This study presents the fabrication process of a printed antenna on a FR-4 substrate with accurate measurements of 25×37×1 mm 3 . The antenna design, known for its simplicity, has four semicircles with four small square patches at each end. In addition, it includes two rectangular patches that are fitted with pin diode switches in order to enable the ability to operate in two different frequency bands. The antenna's ground has a carefully placed opening. The antenna being examined demonstrates resonance at both the frequencies of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with reflection coefficients of -19.6 dB and -16.5 dB correspondingly. The VSWR for both working frequencies is below 2, satisfying the requirements of Bluetooth and WLAN applications. The tiny size and creative design elements of this antenna allow for versatility and adaptation in many wireless communication systems.

In this paper, a reconfigurable digital modulation leaky-wave antenna (LWA) is proposed. This antenna does not require additional ADC/DAC modules and mixing circuits, which simplifies the antenna structure design. By introducing diodes, the proposed antenna realizes digital beam scanning and digital modulation of the leaky-wave. By inputting different digital codes, the multi-beam switching functionality is achieved, thereby realizing the purpose of beam reconfigurability. A low-cost and easy-to-manufacture metasurface radiator is fabricated, which can achieve the leaky-wave radiation effect. In summary, the proposed antenna is a promising candidate for realizing beam reconfigurability in future intelligent wireless communications.

The paper discusses the integration and use of generative artificial intelligence technologies in education. Generative AI, such as OpenAI, in particular the GPT model, has fundamentally changed the way humans interact with machines. Advanced technologies in the field of generative AI in education are mostly used to personalize learning experiences by dynamically customizing learning materials according to the needs of learners, thus enabling the improvement of outcomes. This article explores the use of generative AI tools with the aim of assessing how useful students perceive these tools to be. The findings show mixed receptivity from users, highlighting the critical balance in using innovative AI capabilities through AI.

This paper proposes a miniaturized ultra-wideband antenna with multi-mode operation, designed with a coplanar waveguide (CPW) feed to achieve compact dimensions. The antenna's bandwidth is significantly enhanced by using the integration of stubs and strategic cutouts, while circular polarization is introduced to improve transmission and reception performance. Notably, the antenna supports Global Positioning System (GPS), with its right-hand circular polarization (RHCP) meeting satellite positioning requirements. The proposed design achieves an impedance bandwidth of 1.08 GHz to 2.62 GHz (|S 11 | ⩽-6 dB, 84.86%) and an axial ratio (AR) bandwidth (AR<3 dB) from 1.5 GHz to 2.27 GHz (40.84%). With the characteristics of a low profile, high gain, wide bandwidth, and high radiation efficiency, this antenna is well-suited for applications in GPS positioning, satellite communication, LTE and WiFi frequency bands.

The paper outlines the divergence of beam and operating wavelength bands effects on free-space optics communication channels in local access networks. The max Q factor and min bit error rate are measured based on the divergence of beam and operating wavelength bands variations. The signal is tested also at the receiver side by using an optical power meter visualizer at various operating signal wavelength bands and under the optimum values of the divergence of the beam. Deep learning is a progressive new field of artificial intelligence that has drastically changed the landscape of technology over the last few years. It has enabled the creation of clever packages, including self-using motors, facial recognition, natural language processing, and others. It has also affected information science, with deep getting to know presenting a new set of tools to system and examine information. This paper presents a low-profile broadband wide-beam directional circularly polarized (CP) antenna based on crossed dipoles. The design consists of two sets of crossed dipoles, each connected to the inner and outer conductors of a coaxial line. Each dipole set features two bowtie-shaped patches linked by a vacant-quarter ring, whose circumference equals a quarter of the center wavelength. This ring introduces a 90-degree phase shift, enabling circularly polarized radiation. To enhance performance, four parasitic elements are strategically placed at the corners. The parasitic patches contribute to bandwidth expansion, while the vertical parasitic plates improve beamwidth coverage. Simulation results demonstrate that the antenna achieves good |S11| and axial ratio performance within the 1.2-2.1 GHz range. Additionally, the half-power beamwidth (HPBW) is significantly improved compared to designs without vertical parasitic plates, highlighting its strong potential for future wireless communication applications.

This study introduces a unique cancelable face recognition technique that depends on adaptive filters and quaternion mathematics. The whale optimization is also applied to determine the optimal parameter settings for best performance. The primary concept of the suggested model revolves around the concealment of facial characteristics before their utilization in the face recognition process. The primary aim of this procedure is to guarantee the confidentiality of users' personal information throughout the enrollment and verification stages of the biometric system, particularly when the database is compromised and the stored biometric templates are altered. In this context, the color facial image is utilized to construct a quaternion. After that, a mask image is employed in a separate quaternion. The cancelable templates are obtained by using the input and mask images represented in quaternion format and applying an adaptive filter on both of them. This process involves preserving the weights of the adaptive filter. Investigation of the suggested tehnique performance demonstrates that the obtained templates lead to low (EER) and a large Area under the ROC curve.

Memristors have proven since their discovery to play a very important role as artificial synapses in the implementation of artificial neural networks. Just as biological synapses, memristors can significantly influence the behaviors of the neural network. A non-polynomial memristor is used in this work to investigate the memristive synaptic weight effect on the dynamics of a simplified Rulkov neuron. The model is first introduced from where theoretical analyses show the system’s ability to develop regular and irregular behaviors. Analysis methods such as two parameter charts, bifurcation diagrams and maximum Lyapunov exponents (MLE) are then used to study the dynamics of the proposed Rulkov model. The numerical results show that the memristive synaptic weight Rulkov neuron model can exhibit self-excited and hidden firings. Furthermore, the system can undergo interesting offset boosting dynamics and antimonotonicity features (i.e., bubble bifurcations) for some system parameters. To corroborate the computational findings, the proposed model is implemented on an Arduino Due microcontroller board, from where the experimental results are seen to be in agreement with the obtained numerical results.
