The field of information security, in general, has seen shifts a traditional approach to an intelligence system. Moreover, an increasing of researchers to focus on propose intelligence systems and framework based on the forensic case studies because of the limitations of traditional methods such as analysis intensive data manually, intelligence visualization to make the evidence more understandable and intelligence system for store data. However, most of these intelligence systems are still facing different limitations. Furthermore, the primary goal of this work analysis popular intelligence system that was used based on forensic. Moreover, propose new algorithms and hybrid model which it's achieved good results in dif-ferent other fields to develop the forensic systems in the future. © 2021

Pollination is an important factor in crop growth, but agricultural fields are currently suffering from the lack of natural pollinators due to a variety of factors. Recently, artificial pollination has been integrated to help solve that severe problem. Robotic pollinators not only can aid farmers by providing more cost-effective and stable methods for pollinating plants but also benefit crop production in environments not suitable for natural pollinators such as greenhouses. Robotic pollination requires precision and autonomy but few systems have addressed both aspects in practice. In this paper, a flexible multi-degrees-of-freedom robot is presented that is capable of precisely pollinating flowers. The robot imitates the effect of wind blowing as a pollination technique. Based on the cultivation restriction, the robot adapts a collision-free motion design to move the end-effector to the blowing position without hitting the crop and the construction of the greenhouses. The proposed robot can navigate and pollinate flowers at any oriented position when tested with artificial flowers in a simulated pollination experiment. © 2024 IEEE.

Birefringent optical elements that work in deep ultraviolet(DUV)region become increasingly important these ***,most of the DUV optical elements have fixed birefringence which is hard to be ***,we invent a birefringence-tunable optical hydrogel with mechano-birefringence effect in the DUV region,based on two-dimensional(2D)low-cobalt-doped *** 2D oxide material has an optical anisotropy factor of 1.5×10^(-11) C^(2)J^(-1) m-1,larger than maximum value obtained previously,leading to an extremely large specific magneto-optical Cotton-Mouton coefficient of 3.9×10^(6) T^(-2) *** extremely large coefficient enables the fabrication of birefringent hydrogel in a small magnetic field with an ultra-low concentration of 2D oxide *** hydrogel can stably and continuously modulate 303 nm DUV light with large phase tunability by varying the strain(compression or stretching)from 0 to 50%.Our work opens the door to design and fabricate new proof-of-concept DUV birefringence-tunable element,as demonstrated by optical hydrogels capable of DUV modulation by mechanical stimuli.

Injuries to the nervous system account for the widespread morbidity,mortality,and discomfort *** nerve guidance conduits(NGCs)offer a promising platform for nerve reconstruction,however,they require extracellular matrix(ECM)-like features to better mimic the in vivo ***,this research was aimed to fabricate heparin/growth factors(GFs)-immobilized artificial *** was covalently immobilized onto aligned electrospun polycapro-lactone/gelatin(PCL/Gel)***,basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)and nerve growth factor(NGF)were preferentially immobilized on heparinized nanofibers;the immobilization efficiency of GFs was found to be 50%with respect to(w.r.t.)their initial loaded *** in vivo implantation of NGCs in a sciatic nerve defect model revealed the successful retention(~10%w.r.t the initial loaded amount)and bioactivity of NGF for up to 5 *** permeability of bovine serum albumin(BSA)from nanofibrous membranes was further assessed and found to be comparable with the commercialized cel-lulose acetate *** bioactivity of NGCs was assessed in a sciatic nerve defect model in rats for short-term(1 week)and long-term(1-month).The NGCs displayed good structural stability and biocompatibility in *** in vivo evaluation revealed the accumulation of host cells into the transplanted *** together;these heparin/GFs-immobilized artificial NGCs may have broad implications for nerve regeneration and related tissue engineering disciplines.

Many Japanese parents live by themselves, and when their children have health problems they often don't have anyone to consult. Each local government in Japan has a pediatric emergency medical telephone consultation service. We developed a system to support the responders of this service. Our system consists of an interface and a chat engine: AI-Brid (Kimura Information technology, Japan) as the interface, and Watson (IBM) for the chat engine. AI-Brid is a hybrid AI search system that combines one-question-and-one-answer and document search, each of which can be performed in the same search window. The administrator trains Watson with possible questions, answers, and document data in advance through AI-Brid. AI-Brid stores the ID, the assumed question, and the answer, and Watson stores the analysis result of the entered assumed question and the ID. The one-question-and-one-answer type includes case examples based on records that contain the questions and the responses to them, while the document search type includes basic knowledge for each case. We have completed construction of a prototype system that is currently in trial use in a real environment. Our ultimate goals are to improve the quality and to unify the responses. © 2023 IEEE.

