Accurate identification of plant diseases is important for ensuring the safety of agricultural *** neural networks(CNNs)and visual transformers(VTs)can extract effective representations of images and have been widely used for the intelligent recognition of plant disease ***,CNNs have excellent local perception with poor global perception,and VTs have excellent global perception with poor local *** makes it difficult to further improve the performance of both CNNs and VTs on plant disease recognition *** this paper,we propose a local and global feature-aware dual-branch network,named LGNet,for the identification of plant *** specifically,we first design a dual-branch structure based on CNNs and VTs to extract the local and global ***,an adaptive feature fusion(AFF)module is designed to fuse the local and global features,thus driving the model to dynamically perceive the weights of different ***,we design a hierarchical mixed-scale unit-guided feature fusion(HMUFF)module to mine the key information in the features at different levels and fuse the differentiated information among them,thereby enhancing the model's multiscale perception ***,extensive experiments were conducted on the Al Challenger 2018 dataset and the self-collected corn disease(SCD)*** experimental results demonstrate that our proposed LGNet achieves state-of-the-art recognition performance on both the Al Challenger 2018 dataset and the SCD dataset,with accuracies of 88.74％and 99.08％,respectively.

This study examines the growing number of satellites, this paper explores the importance of satellite tracking and highlights NOAA-15 for information transmission and weather monitoring. It offers a low-cost configuration for receiving circularly polarized signals, using a Software Defined Radio (SDR) at 137.62 MHz and a V-dipole antenna. The directional characteristics of the V-dipole maximize capture efficiency by improving signal reception during particular satellite orbits. The flexible SDR, in particular the RTL SDR USB dongle, is used to detail signal decoding for Automatic Picture Transmission (APT), allowing for effective processing and tracking. High-quality APT photos are produced by this hardware-software integration, highlighting NOAA's crucial role in international weather forecasting. The study also emphasizes how simple and inexpensive it is to use the V-dipole antenna to receive NOAA weather satellite signals. © 2024 IEEE.

This article supplies a proposed approach Neuro Fuzzy Controller (NFC)-Adaptive Backstepping Controller (ABC)-Space Vector Modulation (SVM) for a five-level NPC inverter-Double Stator Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (DSIPMSM). This paper’s primary objective is to enhance DSIPMSM’s performance by the use of strong control using the proposed approach. Given its benefits—including high torque density, high efficiency, high power density, and minimal maintenance—DSIPMSM, have recently been the focus of much research. Using the input-output linearization approach and Lyapunov stability theory, asymptotically stable trajectory-following dynamics are demonstrated using nonlinear adaptive backstepping control. The use of fuzzy logic and intelligence-based controllers are increasingly being used to enhance traditional control’s performance and output. In addition, the fuzzy logic controller has a lot of flaws that are presently being fixed by the extremely effective NFC tool. The proposed method’s worth was demonstrated by the simulation results in terms of durability, effective tracking dynamics, precision, and good disturbance rejection with little ripple.

Alzheimer's disease is the primary cause of dementia. Due to the sluggish rate of progression of Alzheimer's disease, individuals have the opportunity to start receiving therapy early through routine testing. procedures since they are pricy and difficult to find. For many slowly advancing disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease (AD), the capacity to recognise changes in disease progression is essential. Machine learning methods with a high degree of modularity were used throughout the pipeline. We propose the use of Neutrosophic hidden Markov models (NHMMs) to simulate disease progression in a more thorough manner than the clinical phases of the disease. Due to the complexity and ambiguity of reality, decision-makers find it challenging to draw conclusions from precise data. Since they cannot be computed directly, the variables are encoded using a single interval Neutrosophic set. We showed that the trained HMM can imitate sickness development more accurately than the commonly acknowledged clinical phases. © (2023). All Rights Reserved.

