Melanoma is of the lethal and rare types of skin *** is curable at an initial stage and the patient can survive *** is very difﬁcult to screen all skin lesion patients due to costly *** are requiring a correct method for the right treatment for dermoscopic clinical features such as lesion borders,pigment networks,and the color of *** challenges are required an automated system to classify the clinical features of melanoma and non-melanoma *** trained clinicians can overcome the issues such as low contrast,lesions varying in size,color,and the existence of several objects like hair,reﬂections,air bubbles,and oils on almost all *** contour is one of the suitable methods with some drawbacks for the segmentation of irre-gular *** entropy and morphology-based automated mask selection is pro-posed for the active contour *** proposed method can improve the overall segmentation along with the boundary of melanoma *** this study,features have been extracted to perform the classiﬁcation on different texture scales like Gray level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM)and Local binary pattern(LBP).When four different moments pull out in six different color spaces like HSV,Lin RGB,YIQ,YCbCr,XYZ,and CIE L*a*b then global information from different colors channels have been ***,hybrid fused texture features;such as local,color feature as global,shape features,and Artiﬁcial neural network(ANN)as classiﬁers have been proposed for the categorization of the malignant and *** had been carried out on datasets Dermis,DermQuest,and *** results of our advanced method showed super-iority and contrast with the existing state-of-the-art techniques.

This paper introduces a new method for traffic anomaly identification within the Faster R-CNN framework by combining the DenseNet module with the region proposals (RPs) processing block. The suggested approach seeks to improve feature extraction and RP creation in aerial imagery or CCTV frames to get beyond the drawbacks of the current methods. Discriminative features are extracted through DenseNet, and the RPs block makes it easier to provide a wide range of accurate and varied area proposals. Contrast correction techniques are applied to overcome the difficulties presented by low-resolution and low-contrast images frequently seen in surveillance scenarios. Comparing experimental results to state-of-the-art techniques, one can observe notable resilience and detection accuracy increases. The suggested method works exceptionally well in various traffic scenarios and environmental circumstances, indicating its potential for practical implementation in traffic surveillance systems. Overall, the study contributes to advancing the efficacy and reliability of anomaly detection in urban traffic environments. © 2024 SPIE.

This article deals with select mechanisms that are provided by the object-oriented programming language Java. Using these mechanisms is crucial for a proper approach to object-oriented programming. However, this is often difficult for many programmers that are new to writing code in the said language. This paper looks at these mechanisms, defines them by quoting various sources, and proposes a solution that spots these described mechanisms in code. It does so by reading source code from .java files inputted by its user, gathering information about the defined and used classes, interfaces, methods, etc. With this information gained it outputs data which would often require a larger context of the code and good knowledge of the files’ contents. Thanks to the strict definitions and rules, that will be stated later in this paper, the application can consistently spot these mechanisms in code and inform its user about the fact. As a result, the application can help programmers that are new to object-oriented programming languages by ensuring them, that they implemented these mechanisms correctly, or by informing them about their absence. The core mechanisms described in this paper are inheritance, encapsulation, class association, and polymorphism. © 2023 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

The evolution of product families is complex due to the exponential growth of new products with a modified codebase. It is caused by the introduction of new such important or restrictive features that allow transforming an existing solution into a new product as the basis for another one. Specifically, both the structure of resulting components and semantic information need to be taken into account to provide in-depth supporting materials by capturing feature interactions and their capabilities. Additionally, data from heterogeneous applications usually differ and their handling needs account for different scoring. We tackled these problems by creating various supporting views based on structural and semantic information. Related applications are modeled as graphs, also instances of their components are optionally included, and various matrix based algorithms based on similarity metrics are integrated. The final integrated and automated approach is efficient because it runs in polynomial time, is extensively focused on dependencies/connections between nodes, can be adapted to big data, and is extendable and enhanced to support different metrics. Its capability to organize analyzed parts into hierarchies by applying hierarchic clustering helps to specify the context to support comprehension or find a related position of features based on their interaction, especially their coupling. With regards to possible design issues, each updated product should be checked by an expert or more autonomously against performed predictions, especially its complexity and coupling between components. Additionally, extendability can be measured from the chosen sequence of such updates. An approach including an automated matrix based feature recognition process is presented in the analysis of modular Angular applications. The tourism sector is currently witnessing a significant transformation driven by technological automation. As this evolution unfolds, it is crucial to harness intelligent technologies not only to enhance the industry but also to simplify the experience for tourists themselves. One aspect of simplification that would greatly benefit every tourist exploring a new city is a tool capable of suggesting an optimal sequence for visiting the city's best attractions. This tool would take into account the personal preferences of the tourist as well as the spatial context of the city. In this research, we present findings that are pertinent to the development of such a tool and propose an initial approach to provide these functionalities. Our proposed solution involves applying a relevant variant of the Vehicle Routing Problem with Pickup and Delivery (VRPP) or the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) algorithm. By leveraging user-supplied preferences and extracting relevant information from external factors, we aim to assist users in planning their optimal viewing experiences. To realize this solution, we envision creating a modern web application utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The primary focus of this application would be to generate optimal tourist routes on a per-city basis. This means that the tool would prioritize suggesting viewing sequences for tourist attractions within the city where the user is staying or traveling through, as well as attractions in close proximity to the city. Our research aims to contribute to the ongoing wave of technological automation in the tourism sector by developing a tool that simplifies the planning process for tourists. By leveraging advanced algorithms and a modern web application, we strive to provide an optimal viewing sequence of attractions based on individual preferences and the spatial context of the city. © 2023 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

