Speech recognition systems use computer algorithms to interpret and process spoken words and translate them into text. Speech-to-text, or Speech detection, is the proficiency of a program or machine to find spoken words aloud and translate them into plain text. Speech detection systems are the most common complex systems that use wide-ranging research in computer engineering, linguistics, and computer science. In today's significant data era, several machine learning (ML) approaches for processing raw, unlabelled speech data still need to be improved. Deep learning (DL) models, on the other hand, with their powerful modelling ability for extensive data, are capable of directly processing unlabelled data and have become a crucial area of research in the domain of automated speech recognition. The DL model has recently gained popularity for voice disorders and automated speech detection. DL is an ML that exploits artificial neural networks (ANN) to gain meaningful insights from data. The DL approach demonstrated great success and achieved significant attention in different fields comprising speech processing, computer vision (CV), and natural language processing (NLP). Therefore, this article develops a Deep Learning with Natural Language Processing based Robust Speech Detection (DLNLP-RSD) technique. The DLNLP-RSD technique derives features from the mel-frequency cepstral coefficient (MFCC) technique. Followed by the DLNLP-RSD technique employs a one-dimensional deep convolutional neural network (CNN) approach for the detection and classification of speech. Moreover, the parameter tuning model uses the grasshopper fractals optimization algorithm (GOA) approach. The performance evaluation of the proposed technique highlights its significant performance over other models concerning distinct measures. Sleep quality prediction in Internet of Things (IoT) involves leveraging a system of interrelated devices to gather as well as analyse related data. Smart devices like wearable devices or smart mattresses endlessly monitor many parameters such as body movement, heart rate, and environmental situations in bedroom. Real-time recommendations and feedback transported to consumers, allowing them to create informed lifestyle changes for superior sleep hygiene. As IoT ecosystem continues to develop, a combination of various data streams as well as classy analytics holds assurance for further refining sleep quality forecasts and improving overall well-being. The article designs a Bald Eagle Search Algorithm with Hierarchical Deep Learning for Internet of Things Assisted Sleep Quality Recognition (BESHDL-SQP) technique. The purpose of the BESHDL-SQP technique is to recognize and classify the quality of the sleep level in the IoT environment. In the presented BESHDL-SQP technique, the preliminary stage of data pre-processing using min–max normalization involved to normalize the input data. For predicting sleep quality, hierarchical long short-term memory (LSTM) technique exploited. Lastly, BES model utilized for optimal hyperparameter selection of LSTM method which helps in attaining enhanced results. To validate better performance of BESHDL-SQP technique, a huge range of simulation analysis is carried out. The extensive results stated that the BESHDL-SQP technique exhibits supreme performance over other models. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

In this study, we surveyed the existing information security literature related to the Quran to contribute to the knowledge gap(s) in seeking the role of information security in the Quran research area. Materials published in English were located between January 2019 and February 2024 by searching various academic databases, including Google Scholar, IEEEXplore, ACM Digital Library, Springer and ScienceDirect. Thirty-two publications were collected and classified into ten domains of information security Common Body of Knowledge to identify the research trends. The results show that Domain 3 (Cryptography and Digital Watermarking) is the most studied area, followed by Domain 2 (Ethical and Legal Issues) with eight publications and Domain 5 (Access Control) with three publications. Other domains consist of only 1 or 2 publications each. Our observation also showed that three recurring themes of studies that are the implementation of information security techniques to preserve digital Quran authenticity, the association of Quran verses in supporting information security approaches;and the development of information security techniques from the Quran epistemology. Overall, exploring the research trends and interconnected areas could lead to advancements in information security practices and Quranic studies, fostering how traditional wisdom influences modern technologies. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's digital age, web accessibility and barrier-free design are crucial for individuals with disabilities to fully participate in and benefit from the Internet. Despite existing guidelines, there is room for improvement in their implementation. This qualitative study explores the relationship between accessible website design and user experience for individuals with blindness and visual impairments. Through interviews, it aims to understand their current emotions and perceptions towards the Internet. Additionally, the study discusses the importance of involving individuals with visual impairments in the creation and implementation of accessibility policies and laws. Monkeypox, a rare but potentially fatal viral disease, poses a significant public health challenge due to its potential for outbreaks and complications. Detecting monkeypox lesions early and accurately is vital to effectively manage and control the disease. This study introduces a novel method for classifying monkeypox lesions, employing data augmentation methods and a framework based on an ensemble of three transfer learning models called "SkinMarkNet". The dataset used in this research consists of skin lesion images collected from the Kaggle data repository, encompassing diverse demographics and lesion characteristics. This research uses image data augmentation techniques to tackle the scarcity of annotated data. This augmentation enriches the training dataset, thereby improving the model’s ability to perform effectively. Moreover, the novelty of this research work lies in the usage of three popular transfer learning models(Inception, Xception, and ResNet) for feature extraction and ensemble learning. The SkinMarkNet achieves promising results showing an accuracy of 90.615% for monkeypox lesion classification, outperforming traditional machine learning and deep learning methods utilized in recent research works. In addition, thorough comparative analysis is done with machine learning models and contemporary approaches to validate the efficacy of the proposed method. Overall, the findings underscore the potential of leveraging advanced deep learning architectures and data augmentation strategies for improving monkeypox lesion classification, thereby facilitating early diagnosis and intervention in clinical settings and public health surveillance efforts. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

