Due to the rapid growth of telemedicine and healthcare services,color medical image security applications have been expanded *** this paper,an asymmetric PTFrFT(Phase Truncated Fractional Fourier Transform)-based color medical image cryptosystem is *** different phases in the fractional Fourier and output planes are provided as deciphering ***,the ciphering keys will not be employed for the deciphering ***,the introduced PTFrFT algorithm comprises asymmetric ciphering and deciphering processes in contrast to the traditional optical symmetric OSH(Optical Scanning Holography)and DRPE(Double Random Phase Encoding)*** of the principal impacts of the introduced asymmetric cryptosystem is that it eliminates the onedimensionality aspects of the related symmetric cryptosystems due to its remarkable feature of phase nonlinear truncation *** comparisons on various colormedical images are examined and analyzed to substantiate the cryptosystem *** achieved experimental outcomes ensure that the introduced cryptosystem is robust and *** has terrific cryptography performance compared to conventional cryptography algorithms,even in the presence of noise and severe channel attacks.

In developing countries,medical diagnosis is expensive and time ***,automatic diagnosis can be a good cheap *** task can be performed with artificial intelligence tools such as deep Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs).These tools can be used on medical images to speed up the diagnosis process and save the efforts of *** deep CNNs allow direct learning from the medical ***,the accessibility of classified data is still the largest challenge,particularly in the field of medical *** learning can deliver an effective and promising solution by transferring knowledge from universal object detection CNNs to medical image ***,because of the inhomogeneity and enormous overlap in intensity between medical images in terms of features in the diagnosis of Pneumonia and COVID-19,transfer learning is not usually a robust ***-Image Super-Resolution(SISR)can facilitate learning to enhance computer vision functions,apart from enhancing perceptual image ***,it helps in showing the main features of *** by the challenging dilemma of Pneumonia and COVID-19 diagnosis,this paper introduces a hybrid CNN model,namely SIGTra,to generate super-resolution versions of X-ray and CT *** depends on aGenerative Adversarial Network(GAN)for the super-resolution reconstruction ***,Transfer learning with CNN(TCNN)is adopted for the classification of *** different categories of chest X-ray and CT images can be classified with the proposed model.A comparison study is presented between the proposed SIGTra model and the other relatedCNNmodels for COVID-19 detection in terms of precision,sensitivity,and accuracy.

This paper proposed the design and analysis of the microwave sensor (MS) in line with the microstrip band stop filter (MBSF). The research includes the measurement of alcohol concentrations ranging from 0 to 55%. The measurement was conducted using a network analyzer operating from 100 kHz to 4.5 GHz. The measurements were the insertion loss (S21). The obtained results indicated differences in frequency shifts. The results of the frequency values were observed to be 0, 0.06, 0.14, 0.17, 0.21, 0.23, 0.25, 0.27, and 0.31 GHz, respectively. The percentage correlation between the frequency shift in the insertion loss and frequency was evident, even after adjusting the range of the tested samples. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper is concerned with a vital topic in image processing:color image forgery detection. The development of computing capabilitieshas led to a breakthrough in hacking and forgery attacks on signal, image,and data communicated over networks. Hence, there is an urgent need fordeveloping efficient image forgery detection algorithms. Two main types offorgery are considered in this paper: splicing and copy-move. Splicing isperformed by inserting a part of an image into another image. On the otherhand, copy-move forgery is performed by copying a part of the image intoanother position in the same image. The proposed approach for splicingdetection is based on the assumption that illumination between the originaland tampered images is different. To detect the difference between the originaland tampered images, the homomorphic transform separates the illuminationcomponent from the reflectance component. The illumination histogramderivative is used for detecting the difference in illumination, and henceforgery detection is accomplished. Prior to performing the forgery detectionprocess, some pre-processing techniques, including histogram equalization,histogram matching, high-pass filtering, homomorphic enhancement, andsingle image super-resolution, are introduced to reinforce the details andchanges between the original and embedded sections. The proposed approachfor copy-move forgery detection is performed with the Speeded Up RobustFeatures (SURF) algorithm, which extracts feature points and feature vectors. Searching for the copied partition is accomplished through matchingwith Euclidian distance and hierarchical clustering. In addition, some preprocessing methods are used with the SURF algorithm, such as histogramequalization and single-mage super-resolution. Simulation results proved thefeasibility and the robustness of the pre-processing step in homomorphicdetection and SURF detection algorithms for splicing and copy-move forgerydetection, respectively.

