In this work, we introduce a new technique for taking a single-secret sharing scheme with a general access structure and transforming it into an individually secure multi-secret sharing scheme where every secret has the same general access structure. To increase the information rate, we consider Individual Security which guarantees zero mutual information with each secret individually, for any unauthorized subsets. Our approach involves identifying which shares of the single-secret sharing scheme can be replaced by linear combinations of messages. When $m-1$ shares are replaced, our scheme obtains an information rate of $m/\vert S\vert$ , where $S$ is the set of shares. This provides an improvement over the information rate of $1/\vert S\vert$ in the original single-secret sharing scheme.

The development of compact and efficient devices has been made possible by the growth of Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) technologies, which has transformed modern electronics. However, there are cautions regarding the security of data, especially when it comes to transmission due to the extensive usage of technology. To address these, this study proposes a modified Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm as a solution for improved security protocol in VLSI systems. The proposed algorithm are intended to support the encryption procedure, increasing stronger production against cryptographic attacks while preserving the system's effectiveness and speed factors that are critical aspects for VLSI applications. Through extensive simulations and testing, the modified AES algorithm demonstrated significant security enhancements the operational efficiency of the VLSI system. The attained outcomes of the proposed work shows that the Modified AES strategy provides a workable technique to protect data in VLSI-based devices while maintaining data communication integrity and confidentiality. The proposed modified AES algorithm demonstrates a significant improvement in performance with a propagation delay of 7 ns, power consumption of 29 mW, and a computational overhead of 62 bits, leading to enhanced efficiency in cryptographic operations. This study highlights that the modified AES algorithm improve security in modern electronic systems and maintain performance.

ADEM-VL: Adaptive and Embedded Fusion for Efficient Vision-Language Tuning

Recent advancements in multimodal fusion have witnessed the remarkable success of vision-language (VL) models, which excel in various multimodal applications such as image captioning and visual question answering. However, building VL models requires substantial hardware resources, where efficiency is restricted by two key factors: the extended input sequence of the language model with vision features demands more computational operations, and a large number of additional learnable parameters increase memory complexity. These challenges significantly restrict the broader applicability of such models. To bridge this gap, we propose ADEM-VL, an efficient vision-language method that tunes VL models based on pretrained large language models (LLMs) by adopting a parameter-free cross-attention mechanism for similarity measurements in multimodal fusion. This approach only requires embedding vision features into the language space, significantly reducing the number of trainable parameters and accelerating both training and inference speeds. To enhance representation learning in fusion module, we introduce an efficient multiscale feature generation scheme that requires only a single forward pass through the vision encoder. Moreover, we propose an adaptive fusion scheme that dynamically discards less relevant visual information for each text token based on its attention score. This ensures that the fusion process prioritizes the most pertinent visual features. With experiments on various tasks including visual question answering, image captioning, and instruction-following, we demonstrate that our framework outperforms existing approaches. Specifically, our method surpasses existing methods by an average accuracy of 0.77% on ScienceQA dataset, with reduced training and inference latency, demonstrating the superiority of our framework. Parkinson Disease is a neurological condition that affects the brain. It causes tremors in the body, hands, and spine, and causes the body to stiffen. A cure or treatment is not yet available, even though the condition is quite advanced. It is only possible to treat a disease when it is in its early stages or onset. As well as cutting the disease's costs, these measures could also save a person's life. In this paper, the study will be on Parkinson disease and the capsule network will be used for classification of the Parkinson disease. Dataset used for the analysis is downloaded from the physionet which consist of *** presented here focuses on applying deep learning models to fully understand Parkinson's disease and identify its earliest signs. In order to assess the model, we look at its precision, recall, and other related metrics. The result section has shown that the capsule network has performed better than the other existing algorithms. © The Electrochemical Society

