This study investigates the effectiveness of Retrieval-based Voice Conversion (RVC) in detecting AI-generated Arabic speech across diverse linguistic contexts. The primary research questions address whether the RVC model can accurately differentiate between real and synthetic speech samples in various languages and its generalization capability across different linguistic contexts. Experimental evaluations show that the model achieves accuracies of 92% using Ensemble Learning (XGBoost and LightGBM), 93% with Meta Learning, and 90% with Neural Networks. Assessments encompass scenarios with real Arabic and English speech not included in training datasets, as well as different speakers across languages. The study contributes insights into the robustness and practical application of RVC for speech authentication. © 2024 IEEE.

The information Retrieval System Evaluation have carried out through Cranfield-paradigm in which the test collections provide the foundation of the evaluation process. The test collections consist of document corpus, topics, and a set of relevance judgements. The relevant judgements are the documents which retrieved from the test collections based on the topics. The precision of the evaluation process is based on the number of relevant documents in the relevant judgement list called qrels. This paper presents a study on how methodologies like pooling and document similarity helps to generate more relevant documents into the relevance judgments set in order to increase the accuracy of the evaluation process. The initial results have shown that combination of pooling with document similarity performs better compared to base clustering or classification. © 2022 IEEE.

The majority of information technology organizations nowadays prefer cloud computing as their main choice due to improvements in information technology. However, as a result of cloud computing's vast and open architecture, which makes it vulnerable to hacker attacks, the security of data remains an important concern. As a consequence, ensuring the security and integrity of data has become crucial while constructing an abnormal intrusion detection system utilizing machine learning algorithms represents a method to potentially detect intrusions. Recurring clouding as well as prevention. Using machine learning algorithms and revised intrusion datasets is necessary to overcome the challenge of finding effective and optimal network intrusion detection systems. The White Shark Optimization approach works along with Support Vector Machines (SVM). The suggested algorithm's effectiveness is assessed using metrics including accuracy and recall. When results of previous research employing both of the two datasets (NSL-KDD and Kyoto) for predicting the detection of abnormal infiltration are compared to the proposed algorithm based on SVM, it is determined that the white shark optimization algorithm produced the best accuracy, at 99.8%. © 2024 IEEE.

This study addresses the critical aspect of data collection within Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), which consist of autonomous, compact sensor devices deployed to monitor environmental conditions. These networks have limited processing capacity, storage, short-range communication capabilities, and constrained battery power. A primary challenge in WSN s revolves around data gathering, particularly when employing static sinks, leading to premature energy depletion in nodes near these sinks. Integrating mobile collectors introduces the potential for energy conservation by shortening data routes. This article introduces three distinct algorithms for optimizing data collection in WSN s. Our approach involves an in-depth analysis of diverse strategies to mitigate packet collisions and facilitate the retransmission of lost packets. Our findings underscore the considerable impact that packet collisions can exert on the overall network performance during data gathering within wireless sensor networks. Through empirical exploration and analysis, we highlight the significance of these algorithms in enhancing the efficiency, energy conservation, and reliability of data collection processes within WSNs. This research sheds light on these algorithms' vital role in addressing the pressing challenges of data gathering and network performance optimization in wireless sensor networks. © 2024 IEEE.

Human body action recognition (HBAR) is an important area of research in machine learning and image processing due to its vast range of applications. Similarly, estimating various components of human anatomy from RGB scenes are essential to human action tracking. The present study involves the implementation of human key body point detection for pose estimation. During abstracted silhouettes and vital human points, the proposed system has extracted two main features, such as 3D features and distance features. Once the relevant attributes have been incorporated, executing precise tasks and strategies is critical to achieving maximum features. Therefore, we used the t- SNE-based data refinement technique for optimal feature selection. Finally, for training, a classification model random forest is utilized. The presented system is verified on a recognized benchmark dataset, i.e., the UCF sports database. The experimental settings have revealed that our proposed system has attained better performance and outperformed other present state-of-the-art methods regarding mean recognition rate. © 2023 IEEE.

The research on Variational Quantum Algorithms (VQAs) has gained significant momentum because of their promising practicality in the noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) era. Recent studies highlight the potential of VQAs in reinforcement learning (RL) by replacing classical components with parameterized quantum circuits (PQCs). Building on this, we propose a quantum Q-learning model for the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP), combining a PQC with an RL training process. We present a PQC for embedding both static and dynamic states in RL environments. The proposed PQC approximates the Q-value function by using the expectation values of different observables. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed PQC outperforms the existing PQC for the CVRP with fewer quantum resources. Furthermore, our method shows competitive performance compared to the classical counterpart. © 2024 IEEE.

The use of covert communications has become more widespread recently as a solution to the information security issue. information security can be partially solved by the discovery and creation of covert routes. Covert channel use is still in its early phases, even though information security concerns are growing as a result of quick technology advancements. As a result, several problems and concerns need to be resolved, and the future plan is foggy. This paper seeks to give a thorough comparison of earlier and more recent attempts in this field. It offers a survey of the literature on the drawbacks and gaps in conventional detection techniques, emphasizing the most recent techniques for discovering and creating these covert channels while carefully considering machine learning and deep learning-based detection techniques. Additionally, it broadens the topic to cover the crucial function that these channels play in technology. Timing channels, storage channels, and hybrid channels are just a few of the ways covert channels may be utilized to transfer data. They can be used to get around security measures like intrusion detection systems and firewalls. Additionally, they may be used to steal confidential data from a system, including passwords, credit card numbers, and intellectual property. System security is seriously threatened by covert channels, and more study on covert channel production and detection is required to stay up with the changing threat environment. © 2023 IEEE.

Early diagnosis plays a critical role in preventing severe complications and fatalities associated with kidney disease, especially in regions like Saudi Arabia, where healthcare access may be limited. Prompt identification of the disease can significantly mitigate its severity and enhance patient outcomes. This study introduces an intelligent system for early kidney disease diagnosis utilizing machine learning (ML) models. We conducted a comparative analysis of various models, such as Random Forest (RF), Logistic Regression (LR), Support Vector Classifier (SVC), Gradient Boosting (GB), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), and Decision Tree (DT), with the SVC model achieving the highest accuracy of 72.00%. RF and KNN closely followed with 68.00% accuracy each, while the DT model, despite its interpretability benefits, achieved an accuracy of 56.00%. The interpretability of the DT model could be particularly advantageous in healthcare diagnostics where transparency is crucial. RF exhibited the highest precision at 0.71, proving effective in reducing false positives. The proposed system presents a promising solution for improving early kidney disease diagnosis and could be seamlessly integrated into mobile platforms, offering practical real-world applications for healthcare professionals and patients, especially in underserved areas. © 2024 IEEE.
