In the frame of current research authors has developed a prototype of the Internet of Things. A selection of sensors for monitoring air pollution (CO2, PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10) was made and on its basis a prototype of the IoT (The Internet of Things) network was developed for limiting the access of vehicles in areas of increased air pollution. Results of the application of air pollutant measurement in real life are presented. Results of the experimental part, which were collected in the parking lots of Riga shopping centers and stores - Alfa, Domina, Sāga and Lidl - are summarized. Data were collected for CO2, PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10 pollutants. Results compared, their reasons and potential impact on human health. At the end, it is concluded about the possible development of air quality improvement and control using the created prototype. © 2023 Kaunas University of technology. All rights reserved.

Information the overall performance of underwater fiber optic (UWFO) communique networks is vital for a hit deployment of this technology in an expansion of applications. That allows you to achieve most efficient community overall performance, bandwidth optimization must be hired. This paper examines distinctive bandwidth optimization techniques and how they're used to improve conversation among UWFO elements. The proposed approach utilizes adaptive modulation and coding techniques, as well as advanced error correction coding schemes, to efficiently utilize the available bandwidth and minimize signal degradation. Through extensive simulations and experiments, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in improving network performance, including increased data transfer rates and reduced error rates, compared to traditional methods. Our findings have significant implications for the design and operation of underwater fiber optic communication systems, potentially enhancing their potential for a wide range of applications in marine environments. In the end, several destiny studies guidelines are diagnosed to in addition enhance the overall performance and reliability of UWFO conversation networks. © 2023 IEEE.

Dielectric elastomer actuators (DEAs) have gained an increasing importance in various research applications. In literature the most explored dielectric elastomers (DEs) are silicones and acrylics. As promising alternatives, polyurethanes have been identified due to their inherent higher dielectric constant, higher dielectric strength, and appropriate response behavior. However, polyurethane systems are known to have hygroscopic properties that can lead to changes in the dielectric properties when they are exposed to moisture. In this work, a circular DEA composed of a thermosetting polyurethane film and carbon grease electrodes is exposed to four stabilized levels of relative humidity (RH = 22 %, 36 %, 56 %, 70 %) at a constant temperature of 22 °C. The actuation strain is measured to study the effect of moisture absorption on the DEA performance. In addition, impedance spectroscopy is performed on the DEA to investigate the influence of moisture on its dielectric properties. Impedance, phase angle and dielectric constant of the DEA are evaluated at the respective RH level. The results show a rise in the dielectric constant of 15 % with increasing the humidity from 22 % to 70 %. However, increasing the humidity does not necessarily lead to an increase in actuation strain. © 2024 SPIE.

Over the years, there have been ongoing efforts to use clothing as a vehicle for distributing digital capabilities. Information technology (IT) is being incorporated into garments to enable people to work more quickly. Because of their increasing availability, accessibility, and, most significantly, cost, wireless body area networks (WBANs) will undoubtedly be used in healthcare to enhance medical data utilization. Whether it has to do with post-operative recovery or Monitoring, applications for their function in the medical field are already being looked into. Wearable technology allows users to complete activities more efficiently by enhancing one or more of their senses with artificial information. The system proposes a method that displays critical information for doctors on a particular cloud for data analysis. In this concept, sensors are attached to someone's coat to collect real-time data. This data is analyzed, uploaded to the cloud using IoT Medium, and notified in the case of an alarming condition. The data access to real-time data, a website built into this module, and an alert notification system to warn the hospital and the family if the numbers are abnormal. A live stream is recorded using the camera, while the GPS module tracks the location. The doctor can take the proper step based on the patient's health. © 2023 IEEE.

In parallel and distributed communication networks, task scheduling is essential for attaining the best system performance. Innovative ways that may intelligently distribute computing resources while minimizing energy consumption and maintaining system resilience are required due to the rising need for energy efficiency and fault tolerance. This system, offers a unique approach to job scheduling in parallel and distributed communication networks that integrate genetic algorithms (GA) and machine learning (ML).Using ML approaches, proposed method analyses historical task execution data to discover patterns that may be applied to task execution time prediction in various computing systems. As a result, this can assign tasks to resources effectively, maximize resource usage, and cut down on execution time as a whole. In addition, using predefined objectives like energy efficiency and fault tolerance, GA is used to find the best task-resource assignments. This applies resilient computing approaches to the job scheduling procedure to overcome problems with fault tolerance. This prevents the execution of crucial operations from being hampered by system faults or resource shortages by utilizing fault detection and recovery technologies. This system can adapt dynamically to shifting network conditions through the combination of ML, GA, and resilient computing, which raises the entire system's reliability and availability. © 2023 IEEE.

