Rapid urbanization and tourism growth are straining sanitation systems, water resources, and public health in many developing regions. Labuan Bajo, Indonesia, a super-priority tourism destination, faces water shortages and inadequate sanitation infrastructure, increasing environmental and health risks. This study examines community-based sanitation adaptation strategies using an adaptive capacity framework and a choice experiment (CE) method to assess community willingness to participate in sanitation improvements. Three scenarios were tested: (1) community skill improvement, promoting composting septic tank waste and community involvement in sanitation planning; (2) health education platform, integrating septic tank sludge removal services with public health education; and (3) adaptive climate community-based sanitation, a comprehensive approach combining waste management, education, and community engagement to enhance sanitation resilience. Results show that education, government support, and community participation drive successful sanitation adaptation. Among the three scenarios, education-focused and comprehensive approaches had the highest Marginal Willingness to Participate (MWTP) values, reflecting strong community interest in health-focused sanitation solutions. Government policies and financial support were crucial for long-term success. This research provides practical insights for policymakers, urban planners, and development agencies working on climate-resilient sanitation solutions in tourism-driven and water-scarce regions. Future studies should explore how these strategies can be adapted in different settings.

The green approach for metal oxide Nanoparticles (NPs) synthesis is a current discuss in material science and nanotechnology, which is quick, simple, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly. This study aims at the biogenic zinc oxide nanoparticles synthesis (ZnONPs) using Cassia Javanica leaf extracts and Analyzing its antibacterial properties activities; Zones of Inhibition (ZI) and Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) on Salmonella, Candida, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The ZnONPs were characterized using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer, XRD, FTIR, EDX, and SEM. The FTIR shows that the metal oxide nanoparticle wavenumber was at 700cm -1 , which was corroborated by EDX chemical *** show spherical crystalline nanoparticles having an average size of particles of 41.85 nm. The recorded ZI values for Salmonella, Candida, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are 32.00, 48.00, 0.00, 34.00 and 40.00 mm respectively. Also, the MIC for Salmonella, Candida, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are 7.81, 3.90, 0.00, 31.25 and 7.81 mg/mL respectively. The findings of this study revealed the antimicrobial properties of Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) using Cassia Javanica leaf extract suggesting that it is a possible contender for use in biomedical applications.

This paper presents an integrated approach to bottle label detection in industrial processes, combining machine vision techniques with programmable Logic Controller (PLC) commanding for an efficient and reliable quality control system. The logic of the label detection station was developed using ladder diagrams to simulate the process and determine whether to retain or remove a bottle on the conveyor based on label presence. The image processing component, executed in Python, manipulated the main variable indicating the label's presence on the bottle. CODESYS was employed to visually represent the process, and in the simulation phase, the bottle traversed the conveyor, halting when the proximity sensor activated. Python code provided the labeling status, and the corresponding image was displayed on a simulation screen. To bridge the gap between image processing and logic control, the functionality of image processing in Python was linked with the CODESYS logic. An OPC UA server in CODESYS facilitated external connections, enabling Python to access and configure CODESYS variables. Challenges, such as scanning rate disparities between Python and CODESYS, were addressed through the introduction of sessions synchronized by a counter. Technical steps involved using an OPC UA client program to monitor server availability and access CODESYS program variables. The installation of the Security plugin in CODESYS ensured secure external connections. The project's key realization was the seamless linkage between image processing and PLC logic, demonstrating an effective integration of machine vision into industrial processes. For bottle label detection, the paper employed OpenCV for object recognition. The image segmentation method, utilizing adaptive thresholding, distinguished the bottle from its background, optimizing the separation process. Landfill leachates are liquids that could ensue serious harmful effects due to their high concentrations of organic matter and toxic substances. Therefore, this study evaluated nutrient removal and fatty acid production in three concentrations of landfill leachate, by two microalgal consortia (marine and freshwater). Four cultures were carried out for each consortium (Marine Chlorella marina and Nannochloropsis oculata and freshwater Chlorella vulgaris and Ankistrodesmus falcatus) in leachate concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15% along with a control group (0%), with four samples for each concentration. A nutrient removal rate greater than 60% was obtained for both microalgal consortia, with nitrates exhibiting the higher rate (>90%). The marine consortia showed a higher removal rate for most nutrients across all leachate concentration. Regarding fatty acid composition, palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic and myristic acid had the highest concentration on both consortia, suggesting their potential suitability as a source for high-quality biodiesel and other bioproducts. © 2024, The Authors. The presence of asbestos in many rural areas in Türkiye is a well-known issue. Recently, it has been proved that inhaling asbestos fibers can cause asbestosis, lung cancer, or mesothelioma and adversely affect human health. Dangerous fibers may be found in the soil content resulting from the decomposition, dispersion, and use of asbestos-containing rocks by natural or anthropogenic activities. In this study, the effects of using naturally occurring asbestos containing rocks as road material on the environment and human health in the Altınekin district, Koçyaka, and Akçaşar neighborhoods were evaluated. Chrysotile, tremolite, and actinolite minerals were found in mineralogical analysis of the samples taken from the rocks used for road construction. In areas where naturally occurring asbestos containing rocks are extracted, the amount of fiber in the air varies between 0.038 and 0.3 f/m3. The amount of fiber measured in road dust is between 0.050 and 0.1 f/m3. Individuals may be exposed to road dust during transportation to agricultural areas in the region located in the arid climate zone. The proximity of naturally occurring asbestos containing rocks to settlements, and the transport of weathered fibers here with wind, poses a threat to people living in these regions.

