Stunting in toddlers is a chronic nutritional issue that affects the physical and cognitive development of children, with serious long-term consequences such as reduced cognitive function and an increased risk of chronic diseases in adulthood. Therefore, early identification and prevention efforts for stunting are crucial. Classifying toddlers into categories of at-risk for stunting or not is essential to provide timely and appropriate interventions. This study employs data mining techniques using the decision tree algorithm to expedite the stunting detection process and improve the accuracy of nutritional status classification in children. The results indicate that the constructed decision tree model can classify children's nutritional status with an accuracy of 83.26%. The decision tree achieves high accuracy in classifying stunting in toddlers due to its ability to handle complex data and identify significant patterns within the data. © 2024 IEEE.

LoRa technology contributes to green energy by enabling efficient,long-range communication for the Internet of Things(IoT).This paper addresses the challenges related to coverage range in outdoor monitoring systems utilizing LoRa,where the network performance is affected by the density of gateways(GWs)and end devices(EDs),as well as environmental *** mitigate interference,data throughput losses,and high-power consumption,the proposed spreading factor(SF)and hybrid(data rate|SF)models dynamically adjust the transmission *** orchestration of concurrent data modifications within the network server(NS)is crucial for uninterrupted communication between GWs and EDs,especially in monitoring electric vehicle(EV)stations to reduce traffic congestion and *** K-means and density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise(DBSCAN)algorithms optimizes ED allocation,averts data congestion,and improves the signal-tointerference noise ratio(SINR).These methods ensure seamless information reception by meticulously allocated EDs across various GW *** estimate the free-space losses(FSL),a log-distance path loss model(log-PL)is *** various bandwidths(BWs),bidirectional communications,and duty cycles(DCs)helps to prevent saturation,thus prolonging the operational lifespan of *** findings reveal a notable packet rejection rate(PRR)of 0%for the DBSCAN(hybrid model).In contrast,the K-means exhibits a PRR ranging from 5%(hybrid model)to 35.29%(SF model)for the ten GWs ***,the network saturation is reduced to 10.185%and 9.503%,respectively,highlighting an improvement in the average efficiency of slotted ALOHA(91.1%)and pure ALOHA(90.7%).These enhancements increase the lifespan of EDs to 15,465.27 days.

This research paper focuses on the use of a thermal model of a CNC machine monitoring system that has been developed using open-source tools. By integrating these tools, predictive maintenance capabilities can be developed, leading to increased machine reliability. The methodology involves the implementation of a thermal model designed with Simulink software. The thermal model has been implemented into a developed monitoring system based on open-source tools, which allows access to real-time data of the CNC machine. The thermal model's correctness has been verified with the machine operation using the data obtained from the CNC machine monitoring system. The use of open-source tools provides flexibility and adaptability in tailoring the thermal model to specific requirements and gaining key insights into the thermal behavior of the machine. The final section of the publication presents a comparison of simulated and measured outputs. © 2023 IEEE.

In this research we aim to develop a computer-aided diagnostic system (CAD) for breast ultrasound imaging to enhance the early detection of breast cancer. CAD tools aid physicians in the diagnostic process leading to early detection and treatment of breast cancer. The proposed CAD tool comprises three stages, the first is enhancement of breast ultrasound imaging by applying custom segmentation deep learning architectures [U-Net, SK-U-Net, RDA-U-Net] to enhance the isolation of masses in Ultrasound images, then generation of new ultrasound images by employing Generative Adversarial Networks [DAGAN, DCGAN] to overcome data limitation in available data-sets, and the last stage is the detection and classification of breast cancer masses by a CNN model. The enhancement stage shows promising results with accuracy of 98 % overall accuracy, 92 % overall precision, and 85 % overall *** Relevance: Breast cancer is one of the deadly diseases in the world. The earlier the detection the higher the chances of recovery. Thus a CAD tool that facilitates the screening process of ultrasound images will aid physicians in the early detection and diagnosis of the disease. © 2023 IEEE.

