Power Consumption (PC) algorithms for 5G communications are cutting-edge technology revolutionizing how our modern world communicates and operates. These algorithms help reduce PC and enable mobile devices to consume far less energy while maintaining high connection speeds. However, by reducing the amount of energy required for communication, these algorithms can significantly extend device battery life. By optimizing Internet connection speeds, users can also consistently experience faster web downloads and fewer macro outages. This revolutionary technology has opened up countless new possibilities for the future of communications and data networks. This study shows that various algorithms, including machine learning, reinforcement learning, and heuristic algorithms, can be used to optimize PC in 5G networks.

As in the binary case, ternary bent functions are defined as most non-linear ternary functions meaning that they are at the largest possible Hamming distance from affine ternary functions. It is therefore interesting to observe that some ternary bent functions can be constructed as various combinations of linear ternary functions. By starting from the combination of linear functions corresponding to the basic ternary bent functions the construction of different other ternary bent functions can be performed by the application of different combinations of FFT-like permutation matrices for ternary functions.

The study clarified spatial single mode laser interaction with measured pulse based parabolic index multimode fiber. Peak power level margin, maximum/minimum signal amplitude margin after parabolic index multimode fiber are measured with core radius of 25 μm, cladding thickness of 10 μm, refractive index peak of 1.4142, length of 300 m, and refractive index step of 1%. Maximum signal power margin against spectral frequency after PIN light detector based parabolic fiber properties is tested under the same operating parameters. The signal power amplitude/power within parabolic index multimode fiber is also measured based on variations of fiber lengths and relative refractive index step. The study implies the multimode graded index fibers with parabolic or near parabolic index profile cores have transmission bandwidths than other multimode fibers. © 2022 Walter de Gruyter GmbH, Berlin/Boston.

Effective role of optical duobinary transmitter with optical coherent quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) receiver based on light amplifiers measured is stimulated by using optisystem simulation software version 13. Signal, noise power levels are stimulated after long haul fiber optic range up to 350 km distance. Measured light amplifiers, optical duobinary transmitters and optical QAM receiver are employed to measure the peak signal amplitude power (SAP) and noise signal power for bit rate transmission with 100 Gb/s based 350 km length. Maximum signal power level margin is enhanced with high data rates transmission. © 2022 Walter de Gruyter GmbH, Berlin/Boston.

Learning medium for students in schools are very crucial as it will capture the student interest, thus make them understand about the topic. However, most of the time, students in school are learning in the traditional method, where all notes are obtained from textbooks provided for them. The theory explained in the textbooks make students confuse with what they had learn and the explanations is too details. This situation will affect the interest of students to study. With the growing of technology in almost every domain, sector, and industry revolution 4.0, mobile apps had become part of our life where the benefit of it also can be extend to the classroom. Thus, the use of mobile apps in education has several benefits by providing intuitive learning and attractive platforms. This research addresses the needs of mobile applications in learning environment. It will focus on development of a mobile apps for learning chemistry. This paper will consider the case study for a local secondary school in Malaysia. Usability test and Functionality test will be conducted to evaluate the function of the mobile apps. The methodology used to develop the mobile learning application is Mobile Application Development Life Cycle (MADLC) Model. The result form this research had shown that, mobile apps can help school students understanding the theory of specific topics in chemistry subject. Thus, mobile apps can be one of the learning tools, providing intuitive learning and attractive platforms, for students in school, which not only depending on their textbooks. © 2020 IEEE.

Development of robust quantum control has been challenging and there are numerous obstacles to applying classical robust control to quantum system including bilinearity, marginal stability, state preparation errors, nonlinear figures of merit. The requirement of marginal stability, while not satisfied for closed quantum systems, can be satisfied for open quantum systems where Lindbladian behavior leads to non-unitary evolution, and allows for nonzero classical stability margins, but it remains difficult to extract physical insight when classical robust control tools are applied to these systems. We consider a straightforward example of the entanglement between two qubits dissipatively coupled to a lossy cavity and analyze it using the classical stability margin and structured perturbations. We attempt, where possible, to extract physical insight from these analyses. Our aim is to highlight where classical robust control can assist in the analysis of quantum systems and identify areas where more work needs to be done to develop specific methods for quantum robust control.

Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) is a subpart from mobile Ad-hoc networks (MANETs). The main idea from VANETs is to establish communication between vehicles for the safety of the people. However, mobility of vehicles appears to be the main challenge in VANETs. High speed of vehicles causes topology changed that results in an unstable network. Therefore, clustering is used to reduce the effect of vehicle mobility by combining vehicles in a group called cluster. Network stability is based on clusters stability. Therefore, most of the authors focused on increasing cluster stability to enhance the network. Nevertheless, increasing the number of the cluster in the network affects the network performance negatively. This paper proposes a new method called Hybrid Cluster-Head Election (HCHE) to reduce the number of the cluster in the network to increase network performance. Performance of the proposed method was evaluated through simulation by utilising real-time datasets. Arduino, GPS and external antennas were used to collect real GPS locations from Batu Pahat City - Johor - Malaysia. Overall, the proposed method resulted high performance in the reduction ratio of the number of cluster head compared to other recent methods. The proposed method successfully reduced the number of cluster heads by 30%.

E-learning is a system or concept of education or learning process that utilizes information technology in the teaching and learning process anywhere and anytime. E-learning is widely applied in various fields of science. In this study, we draw scientific efforts on e-learning and entrepreneurship from publications in the Scopus database. We reviewed 218 academic documents published over the last 10 years, from 2011 to 2020. Our method is a global bibliometric analysis by visualizing connected networks using Vosviewer. The method used consists of five stages: determining search keywords, initial search results, refinement of search results, initial compilation, and data analysis. We researched several countries, affiliations, authors, subject areas, to types of publications that have relations in this field. Among the most published and indexed articles by Scopus, papers published by researchers in the China have the highest number of publications is 36 academic documents, followed by United States 18 academic publications, and Italy with 16 academic publications. The results showed that it had a limited impact, and through visualization, the network presented research gaps that future researchers should fill. The processed data shows the pattern and trend of increasing the number of international publications on E-learning in the field of entrepreneurship indexed by Scopus. Finally, we address the limitations of this study. © 2021 IEEE.

A key focus in smart grid research, especially within emerging distribution frameworks, is the effective management of energy resources. The proposed approach employs a multi-agent system to manage energy resources in interconnected smart buildings. The goal is to enhance resilience by determining the energy available for consumption or storage from the source by generating agent, adjusting energy usage in response to grid cost by load agent, and optimizing the supply-and-demand dynamic by storing surplus power during peak hours and discharging it during off-peak hours by storage agent. A MATLAB simulation-based model was developed to analyze five different cases, resulting in the proposed scheme. During off-peak hours, grid dependence decreases by 65.5 %, by 73.49 % during mid-peak hours, and by 85.9 % during peak hours, compared to the base case. When comparing case 3 to the base scenario, the share of energy imported by buildings from the main grid during off-peak, mid-peak, and peak hours is reduced to 69.8 %, 76.51 %, and 89.39 %, respectively, following the implementation of the deregulated market system. This paper presented a genetic algorithm in case 4 to optimize consumption patterns to minimize costs and achieve a 30 % reduction in consumption during peak hours. The resulting consumption decreases peak-hour grid imports by 85.4 % and 96.1 % for building 1 and building 3, respectively, compared to the base case. The findings of this study are useful in understanding the prospects of transforming the energy landscape through proper energy management and enabling a competitive energy market structure.

Networked micro-grid topologies are important for several reasons. First, they make it possible to connect decentralized energy sources like solar PV installations, micro- and mini-scale wind turbines, etc., to the main power grid. This has the potential to lessen the grid's reliance on fossil fuels while also improving its efficiency and dependability. Second, micro-grids can provide a level of resilience to the grid, as they can operate independently during power outages or other disruptions. This can be particularly important in disaster-prone areas or for critical infrastructure such as hospitals or emergency services. The problems that arise from managing the current or conventional power grid can be alleviated, in part, with the use of TEM. This study will introduce TEM and discuss its usefulness in several contexts, including the energy market, grid design, and functioning. Also, discuss the various existing power generation players involved in the development of market structure frameworks. This study concludes and highlights the significant role and effectiveness of energy system schemes for power exchange networked management systems. In addition, to the future perspective and power demand, attention to the de-centralized micro-grid model makes a comparison to the centralized and partially de-centralized topologies based on the Pros and Cons of the present study. In summary, networked micro-grid topologies play a crucial role in improving grid efficiency and dependability, ensuring continued service during blackouts, and fostering the widespread use of renewable energy sources. © 2024