Performance prediction is a tool that may help to understand the students' behaviors and challenges for their overall academic growth. Though the whole teaching pedagogy has enormous hills and valleys and cannot be clubbed together, some data mining and machine learning studies can be done to recapitulate the students' clusters according to their mindsets and capabilities. Student result prediction is tremendously important because student performance is the first step that helps in selecting electives for their advanced learning and placements too. The internal exams are the midterm evaluations of the student that help a teacher in understanding the level of individual students in the class. These marks obtained by the students as internal marks can forecast their result in the final exam having the highest weightage of the subject. In this proposed work, authors are figuring out the student's probability of passing the exam using a logistic regression-based machine learning algorithm. This work may help recommend the formation of different clusters for slow, average, and high-level learners, so that teachers may plan their attention according to the exact caliber of their audience. The study can be implemented in any centralized examination system to predict the final results based on the internal classroom performance exams. This study is carried out by proposing a sigmoid function-based hypothesis solved with logistic regression with three performance exams. These performance exams imply the development of three input variables-based algorithms for the proposed study. © 2024 IEEE.

Authentication of the digital image has much attention for the digital *** image authentication can be verified with image watermarking and image encryption *** schemes are widely used to protect images against forgery attacks,and they are useful for protecting copyright and rightful *** on the desirable applications,several image encryption and watermarking schemes have been proposed to moderate this *** framework presents a new scheme that combines a Walsh Hadamard Transform(WHT)-based image watermarking scheme with an image encryption scheme based on Double Random Phase Encoding(DRPE).First,on the sender side,the secret medical image is encrypted using *** the encrypted image is watermarking based on *** combination between watermarking and encryption increases the security and robustness of transmitting an *** performance evaluation of the proposed scheme is obtained by testing Structural Similarity Index(SSIM),Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR),Normalized cross-correlation(NC),and Feature Similarity Index(FSIM).

This paper introduces a structured approach for creating node signature graphs in energy graph-based visualization for industrial systems, focusing on anomaly detection. It examines the relationship between graph cardinality and the singular value decomposition analysis applied in the energy graph-based visualization method. The results reveal a trade-of between graph complexity and singular value resolution. The study highlights how graph structure affects energy flow monitoring and anomaly detection. It notably enables fault detection in components not represented as nodes, enhancing the methodology in energy-based system monitoring.

We perform statistical characterization of the wireless channel between the low-power transmitter and the receiver moving along the straight path in laboratory conditions. Our aim is to process the measurement results of the signal level variations and propose a model of fading suitable for analytical analysis. In addition, we will determine the appropriate parameter values for the proposed model that describes the statistics of signal intensity with random changes. Based on the measured values, in addition to the first order statistical characteristics, we will determine the second order characteristics, such as level crossing rate and average fade duration. These values are important in estimating the probability of error and ergodic capacity, as well as in the adequate design of the interleaver and error-correction codes. © 2022 International Foundation for Telemetering. Wind turbine blades have been constantly increasing since wind energy becomes a popular renewable energy source to generate electricity. Therefore, the wind sector requires a more efficient and representative characterization of vertical wind speed profiles to assess the potential for a wind power plant site. This paper proposes an alternative characterization of vertical wind speed profiles based on Ward's agglomerative clustering algorithm, including both wind speed module and direction data. This approach gives a more accurate incoming wind speed variation around the rotor swept area, and subsequently, provides a more realistic and complete wind speed vector characterization for vertical profiles. Real wind database collected for 2018 in the Forschungsplattformen in Nordund Ostsee(FINO) research platform is used to assess the methodology. A preliminary pre-processing stage is proposed to select the appropriated number of heights and remove missing or incomplete data. Finally, two locations and four heights are selected, and 561588 wind data are characterized. Results and discussion are also included in this paper. The methodology can be applied to other wind database and locations to characterize vertical wind speed profiles and identify the most likely wind data vector patterns.
