The automation of business process modelling has become crucial for organizations seeking to improve their operational efficiency. This research presents a novel methodology that leverages fine-tuned GPT models to automate the conversion of textual business process descriptions into Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) diagrams. The study builds on previous work, addressing gaps related to the handling of unstructured text and the absence of anaphora resolution in our solution we use fine-tuned GPT models to accurately extract and structure business process activities from text input from end users, which are then converted into BPMN diagrams using a custom generation framework. The evaluation results demonstrate the system's accuracy with an average precision of 80%, recall of 76%, and F1 score of 78%. These findings outline the potential of using advanced language models to streamline business process modelling, offering significant improvements in accuracy and efficiency. The research concludes by suggesting enhancements for future iterations, including fine-tuning with advanced models and expanding support for complex BPMN elements, aiming to further optimize workflow for organizations. © 2024 IEEE.

The Disease Prediction System revolutionizes healthcare with advanced machine learning techniques for early detection of skin diseases, notably focusing on skin cancer. Through image processing and Transfer Learning, it excels in identifying potential malignancies, enabling timely interventions. Its capabilities extend to benign tumors and growth disorders, utilizing the ResNet50 Model for precise identification. Additionally, it predicts skin reactions associated with various dermatological conditions, such as Urticaria Hives and Warts, leveraging the efficientnetB0 Model. Integration of the VGG16 Model enhances diagnostic accuracy for inflammatory skin conditions. This holistic approach prioritizes patient-centric care, leveraging diverse datasets and intricate pattern recognition in medical images. The system's proactive nature embodies personalized solutions for early detection, timely intervention, and improved patient outcomes. Medical data are subject to privacy regulations, which severely limit AI specialists who wish to construct decision support systems for medicine. Large amounts of this data are tabular, indicating that they are organized into a table format, where patient records are represented in rows and measured variables in columns. Furthermore, the variables come in different types-some are numerical, while others are categorical. In this work, we introduce a novel method for constructing generators of synthetic tabular data with mixed types. The key point of our approach is the explicit utilization of a latent space to represent the original data. A case study using real medical data is presented. © 2024 The Authors.

This paper proposes an innovative decision support system based on sentiment analysis, specifically designed for the transportation sector. The system employs an aspect-based sentiment analysis approach, which accurately identifies and classifies customer opinions on key transportation service aspects such as comfort, driver behavior, punctuality, and vehicle condition. By integrating the BERT model, known for its advanced natural language processing capabilities, our system provides an in-depth and reliable analysis of customer sentiments. This analysis enables managers and decision-makers to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of the provided transportation services and to precisely target areas that require improvement. By offering actionable insights, our approach aims to enhance the user experience, improve service quality, and increase overall customer satisfaction. © 2024 IEEE.

This study addresses the critical aspect of data collection within Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), which consist of autonomous, compact sensor devices deployed to monitor environmental conditions. These networks have limited processing capacity, storage, short-range communication capabilities, and constrained battery power. A primary challenge in WSN s revolves around data gathering, particularly when employing static sinks, leading to premature energy depletion in nodes near these sinks. Integrating mobile collectors introduces the potential for energy conservation by shortening data routes. This article introduces three distinct algorithms for optimizing data collection in WSN s. Our approach involves an in-depth analysis of diverse strategies to mitigate packet collisions and facilitate the retransmission of lost packets. Our findings underscore the considerable impact that packet collisions can exert on the overall network performance during data gathering within wireless sensor networks. Through empirical exploration and analysis, we highlight the significance of these algorithms in enhancing the efficiency, energy conservation, and reliability of data collection processes within WSNs. This research sheds light on these algorithms' vital role in addressing the pressing challenges of data gathering and network performance optimization in wireless sensor networks. © 2024 IEEE.

The development of Decision Support systems (DSS) for several companies operating in sectors such as tourism, healthcare, or others, presents significant challenges due to the nature of their multi-component architecture. A typical DSS consists of a data component, a model component incorporating machine learning and deep learning techniques, and a user interface component, each one requires diverse technologies. This complexity increases development time and effort, hindering the efficient design of DSS tailored to specific domains like tourism, where real-time decision-making is essential. One promising approach to overcome these challenges is the use of Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs). DSLs allow developers to model and generate code more efficiently by providing high-level abstractions suited to the domain. By leveraging DSLs, it is possible to simplify the design process and automate the generation of code or parts of the DSS, thereby reducing the overall complexity and time required for development. This paper proposes a metamodel for designing DSS, specifically for the Smart Tourism sector. The metamodel serves as a foundation for the creation of DSL. The goal is to provide a solution to facilitate the development of DSS for the demands of tourism. The paper outlines the key concepts, approach, and results, presenting the first element of the proposed DSL which is the metamodel capturing the essential components and relationships for DSS in Smart Tourism. © 2024 IEEE.

Stress tolerance plays a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness of piezoresistive sensing films used in flexible pressure ***,existing methods for enhancing stress tolerance employ dome-shaped,wrinkle-shaped,and pyramidal-shaped microstructures in intricate molding and demolding processes,which introduce significant fabrication challenges and limit the sensing *** address these shortcomings,this paper presents periodic microslits in a sensing film made of multiwalled carbon nanotubes and polydimethylsiloxane to realize ultrahigh stress tolerance with a theoretical maximum of 2.477 MPa and a sensitivity of 18.092 kPa−*** periodic microslits permit extensive deformation under high pressure(e.g.,400 kPa)to widen the detection ***,the periodic microslits also enhance the sensitivity based on simultaneously exhibiting multiple synapses within the sensing interface and between the periodic sensing *** proposed solution is verified by experiments using sensors based on the microslit strategy for wind direction detection,robot movement sensing,and human health *** these experiments,vehicle load detection is achieved for ultrahigh pressure sensing under an ultrahigh pressure of over 400 kPa and a ratio of the contact area to the total area of 32.74%.The results indicate that the proposed microslit strategy can achieve ultrahigh stress tolerance while simplifying the fabrication complexity of preparing microstructure sensing films.
