The Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) is a combination of a series active filter (SeAF) and a shunt active filter (ShAF) connected in parallel by a DC link capacitor. This device can mitigate power quality (PQ) problems i.e. sag/swell, harmonics, and unbalance on the source and load bus of threephase three-wire (3P3W) on low voltage distribution systems simultaneously. The disadvantage of UPQC is that it is unable to overcome the voltage interruption so that the source can not deliver power to the load. This paper proposes a dual UPQC model to overcome the voltage interruption on the source bus so that the load bus continues to get power supply. There are six disturbance cases i.e. sinusoidal supply-sag-non-linear load (SSag-NL-L), sinusoidal supply-swell-NL-L (S-Swell-NL-L), sinusoidal-interruption-NL-L (S-Inter-NL-L), distorted supplysag-NL-L load (D-Sag-NL-L), distorted supply-swell-NL-L (DSwell-NL-L), and distorted supply-interruption-NL-LL (DInter-NL-L). The proportional Integral (PI) method is used to control the SeAF and the ShAF in the dual UPQC circuit model. The simulation results show that in the D-Inter-NL-LL case, a Dual UPQC model can maintain a load voltage magnitude of 266.60 V (voltage drop only of 14%), higher compared to a Single UPQC model of 173.97 V (voltage drop of 43.88%). In the same case, a dual UPQC model is capable of resulting in an average total harmonics distortion (THD) of load voltage of 10.10%, lower compared to a single UPQC model of 26.70%.

This study aims to know the comparison design of electric motorcycle using hybrid systems (BLDC Motor) based on parameter testing, i.e., with and without load. The design of electric motorcycles is centered on determining a feasibility study comparing engine drive with electric drive. Electric vehicles are the answer to decreasing petroleum supplies and environmental concerns that are worsening every year due to oil-fueled cars’ exhaust emissions. The proportion of motor vehicle exhaust as an air pollution source is between 60 and 70 percent. The global decrease of fossil fuels is also a critical issue that has yet to be handled. A descriptive statistic methodology was employed in this work as an analytical tool. The results showed when the speed increases, the efficiency of the BLDC motor would increase; this is, of course, following the principle of Orsted’s law and Lorentz force. When compared to the no-load test, the efficiency by using the load will be greater because when the BLDC motor works with a load, it will require greater torque due to an increase in load so that it takes a large amount of power so that it will increase the efficiency of the BLDC motor. When compared in terms of using the battery, the time of using the battery with no load will be longer because it does not require too much current.

This paper is collaboration between BMKG and the University of Mataram to mitigate land slide. For this study using light intensity sensors, air temperature sensors, voltage sensors, current sensors, humidity sensors. This research is on a laboratory scale with a soil slope of 10 degrees, dry soil with a tendency to split (clay) from brittle volcanic rocks. The initial conditions were without rain, then the soil was burdened with rain in low (drizzle), medium (25mm/h) and high (55mm/h) capacities. The second condition of the stage is given a vibration which is a model of the earthquake evenly on that stage. Soil Moisture soil, soil temperature, 3 pieces of vibration sensor switch, piezo electric vibration sensor. The initial height of the soil is 36.78 cm with a width of 79.35cm after being rained for 90 minutes, the final height is 29.93 and 60.25 cm, widening receding to the right and left sides.

The number of Islamic boarding school teaching both information Technology (IT) Education and Religious Education is still limited. Vocational High School of information Technology Annajiyah located in Tambakberas, Jombang, East Java is a school having both subjects taught. The existence of Vocational High School of information Technology Annajiyah has not been widely known by outside and inside society of Jombang Regency. Therefore, Therefore, analysis of the use of SEO is necessary to determine the potential of website visit and school promotion. Previously, Vocational High School of information Technology Annajiyah promoted school by using brochures only. This method was considered able to introduce the school through traditional way. Analysis result of improving SEO can be seen in Google Analytic recorded a number of site visits amounted 403 in June, where 82.2% of active users are dominated by mobile phone users and fluctuation of the number of visits. This increase is affected by both the implementation of SEO and online PPDB process during the COVID pandemic.

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) has a spirit to become a Conservation and International Reputation University is realized through strategic missions. One of the conservation-oriented implementation programs is H-BAT (Green, Clean and Healthy) program. In its implementation, there is a problem, namely the achievement of H-BAT program has not been maximized during the last 3 years in assessment. The objectives of this research are: (1) to identify of the potential and character of environmental support in the work units; (2) to determine the achievement of the indication of a green campus based on the assessment indicators on H-BAT program. This research was carried out in four stages: (1) Data collection; (2) Spatial data processing; (3) Non Spatial data processing; (4) Analysis (ecological, technical standards); The results achieved in June 2020 are as follows: FT got 87,50%, FE got 85,87%, FMIPA got 81,52%, BUHK got79,49%, FIP got 73,91%, LP3 got 69,23%, LP2M got 63,46%, FIS got 60,33%,PPS got 57,07%, FIK got 56,52%, FH got 52,72%, FBS got 49,46%, TIK got 40,38%, BPB got 34,62%, Library got 30,13%, Archive got 17,31%. From these results, it can be seen that there is a lack of maximum achievement due to, among others, the lack of guidance and technical assistance in the management of the unit. So it is necessary to complete governance guidelines and technical assistance that are more intensive in unit governance to achieve the goals of UNNES as a green campus.