Output Tracking Control of a Nonlinear System Based on Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Model: Generalized Partial Eigenstructure Assignment Approach

This paper introduces an innovative optimal control approach to achieve output tracking while incorporating H2-performance specifications in a specific class of nonlinear dynamics modeled by the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model (TSFM). The primary innovation lies in extending partial eigenstructure assignment to TSFM-based nonlinear systems within the framework of sliding mode control (SMC). We propose a two-step methodology for designing optimal sliding surface gains. Initially, optimal state feedback gains are computed for each rule consequence containing a linear subsystem, adhering to predetermined eigenvalues and satisfying H2-performance criteria. Subsequently, using a convex combination, the overall state feedback gain is calculated and utilized to design sliding matrix gains. The sliding matrix gains are then determined by strategically combining previously calculated state-feedback gains in a convex optimization problem. We reframe the output tracking strategy as a stabilization problem using a virtual control input and reformulate the optimization task concerning tracking state errors. This process yields state feedback gains, sliding gains, and the formulation of the virtual control input. The effectiveness of our approach is verified through comprehensive simulations, emphasizing its capability in addressing output tracking challenges within nonlinear systems. © 2013 IEEE.

Preliminary study of the effect of hemolysis on platelet aggregation through microscopic observation under physiological shear flow

Hemolysis during mechanical circulatory support has been suggested as a possible trigger for non-hemorrhagic stroke. The purpose of this study was to investigate the hypothesis that slight hemolysis enhances thrombus formation through platelet aggregation under physiological shear stress in humans. Using sodium citrate-treated porcine whole blood from a slaughterhouse, platelet suspensions with a constant platelet density of 20.5 ± 1.3 × 103 cells/μL with three plasma free hemoglobin (pfHb) concentrations (44.9 ± 15.0, 74.3 ± 18.3, and 130.6 ± 20.3 mg/dL) were prepared through centrifugation. These suspensions were exposed to a physiological shear rate up to 200 (1/s) using our custom-built shear chamber for 0, 5, 10, and 15 min. After exposure to each shear load, microscopic image acquisition was performed and the images were analyzed to count the number of aggregated platelets. It was observed that platelet aggregation increased in an exposure timedependent manner in all suspension fluids. In addition, the samples with the highest mean pfHb concentration of 130.6 mg/dL showed 1.23-and 1.28-fold numerically greater aggregation than those with a pfHb concentration of 74.3 and 44.9 mg/dL, respectively. The Wilcoxon signed-rank sum test showed p-values of 0.028 and 0.047 between 5 vs. 10 min and 10 vs. 15 min under the lowest pfHb concentration, respectively, and a p-value of 0.028 between 0 vs. 5 min under the medium pfHb concentration. However, there was no significant difference in aggregation according to pfHb concentration at the same exposure time. From these results, our data suggest that hemolysis might enhance platelet aggregation under physiological shear conditions. © Japanese Society of Biorheology 2021.

The super-twisting sliding mode controller (STSMC) is considered one of the simplest and easiest to implement nonlinear controls, as it can be easily applied in industrial systems. Using this controller leads to reducing the phenomenon of chatter and significantly increasing the durability of the systems. However, this controller has several drawbacks and problems, as its use does not lead to improving the systems as required. In this study, an idea has been proposed based on the use of neural networks in order to overcome the defects and problems of the STSMC strategy. This proposed strategy is used to increase the durability and improve the characteristics of an energy system based on wind turbines using a dual induction generator. The latter is controlled by direct power control (DPC). The proposed controller was used to control energies, where the pulse width modulation strategy was used to convert voltage reference values into pulses to operate the rotor side converter. Therefore, simplicity, durability, outstanding performance, ease of implementation, few gains, and low cost are among the most prominent features of the proposed intelligent STSMC technique and control. The MATLAB environment was used first to implement the proposed energy system under different working conditions using variable wind speed, where the proposed controller was compared with the performance of the STSMC technique. The proposed intelligent STSMC technique was implemented experimentally using the dSPACE 1104 Card to verify the performance and the validity of the simulated results. The experimental results show the effectiveness and ability of the proposed controller to improve the characteristics of the DPC strategy and the energy system as a whole. © 2013 IEEE.

Our previous research showed that emulating dendritic neuron structure effectively addresses orientation detection challenges in learning tasks, reducing both learning time and costs compared to alternative neural network approaches. Our simulation model incorporates an On-Off Response mechanism in bipolar cells (BCs) and horizontal cells (HCs) for processing grayscale input images. To overcome limitations with single-channel input, we introduce color-selective cells. By integrating these cells, we enhance and select outputs of local orientation detection dendritic neurons, generating specific feature maps. These feature maps are generated using a biologically-inspired model that mimics the mechanism of color-selective cells. Additionally, global neurons are used to capture overall image features by aggregating outputs from local dendritic neurons. Our system utilizes backpropagation to update parameters of local orientation detection dendritic neurons. Furthermore, we integrate a learnable orientation detection neural network after the dendritic neuron stage. © 2024 SPIE.

This study examines the accuracy and ethical implications of using convolutional neural networks (CNN) for automated crime detection. A CNN model was trained on a dataset of criminal mugshots to identify potential criminal behaviour based on facial features. This study analyzed the performance of the model and achieved a high accuracy rate in identifying criminals. However, the ethical implications of automated criminal detection are also explored, including bias, privacy and human rights violations. The findings of this study highlight the need for caution and ethical considerations when implementing automated crime detection technologies. It is important to ensure that such technologies are not used to violate the rights of individuals or perpetuate societal biases. © 2023 IEEE.
