In the simulation of acupuncture manipulation,it is necessary to accurately capture the information of acupuncture points and particles around ***,a soft tissue modeling method that can accurately track model particles is *** this paper,a soft tissue acupuncture model based on the mass-spring force net is *** is used as the auxiliary model and the SHF model is *** is used to establish a three-layer soft tissue model of skin,fat,and muscle,and a layer of the MSM based force network is covered on the surface of soft tissue to realize the complementary advantages and disadvantages of spherical harmonic function and *** addition,a springback algorithm is designed to simulate the springback phenomenon of soft tissue skin during *** evaluation results show that the soft tissue acupuncture modeling method based on mass-spring force net can effectively simulate the springback phenomenon of soft tissue surface during acupuncture surgery,and has good comprehensive performance in the application of virtual acupuncture surgery simulation.

Effects of densification on untreated and nano-aluminum-oxide impregnated poplar wood

Effects of densification of poplar wood（Populus nigra） impregnated with nano-aluminum oxide（NA） and pre-treated with water vapor for 4 and 6 h were investigated in the present study. Physical and mechanical properties of treated poplar wood were measured according to the ASTM D-143 standard specifications, and then compared with the untreated specimens. Results showed significant improvement in all properties as a result of densification. A 4-h vapor pre-treatment improved effects on both physical and mechanical properties. When the duration of vapor-treatment increased to 6 h, wood polymers degraded to the extent that the improvements due to the vapor pre-treatment decreased substantially, though the final results were still significant improvements compared with the control specimens. High thermal conductivity coefficient of NA slightly but not significantly improved properties. Due to the high spring-back after 15 days,densified poplar is not recommended for applications in which densified wood will be exposed for long periods to high humidity or to direct water.

This study is focused on the effects of electroslag remelting by prefused slag （CaO, Al2O3, and CaF2） on macrostructure and reduction of inclusions in the medical grade of 316LC （316LVM） stainless steel. Analysis of the obtained results indicated that for production of a uniform ingot structure during electroslag remelting, shape and depth of the molten pool should be carefully controlled. High melting rates led to deeper pool depth and interior radial solidification characteristics, while decrease in the melting rates caused more reduction of nonmetallic inclusions. Large shrinkage cavities formed during the conventional casting process in the primary ingots were found to be the cause of the fluctuation in the melting rate, pool depth and extension of equiaxed crystals zone.

Do motorists select safe routes over efficient routes? An empirical study using travel trajectory data

Studies have highlighted the importance of traffic safety concerns in travelers’ mode choices. However, little attention has been given to route choices between safety and efficiency. This study aims to investigate motorists’ safety route choice behavior using vehicle trajectory data collected by the Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system in Changsha, China. A paired scenario comparison (PSC) method is proposed to examine motorists’ safety route choice behaviors by contrasting the choices under two scenarios across a large-scale city area. Specifically, four scenarios are considered, including daytime/nighttime, work/non-work, livelihood/non-livelihood, and short-distance/long-distance travel. Motorists’ route choice preferences are hypothesized to differ between paired scenarios. Motorists’ route choices are depicted by the Group Random Parameters Logit (GRPL) model with a set of route safety and efficiency attributes. Hypotheses are tested through an overall model validation and a series of scenario-specific model validations. Results demonstrate the significance of motorists’ priority of the routes with safety attributes (e.g., fewer intersections, wider roads) during nighttime trips or for non-livelihood purposes. However, evidence for work/non-work and trip distance effects remains inconclusive. This study provides empirical support for safety-oriented route planning and navigation systems.

The cutting simulation of soft tissue is important in virtual *** includes three major challenges in computation:Soft tissue simulation,collision detection,and handling,as well as soft tissue *** order to address the earlier challenges,we propose a virtual cutting system based on the mass-spring *** this system,MSM is utilized to simulate the soft tissue *** stress is introduced to the model for simulating the shrinking effect of soft tissue in ***,a cylinder-based collision detection method is used to supervise the collision between surgical tools and soft ***,we simulate the cutting operation with a three-stage cutting method with swept volume,B´ezier curve,and an algorithm named shortest distance nodes matching *** order to verify the system performance,we carry out three validation experiments on the proposed system:Cutting accuracy experiment,collision detection validation,and practical cutting *** indicate that our system can well perform the shrinking effect of soft tissue in *** system has fast and accurate collision ***,the system can reconstruct smooth incisions vividly.

As the number of sensor network application scenarios continues to grow,the security problems inherent in this approach have become obstacles that hinder its wide ***,it has attracted increasing attention from industry and *** blockchain is based on a distributed network and has the characteristics of non-tampering and traceability of block *** is thus naturally able to solve the security problems of the sensor ***,this paper first analyzes the security risks associated with data storage in the sensor networks,then proposes using blockchain technology to ensure that data storage in the sensor networks is *** the traditional blockchain,the data layer uses a Merkle hash tree to store data;however,the Merkle hash tree cannot provide non-member proof,which makes it unable to resist the attacks of malicious nodes in *** solve this problem,this paper utilizes a cryptographic accumulator rather than a Merkle hash tree to provide both member proof and non-member ***,the number of elements in the existing accumulator is limited and unable to meet the blockchain’s expansion *** paper therefore proposes a new type of unbounded accumulator and provides its definition and security ***,this paper constructs an unbounded accumulator scheme using bilinear pairs and analyzes its performance.

Improving thermal stability and creep resistance by Sc addition in near-αhigh-temperature titanium alloy

High-temperature titanium alloys’thermal stability and creep resistance are significant during service in high *** study systematically investigated the thermal stability and mechanical properties of Ti-6.5A1-2.5Sn-9Zr-0.5Mo-1Nb-1W-0.3Si-xSc(x,0-0.5 wt.%)at 650°*** lamellar secondaryαphase is refined and the formation of Sc_(2)O_(3)is increased with the increasing scandium(Sc)additions,which im-proves the strength of the alloy,while excessive Sc_(2)O_(3)becomes the crack source and deteriorates the *** oxygen content in the matrix is reduced by the interaction between Sc and oxygen,in-hibiting the growth of the Ti3 Al phase and improving the thermal stability of the ***,Sc accelerates the dissolution of the residualβphase and precipitation of fine,diffusely distributed ellip-soidal silicides,which strongly prevents dislocation *** enhancement of creep resistance for the Sc-containing alloy is attributed to the refined lamellar secondaryαphases,Sc_(2)O_(3)particles,Ti3 Al phase,and silicides,especially the precipitated ***,the 0.3 Sc alloy shows optimal ther-mal stability(the plasticity loss rate 17.3%)and creep resistance(steady-state creep rate 4.4×10^(-7) s^(-1)).The investigation results provide new insights into the mechanism and thermal stability improvement in high-temperature titanium alloys modified by rare earth(RE).

In this article, we extend some estimates of the right-hand side of the Hermite-Hadamard type inequality for preinvex functions with fractional *** notion of logarithmically s-Godunova-Levin-preinvex function in second sense is introduced and then a new Herrnite-Hadarnard inequality is derived for the class of logarithmically s-Godunova-Levin-preinvex function.
