In this paper, two fuzzy classification functions of fuzzy c-means for data with tolerance are proposed. First, two clustering algorithms for data with tolerance are introduced. One is based on the standard method and the other is on the entropy-based one. Second, the fuzzy classification function for fuzzy c-means without tolerance is discussed as the solution of a certain optimization problem. Third, two optimization problems are shown so that the solutions are the fuzzy classification function values for fuzzy c-means algorithms with respect to data with tolerance, respectively. Fourth, Karush-Kuhn-Tucker conditions of two objective functions are considered, and two iterative algorithms are proposed for the optimization problems, respectively. Through some numerical examples, the proposed algorithms are discussed.

This paper deals with the analysis of power quality influenced by the one of the biggest power consumers in the Slovak Republic – electrical traction. The adversely effects caused by electrical traction affect the distribution grid, from which the electrical traction is fed throughout the whole Slovak Republic and so they decrease the power quality in this grid. This problem is very actual in these days, because customers often use the electrical appliances that are sensitive to the shape of sinusoidal voltage wave. This paper analyses the results of the power quality measured in H-type substation, which is often used to supply the electrical traction. Some of these measured qualitative parameters were compared and evaluated according to the valid standard EN 50 160. The paper also focuses on the problematics of spreading current and voltage harmonics along the traction lines and to the higher voltage level. Therefore, the simulation model of a traction supply section was created in Matlab. At last, passive series LC filter was added to the created model, in order to eliminate harmonics caused by the traction vehicle.

The envelope fading distribution is derived for the round earth loss maritime radio channel. The propagation environment considered consists of a line of sight (LOS), and from the sea a specular reflection and a diffuse component. The phase difference between LOS and specular component is given by the relative path lengths and the change of phase in the sea reflection. The relative path length changes locally with the vertical movement of a ship-mounted antenna. The height variations are modeled as Normal distributed, resulting in a Normal distributed phase difference. This is an extension of the two-wave diffuse power (TWDP) model in which the phase difference between LOS and specular reflection is modeled as uniformly distributed.

This paper studies the dynamic stress intensity factor (DSIF) at the interface in an adhesive joint under shear loading. Material damage is considered. By introducing the dislocation density function and using the integral transform, the problem is reduced to algebraic equations and can be solved with the collocation dots method in the Laplace domain. Time response of DSIF is calculated with the inverse Laplace integral transform. The results show that the mode Ⅱ DSIF increases with the shear relaxation parameter, shear module and Poisson ratio, while decreases with the swell relaxation parameter. Damage shielding only occurs at the initial stage of crack propagation. The singular index of crack tip is -0.5 and independent on the material parameters, damage conditions of materials, and time. The oscillatory index is controlled by viscoelastic material parameters.