The successful implementation of smart grids depends on energy efficiency, mostly relying on the operation of electricity source infrastructure. The combination of energy sources undoubtedly provides complexity in real applications. Some of the challenges for a smart grids comes from the intermittent renewable energy characteristics such as bioenergy, geothermal, hydropower, solar, ocean power, and wind energy to the base load energy such as natural gas, coal, and nuclear. This paper aims to review the implementation of current advances of smart grids from combined energy mix sources. The review includes major components of smart grids, i.e. power plants, monitoring systems, substations, power transmission and distribution, controllers and smart meters. The review also investigates the state of the art contribution of power electronics, artificial intelligence and Internet of Things to more significant optimization, safety and efficiency in these areas. The results are expected to provide a further gap analysis of applicable technologies and best practices in mixed electricity generation sources. The final result will also consider its application in an archipelago country such as Indonesia.

In a natural disaster, it is often necessary to have an autonomous system capable of moving in an irregular and unpredictable area. This paper proposes a robot that is mechanically capable of moving in a disaster area and equipped with a navigation using behavior-based systems. Its mechanical, electronic and computing systems are described. The development of the primitive behavior that has been made is explained in detail. Several experiments have been carried out to show the performance of the proposed robotic systems. © 2020 IEEE.

In this investigation, a quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) model coupled with a quantum neural network (QNN) was used to explore the corrosion inhibition efficiency (CIE) of quinoxaline compounds. Integrating quantum chemical properties (QCP) features reduced computational burden by strategically reducing the features from 11 to 4 while maintaining prediction accuracy. QNN models outperform traditional methods like artificial neural networks (ANN) and multilayer perceptron neural networks (MLPNN), with a coefficient of determination (R 2 ) value of 0.987, coupled with diminished root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), and mean absolute deviation (MAD) values of 0.97, 0.92, and 1.10, respectively. Predictions for six newly synthesized quinoxaline derivatives: quinoxaline-6-carboxylic acid (Q1) , methyl quinoxaline-6-carboxylate (Q2) , (2 E ,3 E )-2,3-dihydrazono-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoxaline (Q3) , (2 E ,3 E ) 2,3-dihydrazono-6-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoxaline (Q4) , ( E )-3-(4-methoxyethyl)-7-methylquinoxalin-2(1 H)-one (Q5) , and 2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-7-methylthieno[3,2- b ] quinoxaline (Q6) , show remarkable CIE values of 95.12, 96.72, 91.02, 92.43, 89.58, and 93.63 %, respectively. This breakthrough technique simplifies testing and production procedures for new anti-corrosion materials.

The purpose of this research is to build a system that can detect certain face among several people. The system works using face recognition in searching suspects from a database. 30 images and 9 videos are used for training and testing. In the training process carried out several stages: (1) pre-processing of face images, (2) extraction of facial image training features using the Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) method, (3) face classification using the SVM method. There are several steps for testing process i.e.: (1) video frame extraction, (2) cascade classifier method with the Local Binary Pattern (LBP) feature descriptor, (3) HOG for extracting facial features detected in the frames, and (4) SVM as the face classifier. The processed video data is 1920x1080 pixel resolution which has been recorded using a CCTV camera which is mounted on a wall with height and slope angle of 2.5 meters and 60 degrees. There are two goals implemented in this research. The first goal is to find the highest accuracy from several testing of frame sampling by setting the best threshold value. The second goal is to find the lowest processing time. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Correlation between digital literacy and environmental literacy of 11th-grade students

The rapid development of technology, information, and communication requires students to master digital literacy. In addition, the rapid development of technology also affects environmental conditions, so it is necessary to master environmental literacy to understand and interpret environmental conditions, as well as build students’ awareness of environmental issues. This study aims to determine the correlation between digital literacy and student environmental literacy. The population in this research includes 11th-grade students of SMAN 1 Batu. The research sample amounted to 102 students, and the sampling technique used was purposive random sampling. Data were collected through digital literacy questionnaires, environmental literacy questionnaires, and environmental literacy tests. The data were tested for normality and homogeneity prerequisites and then analyzed using the Pearson Correlation statistical test. The results obtained show that the average digital literacy score of students is 105.1, including the high category, and the average student environmental literacy score is 279.7, included in the medium category. The high level of digital literacy will make students more critical in accessing technology and digital media. Digital literacy includes the process of finding, using multiple sources, evaluating, and using information to produce original products, with the maximum application of digital literacy, which is expected to support students’ environmental literacy in providing knowledge, understanding, and building an attitude of caring for the environment. The data obtained shows that there is a positive relationship between digital literacy and environmental literacy.