Organizations face an urgent need to become faster, more efficient, and more successful in their commercial operations, given the current state of technological evolution and the arrival of Industry 4.0. Many businesses have adopted the idea of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to achieve this goal. The ERP system is expected to increase worker productivity, improve business performance to maximize profitability and profits, and provide accurate and up-to-date data and information to management and stakeholders. This research aims to find new variables related to integration problems in the use of ERP systems. Using the SPSS statistical program, the data collected will be examined using quantitative exploratory factor analysis (EFA). Data processing then includes collecting demographic information from respondents, reliability testing, conducting the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test, testing using an anti-image matrix, and deriving new factors using a rotation component matrix. This research seeks to identify new elements underlying ongoing integration problems in ERP system implementation. The research results show several reasons for underlying integration problems and offer in-depth information to management that can be used to analyze and evaluate the ERP system in their company appropriately in the future so that the company's performance becomes superior to the competition. © 2024 IEEE.

YouTube is a widely-used platform in Indonesia, with 93.8% of its users. As such, it presents a valuable opportunity for marketing tourist destinations, particularly in Riau province, which aims to become Indonesia's top Halal travel destination. Tourism is a vital contributor to the economic growth of regions, and each province in Indonesia competes to promote its tourist attractions to attract more visitors every year. However, the large volume of data can challenge the manual analysis of feedback from YouTube's features, such as likes, dislikes, and comments. A literature review suggests that the Naive Bayes algorithm, which uses machine learning, is helpful for sentiment analysis. Therefore, this study aims to analyze public sentiment toward tourist destinations in Riau province by analyzing YouTube comments using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The study used 1680 opinions collected from 10 YouTube videos showcasing tourist destinations in Riau. The Naive Bayes algorithm classified 60% of the comments as positive, 32% as neutral, and 8% as negative. The experimental results indicated an accuracy and precision of 73%, a recall of 94%, and an F-1 Score of 82%. The study used the word frequency technique to reveal that Riau could become a popular halal tourist destination based on several frequently occurring words in the comments. © 2023 IEEE.

Normal Move Out (NMO) Correction using Common Mid-Point (CMP) data based on shallow target seismic. It has several problems for NMO correction. This constraint is caused by changes in extreme velocity gradients, resulting in less optimum value shallow target Common Mid-Point (CMP). The increased velocity causes a stretch in the Normal moveout (NMO) process which can reduce the S/N ratio. To minimize the stretch effect on NMO processing, we use a dynamic time warping algorithm analysis seismic signal with dynamic time warping algorithm based calculation time shift at time series sequence. The results of the NMO-DTW show that there is no change phase and frequency in the trace seismic with the far offset. Because algorithm calculation is based on the initial trace on CMP. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In the field of computer science, expert systems have attracted many computer scientists. In recent years, expert systems have been widely used in the medical field, particularly for diagnosing and treating various diseases, especially prostate cancer. Reality has shown that expert systems hold great promise for accurate diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. This research summarizes several studies related to the application of artificial intelligence in the field of prostate cancer through bibliometric analysis and explores potential future research. Articles and reviews on the application of expert systems in prostate cancer from 2015 to 2022 were selected from the PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science databases. Microsoft Excel 2019 and GraphPad Prism 8 were used for target variable analysis. A total of 37 articles were selected for this research. Research on artificial intelligence in prostate cancer has grown exponentially in recent years, particularly in Indonesia. Image data usage is more predominant (62%) than numerical data types in prostate cancer research. Artificial intelligence research in prostate cancer, especially in the field of treatment cases, and the use of Deep Neural Network (DNN), Human Neural Network (HNN), Fully Convolutional Network (FCN), QT Environment for C++, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithms, are highly feasible for further research.

The development of the energy management systems (EMS) improves the energy efficiency of vehicular systems, control operational factors and behavior of electromechanical components by appropriating machine learning and IoT techniques, making the systems more intelligent, sustainable, and interconnected. Specially, the inclusion of technology such as Industry 4.0 have allowed to improve the range of operation, control and optimization of autonomous vehicles. In fact, EMS have become relevant with the emergence of electrical vehicles (EV’s) and are proposed as an alternative to minimize dependence on fossil fuels, mitigation of negative ecological impacts, increase safety, also suggest efforts to achieve new energy sources, charge stations, decisions about final disposal of components and life cycle prediction which can be summed up in the need for more technological coverage. This article aims to show the framework about the EMS based on concepts, differences, advantages and disadvantages of the EV’s.
