However, the complexity of implementing an appropriate triage process has led to the development of various systems, each offering a unique approach to address this *** paper presents a comparative analysis of different patient triage systems, focusing on their key characteristics, identifying their common and unique elements, and providing an understanding of their advantages and limitations. Relying on the findings of the conducted analysis, the paper proposes a generic model of the triage process, designed around universal components that provide a foundation for standardizing the process while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to specific requirements. The proposed generic model further can be employed as a basis for exploring opportunities to enhance the patient triage process through the application of model-driven engineering concepts and techniques.

The fluent API, also known as Internal DSL, is one of the concepts introduced primarily for the purpose of increasing readability and maintainability in the process of software development. It is most commonly used when there is a need to perform operations according to precisely defined rules that determine their possible orders. However, implementing a Fluent API by manual coding can divert focus from defining these rules toward technical implementation, increasing the risk of errors, unexpected behavior, and higher development costs. To address these challenges, a model-driven engineering (MDE) approach can be applied, enabling the visual design of the Fluent API model and its transformation into a code *** paper aims to present how the previously created graphical development tool, implemented as a Microsoft Visual Studio extension for modeling Fluent API, can be enhanced with model-to-text transformation in order to provide code generation of a fluent API structure. That objective is achieved by using the template-based code generation technique, implemented by enabling the execution of the appropriate T4 text templates. The proposed approach is validated by demonstrating a real-life fluent API example's code generation from its model, resulting in C# source files that contain classes, interfaces, and their corresponding methods.

The sixth generation (6G) communication posed higher requirements for the communication system regarding accurate semantic transmission. The existing studies about semantic communication principally concentrate on tackling task-oriented problems, rather than directly design modality-oriented system which is more generic and adaptive to different tasks. To improve the flexibility and robustness of communication system, we propose a Multimodality-Oriented Unified Semantic Communication SystEm (MOUSSE) based on contrastive learning. MOUSSE is designed to firstly orient modality then matches different modalities combination up to various tasks. Existing task-oriented philosophy primarily considers tasks whilst restricting modal versatility. MOUSSE could also intake and output various tasks with multiple modalities while transmit them in a concise and unified representation. Specifically, the system consists of structure-symmetric twin encoder-decoder for modality unification, which cascades joint source-channel coding (JSCC) module and contrastive learning based alignment module. Finally, the experiments verify the validity of proposed MOUSSE by quantitative results from different modalities with their respective tasks. The reliability and robustness are also improved from the point of entire communication system view.

This paper focuses on comparing file system performance under various disk layout complexities using the same hypervisor. KVM was selected as the hypervisor for this study, and two distinct disk layout complexities were chosen for the guest operating system side. Filebench was the benchmarking tool used due to its remarkable flexibility in simulating realistic application and server behaviors. CentOS 9 was used as the guest operating system, representing the Linux family. The experimental tests involved running one, two, three, and four virtual machines simultaneously. The paper study includes a mathematical model of the virtual environment with different disk layout complexities, followed by a real experiment presented as a case study. This model is used to interpret the results obtained from the experiment.

In modern medical circumstances, effective assessment of patients' conditions is recognized as crucial for quick decision-making, especially in critical situations. In these circumstances, the application of automated triage systems and their role in improving health care are considered key elements, with special focus being placed on the integration of technologies that enable a more accurate and faster assessment of the patient's condition. Based on the above, the paper analyzed various traditional methods of patient triage, as well as the potential for e-triage. Special importance is attached to reducing subjectivity in decision-making and improving the efficiency of emergency services. Challenges and advantages of implementing automated triage systems in real conditions were also discussed, with the aim of achieving optimal results. Considering the factors, a one of possible framework was proposed for the future development of advanced triage systems, which contribute to the improvement of the quality of health care provision.
