric-aging-related violations in clock trees. © 2023 Design and Verification Conference and Exhibition Europe, DVCon Europe

The elevator data of the welding production line has significant timing characteristics. There are more normal data and less abnormal data. Therefore, it becomes more complicated to diagnose the abnormality of the welding production line hoisting system through data analysis. This paper proposes a hybrid fault diagnosis method that combines a Transformer with a convolutional neural network. Firstly, the Transformer is used to extract the long-range dependencies in the data and identify complex faults that may not be adjacent. Then, the convolutional neural network extracted local or spatial features from the data. Finally, the multilayer perceptron maps the extracted features to the output space. The model innovatively merges the Transformer's global context analysis with the convolutional neural network's local feature detection precision, boosting fault diagnosis accuracy and efficiency. The proposed hybrid model was applied to the actual vibration data set of the hoists condition monitoring system of the white welding production line, and the results were contrasted with those of the support vector machine method, the long short-term memory network method, and the back propagation neural network method. Experimental findings demonstrate that the hybrid model achieves an accuracy of 99.98%, which is suitable for the fault diagnosis of the driving end bearing of the body of the white welding production line. © 2024 IEEE.

To accommodate a large number of users requiring higher data rates and improved outage performance, a heterogeneous cellular network (HCN) uses a multi-tier architecture made up of a macro-base station (MBS) and pico-base station (PBS). Due to its superior spectrum efficiency, non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) has been identified as a suitable multiple-access strategy for the upcoming sixth-generation wireless networks. Successive interference cancellation (SIC) is an essential technique in NOMA that enables multiple users to share the same resource while maintaining high performance and fairness. Thus, it is essential to understand the performance guarantees of actual NOMA-enabled HCN systems (HCN-NOMA) using a multi-tier design under both ideal and imperfect SIC using a stochastic geometry. In multi-tier HCN, the outage probability and system throughput of orthogonal multiple access (OMA) and NOMA under perfect and imperfect SIC are evaluated and compared in this paper. It has been found that using NOMA rather than OMA results in performance gains of up to 40% at 25 dB SNR in HCN. Performance increases of up to 30% against OMA at 25 dB SNR can be observed, despite imperfections in the SIC at NOMA. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, the imperative need for efficient energy utilization in residential buildings has become increasingly evident due to the unwarranted wastage of electrical energy. This has spurred significant interest in optimizing energy consumption while maintaining user comfort. Accurate energy prediction is a crucial component of this optimization. This study focus on minimizing energy consumption by accurately predicting it through advanced Machine Learning (ML) models and optimization techniques. The study begins with the collection of energy data from a reliable source, Kaggle, comprising 29 features. To streamline the dataset, unnecessary features are discarded, and data normalization is performed to ensure consistency and reliability. Subsequently, ML models, specifically Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), are designed and optimized through the Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) to fine-tune hyperparameters. The prediction results are evaluated using error values to assess the accuracy and reliability of the models. Notably, our findings indicate that the GWO-LSTM model outperforms the others, exhibiting minimal errors and therefore showcasing its superior predictive capabilities. Accurate energy prediction not only serves as a valuable tool in its own right but also plays a pivotal role in enabling proactive energy management. By accurately forecasting future energy requirements, it becomes possible to optimize energy consumption further. Such precision paves the way for intelligent scheduling of home appliances, which, in turn, leads to significant reductions in energy consumption. © 2024 IEEE.

We consider the problem of causal filtering of a model-free process from (noisy) nonlinear measurements. The 'model-free process' means that we do not have a state-space model (SSM) of the process dynamics, limiting the use of traditional model-driven filters, such as unscented Kalman filter (UKF) and particle filter (PF). To address the problem we propose a particle-based data-driven nonlinear state estimation (pDANSE) method. In pDANSE, a recurrent neural network (RNN) provides the statistical parameters of a Gaussian prior of the underlying state, and particles are then drawn from the prior to compute the posterior moments. pDANSE is typically trained in a semi-supervised fashion. For our experiments we study the use of half-wave rectification as a nonlinear transformation of measurements. We first show that an unsupervised learning-based method under-performs, and subsequently the semi-supervised learning-based pDANSE performs satisfactorily. Using Lorenz-63 system as benchmark, pDANSE is found to be competitive against a model-driven PF that knows the exact SSM. © 2025 IEEE.

The drum kit, which has only been around for around 100 years, is a popular instrument in many music genres such as pop, rock, and jazz. However, the road to owning a kit is expensive, both financially and space-wise. Also, drums are more difficult to move around compared to other instruments, as they do not fit into a single bag. We propose a no-drums approach that uses only two sticks and a smartphone or a webcam to provide an air-drumming experience. The detection algorithm combines deep learning tools with tracking methods for an enhanced user experience. Based on both quantitative and qualitative testing with humans-in-the-loop, we show that our system has zero misses for beginner level play and negligible misses for advanced level play. Additionally, our limited human trials suggest potential directions for future research. © 2023 IEEE.

Pure metallic reflectarray antennas have good power efficiency and low fabrication cost, limited to single-band operation in the past. A dual-band reflectarray antenna is developed for two directional beams by two feeds. The reflecting elements are metal waveguides and have novel properties of both resonant and non-resonant modes at the two frequency bands. The low and high-frequency bands can be easily separated by the cutoff frequency of waveguide modes. The phase-changing mechanisms via ray optics and fundamental waveguide modes, respectively, provide simple formulations for the elemental structure design of directional beams. Radiation characteristics of the linear and circular polarizations are cross-examined with a good performance by full-wave simulations using HFSS, FEKO, and CST at 28 and 60 GHz bands for 5G front-haul network applications. In particular, we have used HFSS to simulate the reflecting elements' basic characteristics of phase variation, FEKO to simulate the linear polarization antenna case, and CST to simulate the circular polarization antenna case, respectively. © 2023.