The paper presents a comparative analysis of the simulation results of a DC-DC buck regulator based on LM2595 on three different simulation platforms: PSpice, LTspice, and Tina. The comparative analysis includes visual comparison of selected waveforms, comparison of statistical parameters of the observed signals, and comparison based on time step signal analysis. The simulation was performed using three different maximal time step conditions. The research focused on examining the differences caused by different simulation platforms under the same maximal time step condition, as well as the differences caused by different maximal time step conditions within a single simulation platform. This analysis is crucial, particularly when comparing different simulation Spice models that require simulations to be conducted on various simulation platforms. By comparing the results obtained from different platforms under the same simulation conditions, the impact of the simulation platform on the accuracy and behavior of the models can be assessed. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents an electronically controlled biquadratic filter designed for precise frequency selection in applications such as audio processing, telecommunications, and cochlear implants. The design utilizes AD830, AD844, and LM13700 integrated circuits, facilitating high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass responses with improved stability and real-time tunability. PSPICE simulations validate the filter's adaptability and performance, demonstrating its effectiveness in dynamic environments and its suitability for high-frequency applications requiring flexible frequency control. The results indicate a calculated pole frequency of 2.23 MHz, while simulations yield a slightly lower value of 2.0 MHz, affirming the design's practical viability and alignment with theoretical expectations.

This paper explores strategies for accelerating the research and development (R&D) process through in-house pre-compliance testing in a dedicated laboratory. The focus is on conducting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, particularly conducted emissions, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) immunity, early in the development cycle. The paper also introduces an innovative device, called the DMX Buddy. This is a specialized device designed to bridge the gap between intelligent lighting systems and non-intelligent light sources. One of the key features of the device is its ability to act as a gateway between the DMX512 protocol and other control systems that incorporate failsafe mechanisms. The control unit of the device is a microcontroller from STMicroelectronics, aimed at managing the interactions between various peripherals, power management circuits, and user interfaces.

The authors of this paper propose a block diagram for a dual-operating buffer on a dynamic optical RAM. The buffer consists of two dynamic optical RAMs, each controlled separately to allow for simultaneous writing and reading of data, thereby improving performance. This setup enables data to be read from the buffer while new data is being written to it. Implementing a dual-operating buffer on a dynamic optical RAM has the potential to enhance the performance of high-speed data transmission in telecommunications networks. The authors conducted numerical calculations to compare failure probabilities between single-operation and dual-operation buffers on dynamic optical RAM. The results indicated that using a dual-operating buffer significantly reduces the probability of failure with the same buffer memory capacity compared to a single-operating buffer. Additionally, the authors analyzed the effectiveness of the proposed dual-operating buffer. The analysis confirmed that exploiting dynamic optical memory for buffering enhances data transfer speed and efficiency due to the inherent properties of optical data transfer, such as high bandwidth and low latency. © 2024 IEEE.

Various organizations store data online rather than on physical *** the number of user’s data stored in cloud servers increases,the attack rate to access data from cloud servers also *** researchers worked on different algorithms to protect cloud data from replay *** of the papers used a technique that simultaneously detects a full-message and partial-message replay *** study presents the development of a TKN(Text,Key and Name)cryptographic algorithm aimed at protecting data from replay *** program employs distinct ways to encrypt plain text[P],a user-defined Key[K],and a Secret Code[N].The novelty of the TKN cryptographic algorithm is that the bit value of each text is linked to another value with the help of the proposed algorithm,and the length of the cipher text obtained is twice the length of the original *** the scenario that an attacker executes a replay attack on the cloud server,engages in cryptanalysis,or manipulates any data,it will result in automated modification of all associated values inside the *** mechanism has the benefit of enhancing the detectability of replay ***,the attacker cannot access data not included in any of the papers,regardless of how effective the attack strategy *** the end of paper,the proposed algorithm’s novelty will be compared with different algorithms,and it will be discussed how far the proposed algorithm is better than all other algorithms.
