The Chebyshev semiiterative method (CHSIM) is probably the best known and most often used method for the iterative solution of linear system x = Tx + c, where the spectrum of T is located in a complex line segment [alpha, beta] excluding 1. The asymptotic convergence factor (ACF) of the CHSIM, under a perturbation of [alpha, beta], is considered. Several formulae for the approximation to the ACFs, up to the second order of a perturbation, are derived. This generalizes the results about the sensitivity of the asymptotic rate of convergence to the estimated eigenvalues by Hageman and Young in the case that both alpha and beta are real. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the theoretical results.

It is shown that a separating or order-determining set of states on a quantum logic need not determine the expectations of observables. A formula is derived for the transition probability between states. Using this formula, it is shown that the propositions do not determine the transition probability in a certain sense. The form of the transition probability is derived for pure states on Hilbert space, dominated normal states on a von Neumann algebra, and absolutely continuous states on a measurable space. A metric is defined in terms of the transition probability.

Background: Interoperability in health care is a critical aspect for the exchange of health information. The Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) framework has become widely adopted to provide interoperable data exchange in the health care industry. The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated the significance of interoperable data in tracking patients who have contracted the virus and keeping track of the vaccinated population. Indonesia is one of the many countries that have implemented interoperable data systems to track patients with COVID-19, and it has aspirations to expand the system to other use cases, particularly in the primary health care setting. The primary health care providers in Indonesia include Puskesmas (community health centers) and private clinics. Objective: To promote interoperable health data exchange in the primary health care sector, the Indonesian government has launched the Satusehat project. The goal of the Satusehat platform is to make health data in Indonesia interoperable and exchangeable between health care organizations, particularly Puskesmas and private clinics. Methods: For a successful implementation of the Satusehat platform in Puskesmas and private clinics, it is crucial to understand the challenges that may arise. This study analyzed the pain points of the Satusehat platform based on a content analysis of the Satusehat Social Networking Service Telegram group messages. The study revealed the pain points and suggested existing approaches to address them, which can be used as a proposed design of interoperability for Puskesmas and private clinics, making it easier for these organizations to adopt the Satusehat platform. Results: The pain points identified in this study include issues with the FHIR server, problems with FHIR profile selection, and the mapping of electronic medical record data into standardized data, such as mapping into the Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine Clinical Terminology. In this paper we present a class of rapidly convergent numerical schemes to solve the Sharpe-Lotka model equation from age-dependent population dynamics. This work is based on spline approximation techniques described by Banks and Kappel [3] for functional differential equations. We provide a motivation for and description of a generalized problem which under suitable conditions is equivalent to the Sharpe-Lotka problem, we describe approximation in general which exploits the Hilbert space structure in which the generalized problem is set, and for a particular space of approximating functions we obtains estimates on the rates of convergence.

We present a new approach to measurement theory. Our definition of measurement is motivated by direct laboratory procedures as they are carried out in practice. The theory is developed within the quantum logic framework. This work clarifies an important problem in the quantum logic approach; namely, where the Hilbert space comes from. We consider the relationship between measurements and observables, and present a Hilbert space embedding theorem. We conclude with a discussion of charge systems.