In terms of security and privacy,mobile ad-hoc network(MANET)continues to be in demand for additional debate and *** more MANET applications become data-oriented,implementing a secure and reliable data transfer protocol becomes a major concern in the ***,MANET’s lack of infrastructure,unpredictable topology,and restricted resources,as well as the lack of a previously permitted trust relationship among connected nodes,contribute to the attack detection burden.A novel detection approach is presented in this paper to classify passive and active black-hole *** proposed approach is based on the dipper throated optimization(DTO)algorithm,which presents a plausible path out of multiple paths for statistics transmission to boost MANETs’quality of service.A group of selected packet features will then be weighed by the DTO-based multi-layer perceptron(DTO-MLP),and these features are collected from nodes using the Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchical(LEACH)clustering *** is a powerful classifier and the DTO weight optimization method has a significant impact on improving the classification process by strengthening the weights of key features while suppressing the weights ofminor *** hybridmethod is primarily designed to combat active black-hole *** the LEACH clustering phase,however,can also detect passive black-hole *** effect of mobility variation on detection error and routing overhead is explored and evaluated using the suggested *** diverse mobility situations,the results demonstrate up to 97%detection accuracy and faster execution ***,the suggested approach uses an adjustable threshold value to make a correct conclusion regarding whether a node is malicious or benign.

As the sheer volume of data continues to surge across both private and public networks, the potential for leveraging Machine Learning (ML) to streamline complex supply chains becomes increasingly viable. However, conventional centralized ML and data analytics systems are fraught with vulnerabilities, such as susceptibility to data breaches, loss of system control, and other malicious attacks. Enter Federated Learning (FL), a promising paradigm within ML that prioritizes data confidentiality and decentralized model training. Nevertheless, to harness its full potential and ensure optimal performance, an optimization process is required. This optimization challenge is further compounded by the fact that it falls into the category of NP-hard scheduling problems. Moreover, recent novel attacks on FL architecture have raised substantial security concerns. In this paper, we present a novel approach that marries Blockchain technology with the third-generation Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-III) to fortify the defense against attacks targeting FL algorithms operating within Internet of Things (IoT) systems. Our holistic optimization approach, underpinned by Blockchain, guarantees not only the veracity of trained models but also optimizes processing time and reduces the success rate of potential attacks. Consequently, we propose a hybrid methodology that integrates Blockchain and FL optimization, safeguarding ML models from a spectrum of threats while preserving user privacy. To tackle the bi-objective FL optimization problem, we introduce an efficient NSGA-III algorithm. Our rigorous experiments demonstrate the superior efficacy of our proposed solution compared to the current state-of-the-art approaches. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

Cloud computing (CC) refers to the transmission, storage, and processing of any type of information at a location that is not owned or controlled by the information owner. This information can be stored and accessed anytime, from anywhere, and using any device. However, several challenges threaten the deployment of cloud computing technology within organizations, including user privacy, data integrity, and managing the retention of the vast amount of data that will be stored and analyzed in this environment. In recent years, various data integrity checking systems and data storage mechanisms have been proposed to address these diverse challenges. Nevertheless, some protocols do not guarantee data confidentiality against auditors during the auditing process, while others do not provide batch auditing. Additionally, the majority of these protocols do not support the deduplication technique. Therefore, in this research work, the security features of blockchain technology and those of multi-agent systems (MAS) have prompted us to propose models that enable both data deduplication, saving storage space, and data integrity auditing, efficiently verifying the accuracy of data outsourced to CC environments. Implementation findings indicate that the suggested system is highly feasible and applicable in real-world scenarios. © 2024 by the authors of this article.

Ensuring road safety is becoming more and more significant for researchers and for all the society. One of the main issues in this area considers driver drowsiness. Therefore, the focus of this paper is the comprehensive analysis and comparison of four distinct machine learning models: Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Gradient Boosting. The ultimate goal is to gain insights into the intricate factors that shape driver behavior. When assessing the effectiveness of each model, four key metrics are taken into account: precision, recall, F1 score, and accuracy. In this study, we used a 'TRYOUT' dataset. The study yielded several significant findings regarding the performance of the machine learning models employed. Remarkably, the accuracy scores for all models were notably high, falling within a range of 0.8651 to 0.9999. Among all the models, the Random Forest model stood out as the most effective, displaying an impressive accuracy score of 0.9999 on the merged data. The SVM model, while not as proficient as the Random Forest, still managed a respectable performance, particularly on the MPM39 dataset where it achieved an accuracy of 7 5. 0 6 %. The Logistic Regression model demonstrated its strength on the CVD08 dataset, although its performance was comparatively weaker on the other datasets. Lastly, the Gradient Boosting model demonstrated consistent competency across all datasets, underscoring its reliability in a range of circumstances. © 2024 IEEE.