A slot antenna array with low cross-polarization level based on a novel substrate integrated coaxial line (SICL) feeding structure is proposed in this paper. The longitudinal slots are etched on the top layer as the radiation part, thus a broadside radiation characteristic can be achieved. Two sets of SICL are arranged on both sides to feed the quasi-substrate integrated double line (SIDL), and the length of the quasi-SIDL is adjusted to obtain the optimal slot etching scheme. A slot antenna array covering 27.1-27.6 GHz is designed and verified. The simulated results show that the peak gain is more than 8.6 dBi, while the cross-polarization level is better than 43.9 dB. The excellent radiation performance makes it a strong competitor for millimeter-wave (mm-wave) wireless applications. © 2023 IEEE.

The process of enhancing electronic circuits in order to improve energy efficiency is currently being made more efficient with the application of artificial intelligence (AI). In this day and age, where energy consumption is a big problem, the exploitation of techniques driven by artificial intelligence has shown to be an indispensable tool in the construction of electronic devices that reduce power consumption without sacrificing performance. This is achieved through the deployment of ways that are driven by artificial intelligence. Within the scope of this, the application of machine learning techniques is being researched for the purpose of analyzing and modifying circuit designs. There are several other variables that are taken into consideration, such as voltage, current, and the specifications of the components. The purpose of this research is to make a significant contribution to the development of electronic systems that are efficient in terms of energy consumption by utilizing circuit optimization that is driven by artificial intelligence capabilities. Because of this, the research will be able to satisfy the growing need for technology that is favourable to the environment. These discoveries not only offer valuable insights into the synergy that exists between artificial intelligence and the design of electronics, but they also pave the way for future improvements in technology that are aware of the amount of energy that is being consumed. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a method for extracting and interpreting information from diverse, unstructured dental literature using advanced AI techniques. By integrating information extraction, ontologies, and knowledge graphs, the approach enhances the efficiency and accuracy of dental data analysis. Named Entity Recognition (NER) and a Large Language Model (LLM) are employed to extract relevant entities and relationships, which are then structured into triples and integrated with a dental ontology to ensure contextual relevance. This enriched ontology supports Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, enabling advanced querying and analysis. The methodology improves the identification and categorization of dental conditions, treatments, and anatomical terms, providing a structured representation of dental knowledge. Knowledge graphs facilitate the representation and analysis of relationships between entities, fostering insightful interpretations and supporting hypothesis generation, thereby enhancing the accessibility and usability of dental knowledge. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach in managing complex dental information, showcasing the benefits of combining Knowledge Representation (KR) with Machine Learning (ML). This research contributes to dental studies by offering a robust framework for extracting and utilizing knowledge from diverse and extensive datasets.

Wireless Body Area Sensor Network(WBASN)is an automated system for remote health monitoring of *** under umbrella of Internet of Things(IoT)is comprised of small Biomedical Sensor Nodes(BSNs)that can communicate with each other without human *** BSNs can be placed on human body or inside the skin of the patients to regularly monitor their vital *** BSNs generate critical data as it is related to patient’s *** data traffic can be classified as Sensitive Data(SD)and Non-sensitive Data(ND)packets based on the value of vital *** data packets have different priority to *** ND packets may tolerate some delay or packet loss whereas,the SD packets required to be delivered on time with minimized packet loss otherwise it can be life threating to the *** this research,we propose a Traffic Priority-aware Medical Data Dissemination(TPMD2)scheme forWBASN to deliver the data packets according to their priority based on the sensitivity of the *** assessment of the proposed scheme is carried out in various *** simulation results of the TPMD2 scheme indicate a significant improvement in packets delivery,transmission delay and energy efficiency in comparison with the existing schemes.
