The amalgamation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) into Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) provides significant prospects to improve network capabilities. This study examines the energy renewable efficiency and performance of UAVs operating in WSNs and MANETs. The assessment considers a variety of elements that influence energy consumption, including the possibility of integrating renewable energy, energy management measures, and the impact on overall network performance. This seeks to provide insights into optimizing energy usage and improving the operating efficiency of UAVs in these dynamic network situations through extensive analysis and evaluation. A special emphasis is placed on the management of mobility, the optimization of energy usage, and the effectiveness of routing protocols. The paper explores existing protocols such as LEACH, AODV and OLSR highlighting their benefits and challenges for UAV's. A comparative analysis evaluates adapted protocols based on metrics such as energy efficiency, latency, and reliability. © 2024 IEEE.

The development of the internet is getting faster, participating in encouraging the emergence of new and innovative information. In filtering the various information that appears, we need a recommended system to perform well for users in today's internet era. A well-performing recommendation system in question is a reliable recommendation algorithm. This algorithm is fundamental to analyzing various information, such as responses on social media based on user behavior data related to the topic of COVID. This data is crawled from tweets on social media Twitter. The data analysis algorithm obtained uses Python, which is then visualized in the form of a diagram. The processed data is user comments on Twitter, and the text data is analyzed using Python, using more than 60000 data sets taken to form visualizations and conclusions. From sentiment analysis, polarity and subjectivity data are obtained to be analyzed, which are negative, neutral, or positive. The result is show positive tweets with 29.2%, negative tweets is 13%, and 57.8% neutral tweets. Lastly, sentiment analysis can help people effectively infer vast and complex data from social media like Twitter. © 2022 IEEE.

As society becomes more aware of environmental and social issues, supply chain stakeholders increasingly consider these factors alongside efficiency, cost, and time. The logistics industry must adapt by integrating Industry 4.0 technologies and sustainability practices. Sustainable Logistics 4.0, though nascent, is gaining traction for enhancing sustainability through digital interventions. This study conducted a comprehensive literature review and bibliometric network analysis using data extracted from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases, covering the period from 2013 to 2023, focusing on the integration of sustainability, Industry 4.0, and logistics. Noting a gap in conceptual frameworks, the paper performs a SWOT analysis to identify key factors and proposes a framework for digitalizing sustainable logistics and addressing emerging challenges. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Optimization is a key technique for maximizing or minimizing functions and achieving optimal cost,gains,energy,mass,and so *** order to solve optimization problems,metaheuristic algorithms are *** of these techniques are influenced by collective knowledge and natural *** is no such thing as the best or worst algorithm;instead,there are more effective algorithms for certain ***,in this paper,a new improved variant of a recently proposed metaphorless Runge-Kutta Optimization(RKO)algorithm,called Improved Runge-Kutta Optimization(IRKO)algorithm,is suggested for solving optimization *** IRKO is formulated using the basic RKO and local escaping operator to enhance the diversification and intensification capability of the basic RKO *** performance of the proposed IRKO algorithm is validated on 23 standard benchmark functions and three engineering constrained optimization *** outcomes of IRKO are compared with seven state-of-the-art algorithms,including the basic RKO *** to other algorithms,the recommended IRKO algorithm is superior in discovering the optimal results for all selected optimization *** runtime of IRKO is less than 0.5 s for most of the 23 benchmark problems and stands first for most of the selected problems,including real-world optimization problems.

Digital representations of users in virtual environments are known as avatars in the metaverse. They serve as the main vehicle for self-expression and identification in these digital places, enabling people to connect, socialize, and travel throughout the metaverse. Avatars' physical characteristics can be altered, such as their body type, skin tone, facial features, hairstyle, attire, and accessories. Design, development, and integration activities are usually combined for the avatar system to provide a smooth and interesting user experience. However, prior studies lack on how we should be able to customize the Avatar systems and integrate them into the Metaverse systems. This research tries to highlight and propose a method that might be able to deploy the avatar creation with a more straightforward user interface and apply it to the Metaverse environment. Our study provides a practical contribution to how to create a more straightforward avatar customization system and integrate it into the Metaverse Environment.

