As antenna structure grow in complexity, the problem of time-consuming in electromagnetic (EM) simulation have become more common. This problem undoubtedly brings a series of the challenges in raising the effectiveness of antenna optimization. In order to overcome the existing difficulties, an antenna optimization method based on RF-GWO method is proposed. This approach consists of three major components. Firstly, an artificial neural network (ANN) is used to build the dataset. Compared with the traditional sampling method, the data filtered by the artificial neural network (ANN) are closer to the optimization objective. Consequently, it can better responsive to the relationship between the antenna parameters and the optimization objective. Then, the Random Forest method (RF) is utilized to analyze the impact of the ten selected parameters based on the electromagnetic (EM) simulation results on the antenna performance. Random Forest Algorithm (RF) has strong interpretability, allowing for the assessment of the contribution of different parameters to the optimization objective, which can effectively reduce the number of design variables. Finally, the antenna optimization is performed utilizing the Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm. Combined with the sensitivity analysis results, the Gray Wolf Algorithm (GWO) can effectively search for improved results in a faster manner. In order to evaluate the algorithm's performance, the proposed method is employed to optimize a multiband miniaturized microstrip antenna. The result demonstrates that substantial improvement in impedance bandwidth is achieved by the proposed method, with an approximate 29% increase compared to conventional manual optimization methods. This outcome has proved potential and effectiveness of the proposed method in practical implications of antenna optimization. © 2024 IEEE.

Scalability has grown more important as blockchain technology is adopted. This study introduces RSA-accumulator-based stateless blockchain performance optimization. Verifiable computing technology and distributed design compress node state data and prove smart contract validity, while a new smart contract execution logic and transaction verification scheme solve the problem of transaction verification and execution under stateless conditions, increasing system throughput. The technique reduces consensus node storage and improves throughput compared to Ethereum blockchains, according to experiments. This study examines the scheme's concept, implementation, and blockchain scalability potential. © 2023 SPIE.

GNNPPOR: A Proximal Policy Optimization Multi-Factor Joint Routing Approach Based on Graph Neural Networks in FANETs

Given the significant challenges of low resource utilization, load imbalance, and difficulties in meeting quality of service requirements in Flying Ad Hoc Networks (FANETs) routing protocols, this letter proposes a Graph Neural Network (GNN)-based approach for proximal policy optimization routing (GNNPPOR). The approach aims to integrate traffic engineering into FANETs to effectively distribute network load and meet quality of service requirements. In GNNPPOR, we design a GNN model that first aggregates multi-dimensional network state information efficiently through a message-passing mechanism. Subsequently, the network state is updated in real-time using a gated recurrent unit to adapt to dynamic changes in the FANETs network state. Finally, a multi-factor joint decision-making approach is proposed to identify suitable routes for each traffic based on the current network state. Simulation results demonstrate that GNNPPOR outperforms existing methods in several key metrics. Specifically, packet delivery rate increased by 25.3%, while energy consumption and network jitter decreased by 12.8% and 24.9%, respectively. © 2019 IEEE.

UAV target detection has important application value in the fields of modern military, security and emergency rescue. In order to improve the accuracy and robustness of UAV target detection, this paper uses image fusion technology to enhance the information of input images, and combines YOLOv5 target detection model to introduce attention mechanism for improvement. In the experiment, the generative adversarial network (GAN) is used as the image fusion technology, and the fusion image is generated by changing the structure of the generator and the discriminator. At the same time, the attention mechanism is introduced into the YOLOv5 model to enhance the focus of target detection. The experimental results show that the proposed improved algorithm has achieved significant performance improvement in the UAV target detection task. © 2023 IEEE.

By combining high-precision virtual models and actual data, virtual-real fusion technology can significantly improve the production efficiency, quality control and safety of non-ferrous metal process industry, and optimize the production process. In the data processing of virtual-real fusion, environmental understanding is the basis for the correct interaction between virtual objects and the real world in the virtual-real fusion. Virtual-real convergence, especially in Augmented Reality (AR), often requires advanced image understanding techniques to improve user experience and provide more interactivity. Semantic segmentation plays a key role in this process, so this paper proposes a semantic segmentation method that uses RGB and point cloud images as well as deep image fusion to solve the heterogeneous problem of multi-source data in virtual-real fusion data processing, and improve the ability of machine vision system to understand the real world environment in virtual-real fusion. Firstly, Agent Attention is introduced for the decoder stage processing features, which combines the advantages of traditional attention and linear attention. Secondly, a feature fusion method is introduced for adaptive fusion of features between various stages. Experiments were carried out on the NYU Depth Dataset V2 and KITTI-360 data sets, and the segmentation results of the proposed method were 53.7% and 56.7% respectively on mIoU. In addition, the method is applied to the field of ore segmentation, and the mIoU reaches 81.7%, which also achieves good segmentation effect. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