The data collected by the authorised sensor devices is transferred to the cloud for safe storage. Communication occurs via a secure key management system designed for a decentralised network. Subsequently, it is important to guarantee that only authorised individuals are able to get this data from the cloud. Ensuring user authentication is of utmost importance in resource-constrained IoT devices due to the large number of users accessing sensitive data. The current user authentication methods suffer from accuracy, error rate, and implementation time problems. A novel solution is offered to tackle these challenges by introducing a sophisticated stacked ensemble authentication architecture that utilises cellphones for IoT systems. The suggested authentication approach utilises gait analysis to authenticate individuals by recognising their unique patterns of human movement. A smartphone equipped with an accelerometer and gyroscope sensor is used to gather gait characteristics. The proposed system has two components: preprocessors and classifiers. The preprocessor performs noise reduction and feature extraction. Subsequently, stacked ensemble machine learning classification models, including base and meta classifiers, are used to classify the characteristics, such as linear acceleration, rotation rate, and gravity, for the purpose of user authentication. The accuracy and error rate of the outcomes are compared with the schemes that already exist. The observation indicates that the suggested framework attains a 95% accuracy rate, a lower error rate, and optimised execution time.

This paper presents a robust multi-stage security solution based on fusion,encryption,and watermarking processes to transmit color healthcare images,*** presented solution depends on the features of discrete cosine transform(DCT),lifting wavelet transform(LWT),and singular value decomposition(SVD).The primary objective of this proposed solution is to ensure robustness for the color medical watermarked images against transmission *** watermark embedding,the host color medical image is transformed into four sub-bands by employing three stages of *** resulting low-frequency sub-band is then transformed by employing three stages of DCT followed by SVD ***,a fusion process is used for combining different watermarks into a single watermark *** single fused image is then ciphered using Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid(DNA)encryption to strengthen the ***,the DNA-ciphered fused watermark is embedded in the host medical image by applying the suggested watermarking technique to obtain the watermarked *** main contribution of this work is embedding multiple watermarks to prevent identity *** the presence of different multimedia attacks,several simulation tests on different colormedical images have been *** results prove that the proposed security solution achieves a decent imperceptibility quality with high Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR)values and high correlation between the extracted and original watermark ***,the watermark image extraction process succeeds in achieving high efficiency in the presence of attacks compared with related works.

This paper presents a performance analysis of the Age of Information ( $A$ oI) in full-duplex (FD) cooperative (C) non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) integrated with simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (FD-C-SWIPT-NOMA). Particularly, approximated closed-form expressions for the average block error rate (BLER) are derived for the proposed scheme and validated by Monte Carlo simulations. Based on the derived expressions of the average BLER, the expected weighted sum of AoI (EWSAoI) is obtained for the proposed scheme. Additionally, the proposed scheme is compared with other baseline schemes such as orthogonal multiple access (OMA), NOMA, and half duplex (HD) cooperative SWIPT NOMA schemes in terms of EWSAoI. Finally, the effect of variable power allocation, distances, and residual self-interference (RSI) on the AoI is analysed and simulation results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme compared to baseline schemes in terms of the EWSAoI.

This paper delves into the challenges of binary classification using imbalanced datasets, particularly when instances of interest are infrequent. It explores a comprehensive approach that integrates Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), and Variational Autoencoders (VAEs) to enhance classification outcomes. Traditional classification models tend to favor the majority class, while the impact of imbalanced misclassification costs is often overlooked. The integration of SMOTE, GANs, and VAEs in binary classification, or SMOTE-GAN-VAE, addresses these challenges by generating synthetic instances, refining data representations, and capturing latent features. To evaluate the effectiveness of various data generation methods, a credit card fraud dataset is used. The performance metrics considered include F0.5-score, F1-score, and F2-score, which account for both precision and recall. The results indicate that SMOTE-GAN-VAE outperforms individual methods, such as SMOTE, GANs, and VAEs, demonstrating its potential to enhance data representation and classification accuracy, and outperformed the β- VAE filtered approach employed in previous literature.
