When applying EU standards to the Serbian railway system, one of the major prerequisites is achieving interoperability with EU railway system. This paper describes a Web service for effortless timetable data exchange based on European Railway Agency implementation guide. The implementation details of the actual railway timetable formats and the corresponding software architecture are described, confirming advantages of the SOA approach when compared to other existing solutions in this area.

This paper outlines the initial investigations on the influence of chaotic dynamics to the performance of evolutionary algorithms. The focus of this paper is the embedding of chaotic system in the form of chaos number generator for Differential Evolution. The chaotic systems of interest are the discrete dissipative systems. The two-dimensional Dissipative Standard map was selected as a possible chaos number generator for Differential Evolution. Repeated simulations were performed on a selected benchmark function. Finally, the obtained results are compared with canonical Differential Evolution.

A multivariate modelling may involve a set of multivariate functions. A vector valued function structure can be used to mathematically express the given problem and each multivariate function can be considered as an element of this vector. This work aims to construct a new approach representing the elements of this vector structure in terms of less‐variate functions to reduce the computational complexity. For this purpose, a new method based on the plain High Dimensional Model Representation (HDMR) philosophy is developed. In this paper we present a memetic algorithm for the reconstruction of binary images represented on a triangular grid. We define the crossover and mutation evolutionary algorithm operators introduced on this grid. We propose a discrete tomography algorithm which uses a switch and compactness operators for the triangular grid to improve the quality of the image in each generation. Reversible logic is a promising design methodology, particularly in the scope of quantum computing, for extremely low power consumption by elimination of power dissipation due to information loss. Anticipated high fault rates for future technologies raise demand for fault tolerance in reversible logic. In this paper we propose fault masking techniques (to prevent error propagation) for reversible logic. We present different implementations of reversible majority voters. Using voter insertion techniques and taking advantage of available non-functional outputs, we are able to provide diagnosis information with adjustable resolution for reversible circuits. Such diagnosability has important applications in manufacturing testing as well as online repair. In contrast to previous work this voter is robust against single point of failure. We target missing and repeated gate fault models which are specific to reversible logic.