The widespread availability of digital multimedia data has led to a new challenge in digital *** source camera identification algorithms usually rely on various traces in the capturing ***,these traces have become increasingly difficult to extract due to wide availability of various image processing *** Neural Networks(CNN)-based algorithms have demonstrated good discriminative capabilities for different brands and even different models of camera ***,their performances is not ideal in case of distinguishing between individual devices of the same model,because cameras of the same model typically use the same optical lens,image sensor,and image processing algorithms,that result in minimal overall *** this paper,we propose a camera forensics algorithm based on multi-scale feature fusion to address these *** proposed algorithm extracts different local features from feature maps of different scales and then fuses them to obtain a comprehensive feature *** representation is then fed into a subsequent camera fingerprint classification *** upon the Swin-T network,we utilize Transformer Blocks and Graph Convolutional Network(GCN)modules to fuse multi-scale features from different stages of the backbone ***,we conduct experiments on established datasets to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Sports Science is an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary science that strives to increase athletic performance and endurance. Sport Science recognizes and prevents injuries. Sensors and statistics formalize Sports Science. Runners need coaches and teams to support them before, during, and after the run race. Coaches generate running training plans to boost performance. Running race performances may be impacted by air pollution exposure while training, so coaches should consider limiting air pollution exposure when training. One of the external factors is Particulate Matter (PM2.5 and PM10). Sensors connecting to the Internet can record external factors and produce csv data. The foundation of supervised machine learning is the labeling process. Labeling a set of data is one of the laborious and time-consuming phases in every machine-learning application because it requires verifying the accuracy of the labels and making any necessary revisions. This research aimed to find a solution to automatically label numerous air particulate matter raw data using a rule based on parameters to reduce manual work, human errors and faster processes. This labeled data will later be used for supervised machine learning classification to support the coach in generating training programs for the runners in a Sports information System. Based on Indonesia Air Quality index rule-based approach, labeled text data in csv has been generated and tested with PM2.5 and PM10 parameters in three scenarios with a 100% success rate. It was possible to automate the labeling process, and it explained how automation results in fast and accurate results. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes a pulse-modulated controller that generates, under stationary conditions, a desired sequence of uniform and equidistant impulsive control actions from continuous measurements of the output of a smooth nonlinear time-invariant positive single-input single-output plant of Wiener structure. The proposed controller is applied to the dosing of the drug atracurium in closed-loop neuromuscular blockade and its performance is studied on a database of patient-specific pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic models previously estimated from clinical data. © 2024 IEEE.

Wireless federated learning (FL) is a collaborative machine learning (ML) framework in which wireless client-devices independently train their ML models and send the locally trained models to the FL server for aggregation. In this paper, we consider the coexistence of privacy-sensitive client-devices and privacy-insensitive yet computing-resource constrained client-devices, and propose an FL framework with a hybrid centralized training and local training. Specifically, the privacy-sensitive client-devices perform local ML model training and send their local models to the FL server. Each privacy-insensitive client-device can have two options, i.e., (i) conducting a local training and then sending its local model to the FL server, and (ii) directly sending its local data to the FL server for the centralized training. The FL server, after collecting the data from the privacy-insensitive client-devices (which choose to upload the local data), conducts a centralized training with the received datasets. The global model is then generated by aggregating (i) the local models uploaded by the client-devices and (ii) the model trained by the FL server centrally. Focusing on this hybrid FL framework, we firstly analyze its convergence feature with respect to the client-devices' selections of local training or centralized training. We then formulate a joint optimization of client-devices' selections of the local training or centralized training, the FL training configuration (i.e., the number of the local iterations and the number of the global iterations), and the bandwidth allocations to the client-devices, with the objective of minimizing the overall latency for reaching the FL convergence. Despite the non-convexity of the joint optimization problem, we identify its layered structure and propose an efficient algorithm to solve it. The exponential growth of astronomical datasets provides an unprecedented opportunity for humans to gain insight into the ***,effectively analyzing this vast amount of data poses a significant *** response,astronomers are turning to deep learning techniques,but these methods are limited by their specific training sets,leading to considerable duplicate *** overcome this issue,we built a framework for the general analysis of galaxy images based on a large vision model(LVM)plus downstream tasks(DST),including galaxy morphological classification,image restoration object detection,parameter extraction,and *** the low signal-to-noise ratios of galaxy images and the imbalanced distribution of galaxy categories,we designed our LVM to incorporate a Human-in-the-loop(HITL)module,which leverages human knowledge to enhance the reliability and interpretability of processing galaxy images *** proposed framework exhibits notable fewshot learning capabilities and versatile adaptability for all the abovementioned tasks on galaxy images in the DESI Legacy Imaging *** particular,for the object detection task,which was trained using 1000 data points,our DST in the LVM achieved an accuracy of 96.7%,while ResNet50 plus Mask R-CNN reached an accuracy of 93.1%.For morphological classification,to obtain an area under the curve(AUC)of~0.9,LVM plus DST and HITL only requested 1/50 of the training sets that ResNet18 *** addition,multimodal data can be integrated,which creates possibilities for conducting joint analyses with datasets spanning diverse domains in the era of multi-messenger astronomy.
