Ultra-high-performance seawater sea-sand concrete(UHPSSC)presents a prospective solution to address the natural resource shortage in marine infrastructure *** eliminate the corrosion risk of steel fibers and broaden the applicability of UHPSSC,this study investigates the mechanical properties and free chloride ion content as well as microstructures of UHPSSC reinforced with superfine stainless wires(SSWs)under natural *** results indicate that 1.5%SSWs can remarkably improve the flexural strength and toughness of UHPSSC by 127%and 1724%,respectively,and mitigate the long-term strength degradation of *** strong interfacial bond between SSW and UHPSSC improves the compactness of UHPSSC,thus reducing the growth space for Ca(OH)_(2) crystals and swelling hydration products generated by sulfate and magnesium *** can be supported by the observed reduction in the Ca/Si ratio of C–S–H gels,CH crystal orientation index,and ***,through mechanisms such as pull-out,rupture,overlapping network,and internal anchor interface,SSWs effectively prevent microcrack growth and propagation,transforming single long-connected microcracks into multiple-emission microcracks centered on ***,the free chloride ion content of the composites at 28 and 180 d meets the ACI 318-19 standard requirements for concrete exposed to *** compliance is attributed to the chloride immobilization facilitated by Friedel’s salt and C–S–H gels within the interfaces around SSWs and ***,SSWs-reinforced UHPSSC exhibits considerable potential for applications in sustainable marine infrastructures,demanding long-term mechanical properties and high durability.

Information on Land Use and Land Cover Map(LULCM)is essential for environment and socioeconomic *** maps are generally derived from Multispectral Remote Sensing Images(MRSI)via *** classification process can be described as informa-tion flow from images to maps through a trained *** the information flow is essential for understanding the classification mechanism,providing solutions that address such theoretical issues as"what is the maximum number of classes that can be classified from a given MRSI?"and"how much information gain can be obtained?"Consequently,two inter-esting questions naturally arise,i.e.(ⅰ)How can we characterize the information flow?and(ⅱ)What is the mathematical form of the information flow?To answer these two questions,this study first hypothesizes that thermodynamic entropy is the appropriate measure of informa-tion for both MRSI and *** hypothesis is then supported by kinetic-theory-based ***,upon such an entropy,a generalized Jarzynski equation is formulated to mathematically model the information flow,which contains such parameters as thermo-dynamic entropy of MRSI,thermodynamic entropy of LULCM,weighted F1-score(classification accuracy),and total number of *** generalized Jarzynski equation has been success-fully validated by hypothesis-driven experiments where 694 Sentinel-2 images are classified into 10 classes by four classical *** study provides a way for linking thermodynamic laws and concepts to the characterization and understanding of information flow in land cover classification,opening a new door for constructing domain knowledge.

Pipeline transport of hydrogen is one of today’s economic and environmental *** order to find safe and reliable application of both existing gas and build new pipelines,it is essential to carry out tests on full-scale pipeline section,including the potentially more dangerous places than the main pipe,the girth *** the investigations,pipeline sections of P355NH steel with girth welds were prepared and exposed to pure hydrogen at twice the maximum allowable operating pressure for 41 ***,full-scale burst tests were carried out and specimens were cut and prepared from the typical locations of the failed pipeline sections for mechanical,and macro-and microstructural *** results obtained were evaluated and compared with data from previous full-scale tests on pipeline sections without hydrogen *** results showed differences in the behavior of pipeline sections loaded in different ways,with different characteristics of the materials and the welded joints,both in the cases without hydrogen exposure and in the cases exposed to hydrogen.

Accurately predicting the Remaining Useful Life(RUL)of lithium-ion batteries is crucial for battery management *** learning-based methods have been shown to be effective in predicting RUL by leveraging battery capacity time series ***,the representation learning of features such as long-distance sequence dependencies and mutations in capacity time series still needs to be *** address this challenge,this paper proposes a novel deep learning model,the MLP-Mixer and Mixture of Expert(MMMe)model,for RUL *** MMMe model leverages the Gated Recurrent Unit and Multi-Head Attention mechanism to encode the sequential data of battery capacity to capture the temporal features and a re-zero MLP-Mixer model to capture the high-level ***,we devise an ensemble predictor based on a Mixture-of-Experts(MoE)architecture to generate reliable RUL *** experimental results on public datasets demonstrate that our proposed model significantly outperforms other existing methods,providing more reliable and precise RUL predictions while also accurately tracking the capacity degradation *** code and dataset are available at the website of github.
