The fifth-generation (5G) remote environment will be fundamental for a horde of new applications dependent on precise area mindfulness and other logical data. The present work researches driver drowsiness, which constitutes a huge problem, and can turn into fatal incidents potentially involving the losing of lives, being it while driving in a highway (car, bus, truck, etc.), in the railway, or any other transportation mean (ship, airplane, etc.). Recent technology has been involved in the study of the fatigue behaviour. The purpose of this work is to identify the in-driver’s drowsiness, contributing to get rid of the accidents, mainly during the night, and to ensure better safety in train and on the highways. A camera is used to capture images from the driver, and face detection is executed in real-time to find out the exact position of driver’s face. Here, the blinking of the driver’s eye is under consideration. The fundamental concept lies in the closing of the driver’s eye for a specific duration of time. If the closing time exceeds that certain duration, drowsiness is detected and an alarm is sounded for awareness. Python and OpenCV (using Haarcascade library) are the fundamental programming platforms for sensing the facial attributes. In this work, a cost-effective system for the driver’s drowsiness detection is aimed. Further, the result also indicates the reduction of response and processing time, which is ideal for real time detection. © 2023, ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering.

Healthcare quality assessment and identification of opportunities for improvement are crucially facilitated by patient satisfaction surveys. Traditional approaches sometimes face difficulties in handling substantial amounts of written comments and obtaining real useful data. It presents a new method that combines cloud computing with Natural Language Processing (NLP) approaches to enhance the analysis of patient satisfaction data. By using cloud platforms, it can effectively manage large datasets and provide scalable, cost-efficient processing. The use of NLP methods, such as text mining and sentiment analysis, enables the conversion of unstructured input into structured insights, thereby uncovering the fundamental patient feelings and patterns. This connection enables the analysis of data in real-time also improving the accuracy of interpreting feedback and facilitating fast enhancements in healthcare services. Future research will prioritise the improvement of NLP algorithms and the investigation of supplementary cloud-based technologies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of patient satisfaction analysis to improved patient care and experience. © 2024 IEEE.

One of the primary technologies necessary for the upcoming sixth generation of communication networks (6G) is massive multi-input multi-output, or MIMO. However, enormous MIMO presents a challenge in reducing energy use and the sum rate demand due to the power use of the several radio frequencies (RF) links in 6G technology. Therefore, this research presented a novel Deformable Graph Neural Network (DGNN) with Tyrannosaurus optimization for the optimal power distribution that maximized the sum rate and energy efficiency of the MIMO NOMA system. The adaptive mechanism of DGNN enables more accurate and efficient power allocation decisions. The integrated Tyrannosaurus optimization ensures the model converging on optimal power allocation strategies that maximize both sum rate and energy efficiency. The efficiency of the recommended model is compared in regarding sum rate and Energy Efficiency (EE) with the some of the recent approaches. The proposed method gained the greater sum rate and EE outperforming all other compared models. © 2024 IEEE.

Corona Virus Disease-2019(COVID-19)continues to spread rapidly in the *** has dramatically affected daily lives,public health,and the world *** paper presents a segmentation and classification framework of COVID-19 images based on deep ***,the classification process is employed to discriminate between COVID-19,non-COVID,and pneumonia by Convolutional Neural Network(CNN).Then,the segmentation process is applied for COVID-19 and pneumonia CT ***,the resulting segmented images are used to identify the infected region,whether COVID-19 or *** proposed CNN consists of four Convolutional(Conv)layers,four batch normalization layers,and four Rectified Linear Units(ReLUs).The sizes of Conv layer used filters are 8,16,32,and *** maxpooling layers are employed with a stride of 2 and a 2×2 *** classification layer comprises a Fully-Connected(FC)layer and a soft-max activation function used to take the classification decision.A novel saliencybased region detection algorithm and an active contour segmentation strategy are applied to segment COVID-19 and pneumonia CT *** acquired findings substantiate the efficacy of the proposed framework for helping the specialists in automated diagnosis applications.

Cancelable biometrics are required in most remote access applications that need an authentication stage such as the cloud and Internet of Things(IoT)*** objective of using cancelable biometrics is to save the original ones from hacking attempts.A generalized algorithm to generate cancelable templates that is applicable on both single and multiple biometrics is proposed in this paper to be considered for cloud and IoT *** original biometric is blurred with two co-prime ***,it can be recovered as the Greatest Common Divisor(GCD)between its two blurred *** changes if induced in the biometric image prior to processing with co-prime operators prevents the recovery of the original biometric image through a GCD ***,the ability to change cancelable templates is guaranteed,since the owner of the biometric can pre-determine and manage the minimal change induced in the biometric ***,we test the utility of the proposed algorithm in the single-and multi-biometric *** multi-biometric scenario depends on compressing face,fingerprint,iris,and palm print images,simultaneously,to generate the cancelable *** metrics such as Equal Error Rate(EER)and Area and Receiver Operator Characteristic curve(AROC)are *** results on single-and multi-biometric scenarios show high AROC values up to 99.59%,and low EER values down to 0.04%.

Trust is essential in the constantly developing environment of online social networks. The Nexus Terroism Impact and Intro Trust facilitate the communication, decision-making, and maintenance of digital communities among individuals. Trust-based Learning with Classification Principle (TLCP) is introduced in this research to improve the assessment of trust in social networks. To ascertain its efficacy, our proposed methodology undergoes a 10-fold cross-validation against the Trust Assessment Methodology (TAM). The traditional Trust Assessment Model (TAM) evaluates and regulates trust in Internet social networking. This method incorporates trust assessment factors to generate a user dependability judgment that is both discriminatory and dynamic. The Trustworthy Account Management (TAM) challenge is designed to enhance digital trust by addressing disinformation, deception, and hostile conduct. The TLCP is able to accurately evaluate trust by utilizing reputation scoring, community analysis, and user behavior metrics. Trust levels are dynamically adjusted as a result of the identification of trustworthy behavioral patterns and danger indicators by machine learning algorithms and social media data. This research examines the connections between trust management and digital interactions and suggests a general solution to alleviate specific trust evaluation issues across online social networks. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a base station antenna with dual-band and dual-polarization for 5G mobile communication. It consists of a pair of bowtie and bent stripline cross dipoles to obtain two linear polarizations (±45°). The bowtie and bent stripline dipole provide 700MHz and 1800 MHz dual operating frequencies. The antenna depicts an impedance characteristic of about 12% and 15.8% at 775 MHz and 1850 MHz for S11 ≤ -10 dB (+45° polarization) and S22 ≤ -10 dB (-45° polarization). Also, the isolation, which |S12| is about -33 dB and - 30 dB at 775 MHz and 1850 MHz, between the two polarizations in the operating band is provided. The measured peak gain of the antenna is about 1.26 and 4.76 dBi at 775 MHz and 1850 MHz. Moreover, the omnidirectional radiation patterns and dual-polarization over the dual operating bands are obtained. The antenna is proportionally designed for 5G mobile communication base station applications. © 2022 IEEE.

The work is a report on the implementation of interdisciplinary group project classes conducted in accordance with the Project Based Learning approach. The aim of the project was to develop an automated station for measuring the curvature of metallurgical charge and to create its technical documentation. The station is intended to work in cooperation with devices of an automated line for spreading and transporting metallurgical charges, which is a part of the technological line for hot rolling. The task of the station is to identify the curvature value, so that a charge with exceeded parameters does not proceed to the next stage of the process (the goal is significant in terms of eliminating defects). The final outcome of the project was to be a complete technical documentation of the designed station along with the measurement algorithm. Additionally, a laboratory test station and a system design for use in real industrial conditions were developed. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