A Fourier transform spectrometer(FTS)has been used to observe solar activities due to its ultra-high spectral ***,the FTS in-band spectra are usually distorted and some artifacts appear in out-of-band regions due to nonlinear ***,the FTS nonlinear problem must be *** this study,we proposed a novel method to correct the nonlinear effects using simulated *** simulated several nonlinear spectra to evaluate the performance of our *** calculated quadratic coefficients are extremely close to the given values,demonstrating that the method is effective and *** proposed method is further used to correct the blackbody and solar spectra with nonlinearity obtained by Bruker IFS-125HR installed at the Huairou Solar Observing Station,which is a pathfinder for the accurate infrared magnetic field measurements of the Sun *** the blackbody spectra,the nonlinearity in low-and high-frequency regions are corrected by 89.09%and 60.84%.The nonlinear correction of the solar spectra in the low-and high-frequency regions have reached 65.34%and 81.04%,*** results prove that our method can correct the nonlinear problem to improve the data accuracy.

Aiming at the problem that the total throughput of secondary users is not maximized, considering the fairness between secondary users and the interference of primary users to secondary users, a power allocation strategy to maximize the throughput of CR-NOMA is proposed. Firstly, the elementary matrix is established according to the equivalent channel gain, and the secondary user is selected and multiplexed to the primary user sub-channel. Then, for the selected secondary users, the minimum transmission rate is dynamically adjusted based on fairness, and the optimal power scaling factor under the maximization of the total throughput of the secondary users is calculated. Finally, power distribution is performed. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the complexity of the algorithm and maximize the total throughput of the secondary users compared with the HPPA and CR-OMA algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

Drunk-driving is an important factor causing road traffic accidents and deaths, which deserves a lot of research. However, most current methods for detecting drunk-driving depend on customized hardware or require users’ active participation, making it impractical to monitor blood alcohol content (BAC) during driving. This article introduces BACFuse, a device-free, contactless, and noninvasive system utilizing smartphone in driving environments, which achieves relatively high accuracy in drunk-driving monitoring by integrating various voice sensing modalities. BACFuse first captures vocal cord vibration from ultrasonic signals, then records voice commands from audio signals. BACFuse combines the ultrasonic signals with audio signals and effectively detects drunk-driving and BAC. A key enabler lies in our modeling of latent interaction between acoustic and ultrasonic signals to mitigate ambient noise, realizing noise-resistant drunk-driving detection. Additionally, we propose an effective modules within the co-attention method to fuse the multimodal signals, further enhancing the accuracy of drunk-driving detection. We conduct extensive experiments to evaluate BACFuse’s performance on 20 participants in safe laboratory experiments. The results demonstrate that our system achieves BAC measurement with an MAE of 2.13 mg/dl, showing promise for future in-car driving management paradigms. © 2014 IEEE.

This paper analyzes the outage probability of a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system assisted by a reconfigurable smart surface (STAR-RIS) with simultaneous emission and reflection. Among them, the link between the base station and the user is a non-line-of-sight link, which requires relay communication through STAR-RIS. We assume that the channel is a Rayleigh channel, and derive the closed-form expressions of the outage probability of the reflected and refracted users in the NOMA system. The numerical results show that: 1) the outage probability decreases with the increase of the reflective element of STAR-RIS;2) the outage probability decreases with the decrease of the deployment range of STAR-RIS;3) increasing the power allocation factor can effectively reduce the outage probability of users;4) the average energy efficiency of reflective users is inversely proportional to that of refractive users. © 2023 IEEE.

Wireless ultraviolet (UV) has strong scattering characteristics and can communicate through non-direct *** UV signals are transmitted in the atmosphere,they are affected by the absorption and scattering effects of atmospheric particles and atmospheric turbulence,resulting in attenuation of UV signal energy and reduced reliability of the communication *** paper focuses on the channel model of UV non-direct-view single scattering communication,and simulates and analyzes the communication characteristics of UV light in atmospheric turbulence and mixed aerosol environment under horizontal,vertical and oblique range communication *** results show that at equal relative humidity,the wireless UV non-directive scattering communication performance for vertical communication scenarios is more affected by the mixed aerosol environment and the communication performance is worse.