The recruitment process presents a significant challenge for Human Resource (HR) staff, particularly in their ability to objectively assess candidate competencies and align them with job requirements. While qualitative comparisons between resumes and position requirements may yield candidates who appear suitable, this approach proves ineffective in terms of time and cost. Furthermore, many recruiters lack sufficient knowledge of the positions they are hiring for, making it difficult to justify their selection decisions. This research aims to address this challenge by developing an HR person-job matching application for the recruitment of prospective employees. The study focuses on analyzing and designing applications that can quantitatively measure the competencies of candidates and compare them with job requirements using a person-job matching method. The effectiveness of this approach was evaluated by testing it on a sample of employees from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The study found that out of the 16 employees across three job positions, the person-job matching application achieved an accuracy rate of 75%. This accuracy percentage was determined by comparing the fit value results with the actual conditions of the employees in their respective workplaces. The findings highlight the potential of the HR person-job matching application to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment efforts. © 2023 IEEE.

Multi-object tracking (MOT) in computer vision remains a significant challenge, requiring precise localization and continuous tracking of multiple objects in video sequences. The emergence of data sets that emphasize robust reidentification, such as DanceTrack, has highlighted the need for effective solutions. While memory-based approaches have shown promise, they often suffer from high computational complexity and memory usage due to storing feature at every single frame. In this paper, we propose a novel memory-based approach that selectively stores critical features based on object motion and overlapping awareness, aiming to enhance efficiency while minimizing redundancy. As a result, our method not only store longer temporal information with limited number of stored features in the memory, but also diversify states of a particular object to enhance the association performance. Our approach significantly improves over MOTRv2 in the DanceTrack test set, demonstrating a gain of 2.0% AssA score and 2.1% in IDF1 score. © 2024 IEEE.

Medical image encryption is a mandatory process in various healthcare, Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) and cloud services. This paper provides a robust cryptosystem based on a 3D chaotic map for the medical image encryption in secure IoMT and cloud services. The proposed encryption method depends on a 3D chaotic map. With this map, a nonlinear ciphering process is implemented for pixel value diffusion and position permutation. Five operations are conducted in the suggested cryptosystem on the medical images to be transmitted in order to attain a high security level. These operations are 3D chaos generation, chaos histogram equalization, row rotation, column rotation, and XOR operation. To validate the suggested cryptosystem, different medical images with different characteristics are tested. Moreover, the suggested cryptosystem and more recent state-of-the-art security systems are discussed and analyzed in a comparative study. Different assessment parameters are adopted to assess the suggested cryptosystem, which reveals high security performance. The simulation outcomes show that the suggested cryptosystem is trustworthy. Furthermore, it offers high robustness levels and recommended security levels for utilization in healthcare, IoMT and cloud service applications. It is observed that the amount of average entropy obtained by the proposed 3D chaos cryptosystem is 7.95 which is very close to its best value of 8, and the average NPCR value is 99.62% which is also much close to its supreme value of 99.60%. In addition, all other results scored for the test evaluation parameters on the suggested cryptosystem are superior to those of the traditional security systems. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2022.

Structural testing is one of the testing techniques in software testing. It is the testing process of internal structure in the given source code by comparing the expected result and real results and finding out faults. To complete the structural testing, it takes a long time and needs to improve code coverage. Thus, this paper focus on improving code coverage of structural testing by using parametric inter-procedural slicing with backward slicing technique. In program slicing, there are two types of slicing: forward and backward slicing depending on the slicing direction. In this paper, backward slicing is used and it starts at the criteria for the slice consideration. The parametric inter-procedural slicing is one of the program slicing techniques which is an algorithm that takes the slice criteria as a parameter and work to handle inter-procedural data flow by considering many possible dependence relations. By slicing the original input program before measuring code coverage, the input program is simplified and excluded unexecutable statements. Therefore, the proposed system in this paper can reduce the complexity of the source code and improve code coverage for structural testing. Moreover, the used dataset in experiment is benchmark dataset in C and it is converted to Java for the improvement of language oriented. © 2023 IEEE.

Video and image quality improvement using an enhanced optimized dehazing technique

The detrimental effects of atmospheric haze frequently plague outdoor imagery. This phenomenon arises from the scattering of light by minute particles within the ambient environment surrounding the scene to be imaged. Haze engenders an overall whitening of the image, leading to diminished contrast. To address these issues and enhance the quality of hazy images and videos, an enhanced dehazing technique is proposed. The proposed technique includes image enhancement before the optimal dehazing process. The enhancement stage entails the implementation of both homomorphic processing and Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE), serving to control the image dynamic range, while concurrently heightening the image contrast. The culminating stage encompasses an optimized dehazing technique, adept at expunging haze-induced artifacts from images. The homomorphic processing and CLAHE, applied in the pre-processing step, establish a foundation for the subsequent dehazing procedure. This proposed methodology is systematically applied to a gamut of visual outputs, including visible videos, Near-Infrared (NIR) frames, and authentic hazy images. Comparative evaluations of the proposed technique, homomorphic-processing-based enhanced dehazing, and standalone dehazing techniques is undertaken on different video types encompassing five frames. It is evident that the proposed technique, synergizing the homomorphic processing, CLAHE, and dehazing, outperforms alternative strategies. Furthermore, the proposed technique is subjected to a comparative study with various existing dehazing techniques over real hazy images. The assessment depends on Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), correlation, and entropy metrics. The results underscore the efficacy of the proposed technique, particularly in terms of spectral entropy enhancement of dehazed frames. For both visible and NIR frames, the percentages of enhancement by the proposed technique are 17.66% and 118.48%, respectively. ©
