Email classification is essential to the trouble of email and pattern recognition. Nowadays, a number of unsolicited messages are circulated over the internet. While plenty of machine learning techniques are a success in detecting textual primarily based on totally unsolicited mail, this isn’t the case for messages spams, which can without difficulty avoid those textual-unsolicited mail detection systems. This paper proposes the introduction of MOBGOA constructed on the binary version of the GOA algorithm, for multi-objective selection of features purposes and the wrapper approach of selection of features and purpose of the EGOAMLP algorithm utilized this algorithm as the wrapper classifier. Spam assassin dataset was used to validate the performance of the MOB-EGOAMLP. Smart healthcare uses technology such as wearable devices and the Internet of Things to dynamically retrieve/access information, which is important for people who require continuous monitoring, that cannot be provided outside of medical facilities. The paper presents a smart health monitoring wristband that uses Arduino Nano 33 IoT with a built-in gyroscope and accelerometer module as the microcontroller, biomedical sensors like temperature sensor, pulse oximeter, heart rate sensor, and GSM/GPRS module. This prototype is developed for all age communities but can be especially useful to the elderly, people with special needs, and those with chronic illnesses. The hardware system is connected to the Blynk application using the microcontroller's built-in WiFi module. The biomedical sensors measure the readings, and the data are uploaded onto the Blynk application interface for viewing. The Smart Health Monitoring Wristband enables real-time health monitoring to be done remotely and helps in improving emergency response time. © 2022 IEEE.

Food recognition has captivated much significance for health-related appliances. The traditional schemes mainly concern on the classification of food depending on its names and disregards the basic ingredient compositions. However, owing to shortage of datasets with labels of ingredient, the issues on food ingredient recognition (FIR) is often unnoticed. This work develops a new FIR approach, where, textual features, SIFT and deep features are derived. Then, the DBN classifier is deployed for the recognition of food ingredients. To get a precise recognition, tuning the weights of DBN is done via Improved TDO (ITDO) model.

The paper presents a programmable (using a 1-bit signal) digital gate that can operate in one of two OR or AND modes. A circuit of this type can also be implemented using conventional logic gates. However, in the case of the proposed circuit, compared to conventional solutions, the advantage is a much smaller number of transistors necessary for its implementation. Circuit is also much faster than its conventional counterpart. The logic gate was implemented in the 180nm CMOS technology and verified using Hspice simulations. There are many possible applications for this gate, mostly in artificial intelligence and pattern recognition algorithms implemented at the transistor level. © 2023 IEEE.

White blood cells (WBC) or leukocytes are a vital component ofthe blood which forms the immune system, which is accountable to fightforeign elements. The WBC images can be exposed to different data analysisapproaches which categorize different kinds of WBC. Conventionally, laboratorytests are carried out to determine the kind of WBC which is erroneousand time consuming. Recently, deep learning (DL) models can be employedfor automated investigation of WBC images in short duration. Therefore,this paper introduces an Aquila Optimizer with Transfer Learning basedAutomated White Blood Cells Classification (AOTL-WBCC) technique. Thepresented AOTL-WBCC model executes data normalization and data augmentationprocess (rotation and zooming) at the initial stage. In addition,the residual network (ResNet) approach was used for feature extraction inwhich the initial hyperparameter values of the ResNet model are tuned by theuse of AO algorithm. Finally, Bayesian neural network (BNN) classificationtechnique has been implied for the identification of WBC images into distinctclasses. The experimental validation of the AOTL-WBCC methodology isperformed with the help of Kaggle dataset. The experimental results foundthat the AOTL-WBCC model has outperformed other techniques which arebased on image processing and manual feature engineering approaches underdifferent dimensions.

Patient privacy and data protection have been crucial concerns in Ehealthcare systems for many *** modern-day applications,patient data usually holds clinical imagery,records,and other medical ***,the Internet of Medical Things(IoMT),equipped with cloud computing,has come out to be a beneficial paradigm in the healthcare ***,the openness of networks and systems leads to security threats and illegal ***,reliable,fast,and robust security methods need to be developed to ensure the safe exchange of healthcare data generated from various image sensing and other IoMT-driven devices in the IoMT *** paper presents an image protection scheme for healthcare applications to protect patients’medical image data exchanged in IoMT *** proposed security scheme depends on an enhanced 2D discrete chaotic map and allows dynamic substitution based on an optimized highly-nonlinear S-box and diffusion to gain an excellent security *** optimized S-box has an excellent nonlinearity score of *** new image protection scheme is efficient enough to exhibit correlation values less than 0.0022,entropy values higher than 7.999,and NPCR values around 99.6%.To reveal the efficacy of the scheme,several comparison studies are *** comparison studies reveal that the novel protection scheme is robust,efficient,and capable of securing healthcare imagery in IoMT systems.

The recognition of human activities is a crucial problem in computer vision, aiming to determine the activities of individuals or groups based on a sequence of images or videos. While previous studies have demonstrated feasible results in activity recognition from skeletal joints, challenges arise in conditions with occlusion, complex motions, and inaccurate joint estimations, leading to missing joints that can impact the effectiveness of subsequent recognition steps. This paper proposes a method for recovering missing joints in the estimation of human joints from motion in videos and applying it to activity recognition. With the proposed method, the results of the model’s 3D space estimation with missing joints show great potential, although the model still exhibits some weaknesses in challenging scenarios. For the activity recognition task, the recognition results of the DD-Net model on the Mica-Action3D dataset have improved by up to 25%.

This paper presents a study of the segmentation of medical *** paper provides a solid introduction to image enhancement along with image segmentation *** the first step,the morphological operations are employed to ensure image detail protection and *** objective of using morphological operations is to remove the defects in the texture of the ***,the Fuzzy C-Means(FCM)clustering algorithm is used to modify membership function based only on the spatial neighbors instead of the distance between pixels within local spatial neighbors and cluster *** proposed technique is very simple to implement and significantly fast since it is not necessary to compute the distance between the neighboring pixels and the cluster *** is also efficient when dealing with noisy images because of its ability to efficiently improve the membership partition *** results are performed on different medical image ***(Us),X-ray(Mammogram),Computed Tomography(CT),Positron Emission Tomography(PET),and Magnetic Resonance(MR)images are the main medical image modalities used in this *** obtained results illustrate that the proposed technique can achieve good results with a short time and efficient image *** results on different image modalities show that the proposed technique can achieve segmentation accuracies of 98.83%,99.71%,99.83%,99.85%,and 99.74%for Us,Mammogram,CT,PET,and MRI images,respectively.

The present work researches driver drowsiness, which constitutes a huge problem, and can turn into fatal incidents potentially involving the losing of lives, being it while driving in a highway (car, bus, truck, etc.), in the railway, or any other transportation mean (ship, airplane, etc.). Recent technology has been involved in the study of the fatigue behaviour. The purpose of this work is to identify the in-driver’s drowsiness, contributing to get rid of the accidents, mainly during the night, and to ensure better safety in train and on the highways. A camera is used to capture images from the driver, and face detection is executed in real-time to find out the exact position of driver’s face. Here, the blinking of the driver’s eye is under consideration. The fundamental concept lies in the closing of the driver’s eye for a specific duration of time. If the closing time exceeds that certain duration, drowsiness is detected and an alarm is sounded for awareness. Python and OpenCV (using Haarcascade library) are the fundamental programming platforms for sensing the facial attributes. In this work, a cost-effective system for the driver’s drowsiness detection is aimed. Further, the result also indicates the reduction of response and processing time, which is ideal for real time detection. © 2023, ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering.