Empirical risk minimization (ERM) of neural networks is prone to over-reliance on spurious correlations and poor generalization on minority groups. The recent deep feature reweighting (DFR) technique [33] achieves state-of-the-art group robustness via simple last-layer retraining, but it requires held-out group and class annotations to construct a group-balanced reweighting dataset. In this work, we examine this impractical requirement and find that last-layer retraining can be surprisingly effective with no group annotations (other than for model selection) and only a handful of class annotations. We first show that last-layer retraining can greatly improve worst-group accuracy even when the reweighting dataset has only a small proportion of worst-group data. This implies a "free lunch" where holding out a subset of training data to retrain the last layer can substantially outperform ERM on the entire dataset with no additional data or annotations. To further improve group robustness, we introduce a lightweight method called selective last-layer fine-tuning (SELF), which constructs the reweighting dataset using misclassifications or disagreements. Our empirical and theoretical results present the first evidence that model disagreement upsamples worst-group data, enabling SELF to nearly match DFR on four well-established benchmarks across vision and language tasks with no group annotations and less than 3% of the held-out class annotations. In this paper, the problem of fault estimation and localization in the connecting dynamic elements of distributed heating and cooling systems are treated. The fault represents the physical parameter change related to the heat transfer between the system and the external environment. First, based on the bi-linear dynamic state space model of the system in the presence of a fault, structural observability analysis using Signed Directed Graph (SDG) has been performed to investigate the sensor placement problem. Then, a nonlinear observer with a parameter adaptation algorithm was proposed for fault estimation. The simulation results show that it can successfully detect and estimate the fault. Fault localization along the length of the element has also been attempted, but it has been found that the localization cannot be performed using practically changeable input variables. Frequency domain analysis is presented to discuss this phenomenon.

We report the design of a nanophotonic metaloxide front contact aimed at perovskite solar cells(PSCs)to enhance optoelectronic properties and device stability in the presence of ultraviolet(UV)***-quality Cr-doped ZnO film was prepared by industrially feasible magnetron sputter deposition for the electron transport layer of *** a means,the influence of the Cr content on the film and device was systematically ***-depth device optics and electrical effects were studied using advanced three-dimensional opto-electrical multiphysics rigorous simulations,optimizing the front contact for realizing high *** numerical simulation was validated by fabricating PSCs optimized to reach high performance,energy conversion efficiency(ECE)=17.3%,open-circuit voltage(V_(OC))=1.08 V,short-circuit current density(J_(SC))=21.1 mA cm^(-2),and fillfactor(FF)=76%.Finally,a realistic front contact of nanophotonic architecture was proposed while improving broadband light absorption of the solar spectrum and light harvesting,resulting in enhanced quantum efficiency(QE).The nanophotonic PSC enables J_(SC)improvement by~17%while reducing the reflection by 12%,resulting in an estimated conversion efficiency over 23%.It is further demonstrated how the PSCs’UV-stability can be improved without considerably sacrificing optoelectronic *** of nanophotonic designed ZnO:Cr front contact,PSCs device,and fabrication process are described.

Radio frequency energy harvesting has attracted considerable interest as a technique of enabling self-powered wireless networks. This technique faces several challenges, such as the receiving and the rectifying modules of a rectenna system. Multiband antennas provide several comparative advantages against the goal of maximizing the amount of energy harvesting. In this work, we present a multiband microstrip patch antenna with three slits operating in the LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) and the cellular (GSM-1800 and UMTS) communication frequency bands. A feasible solution of the antenna is obtained by the application of a recently introduced nature-inspired optimization technique, namely the Coyote Optimization Algorithm. The proposed antenna operates satisfactorily in the LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) and the cellular (GSM-1800 and UMTS) communication frequency bands. Measured results of the proposed antenna exhibit an acceptable performance (multiband frequency operation, maximum gain of 3.94 dBi, broadside operation) and demonstrate features of operation, which make it a strong candidate for various RF energy harvesting applications. © 2020 IEEE.
