In this paper, the series of α-cut is also known as the α-cut operation used to construct a new model of surface called Fuzzy B-spline Interpolation Series surface. The surface is called Fuzzy B-spline Interpolation Series because of the various values of α chosen in the fuzzification method. Then, the operation is combined into a B-spline surface model. This new proposed model will be used to solve spatial earth surface problems in every collected data points. The spatial earth data have values in latitude, longitude and altitude. All these values are considered as uncertainty data because of the satellite's measurement errors. Finally, constructed surfaces' results will be compared between raw data's surface and Fuzzy B-spline Interpolation Series surface.

Torrefaction is a promising process to upgrade biomass and produce solid biofuel. In this study, the fish by-product (Sardinella fimbriata), a fish-processing waste from the food industry highly prevalent in the east coast region of Peninsular Malaysia was investigated in a fixed bed torrefaction reactor with varying reaction temperature (200, 250, and 300°C) under a nitrogen atmosphere and single residence time (30 minutes). The distribution and yield of the biochar, bio-oil, and biogas were examined, and further characterization of the biochar was performed (proximate and ultimate, SEM, and FTIR analysis). The results indicated that with the increased torrefaction temperature, solid char yield decreases down to ∼ 52 % while bio-oil and biogas fluctuate between 7 - 28 % and 21 – 27 &, respectively. The proximate and ultimate analysis of the torrefied solid char showed that the fixed carbon, carbon content increased while volatile matter, moisture, hydrogen, and oxygen content decreased with temperature rise. From the SEM analysis, the torrefaction temperature causes an increase in biochar porosity. Lastly, from the FTIR analysis, it can be seen that there are degradation and formation of certain functional groups such as O-H, C-H, C=C, C=O, C-O, and C-C with torrefaction temperature variations.

Looking forward to the abovementioned conditions, this research is needed to elaborate on the effects of the reclamation to the marine resources in Teluk Lamong Multipurpose Port Terminal as the reclaimed product. In order to describe the impact of the port development, this study will analyze the shoreline changing, the current pattern modeling, as well as the Total Suspended Solid (TSS) modeling using the remote sensing data. The several numbers of expected objectives through this study are to get the set of scientific information on the shoreline changing in Teluk Lamong Multipurpose Port Terminal in the year of 2012 and 2020, to get the figure of current pattern in Teluk Lamong Multipurpose Port Terminal in the year of 2012 and 2020, and to elaborate TSS concentration through the modeling approach in Teluk Lamong Multipurpose Port Terminal in the year of 2012 and 2020. Hence, there is a set of methodologies and tools to cooperate with the information before and after the reclamation. The use of the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) software to analyze coastline conditions. The using of Mike 21 to analyze the current pattern and TSS concentrations. In addition to the TSS analysis, it will also need a set of remote sensing data from the Google Earth Engine (GEE). The modeling and calculation give information about the End Point Rate (EPR) values and TSS values. The EPR values are 107.5 m/year, 59,625 m/year and 10,375 m / year. The TSS values are 0-20 mg/L, 20.1-40 mg/L, 40.1-80 mg/L, 80.1-120 mg/L and >120.1 mg/L. Moreover, the result shows the different values among the length of coastline, the current pattern, and TTS in the years 2012 and 2020. The difference in the coastline reaches 950 m at this latest 8 years. While it also brings the changing to the current pattern and sediment transport which show through its current velocity and sediment content per liter of seawater during high and low tide accordingly.

This paper discusses about the driving data collection and development for Kuala Terengganu city using MATLAB Mobile application. The objectives of this paper are; to collect the driving data along the main road in Kuala Terengganu city using MATLAB Mobile application, to analysis the driving data stored in the cloud of MATLAB Mobile application and lastly to develop a Kuala Terengganu Driving Cycle. The methodology involves three major steps which are; driving data collection, driving data analysis and driving cycle development. The KTDC is successfully developed with average speed of 48.92 km/h and total of nine micro trips.

Starting 2020, the whole world faced covid-19 pandemic that was spreading across countries including Malaysia. Because of this pandemic, Malaysia government take immediate action to declare Movement Control order (MCO). This MCO gave seriously impact to almost sectors in Malaysia including economic, social and also education sector. We believed that, the students’ performance become decrease during MCO. Although classes were continued online, teaching and learning activities are believed less effective than face-to-face classes. This study was conducted to measure the secondary school students’ performance during MCO for Mathematics subject. There were 2 set of mathematics score data before and during MCO considered in this study. The independent T-test was conducted to test is there any significant difference of performance between gender for both data sets. Meanwhile, the paired T-test was conducted to evaluate the significant different of student performance before and during MCO. It was found that, there was significant different of students’ performance before and during MCO which, the performance during MCO become declined. One of the possible factor that was gave significant effect to the student’ performance was lack of effectiveness teaching and learning activities using online platform. So, for future research, a study should be done in order to indicate the significant factor that give effect to students’ performance if teaching and learning activities carried out online.

The profile of wall shear stress in non-Newtonian fluid which power law fluid through a cosine shape stenosis is analysed in this study. This study also reveals the effect of magnetic field as an external force on wall shear stress. Wall shear stress is an important flow characteristic in order to determine the behavior of blood. The governing equations employing the blood flow in the cylindrical coordinate system and then solved by finite difference scheme in staggered grid known as Marker and Cell (MAC) method. The influence of various parameters on wall shear stress profile are evaluated via graphical results. The results show that wall shear stress increases when magnetic field applied and higher at the stenotic region.

This paper proposes an extension of TODIM (interactive multi-criteria decision making) under group decision making (GDM) using the Linguistic Aggregation Majority Additive (LAMA) operator. TODIM is an effective method in modelling experts' psychological behaviour in the decision-making process. However, under the GDM, the method is based solely on the average of all experts' judgments without any consideration to soft aggregation processes that include majority and/or minority concepts. In this work, the LAMA operator is used to be integrated with TODIM-GDM to aggregate the experts' opinions with respect to the majority concept under the linguistic domain. This is to provide a greater flexibility in reaching a consensus instead of only considering equally average using the classical averaging operators. Two linguistic representations, namely, symbolic approach and 2-tuple linguistic approach for LAMA operator are proposed to be utilised in the method. A numerical example in investment selection problem is provided to illustrate the applicability of the proposed method. Finally, the comparison of these two linguistic approaches is presented. The results show that LAMA under the 2-tuple linguistic approach is preferable to the symbolic approach in case of there is a tie between alternatives in the final ranking.

The Nickel-Niobium Pentoxide Composite Coating is formed by electrochemically depositing nickel (Ni) and niobium pentoxide (Nb2O5). An investigation was conducted on corrosion resistance, microhardness, roughness, and deposit morphology. A comparison was made between composites and pure nickel coatings in scratch and contact angle tests. There is a homogeneous particle distribution with a maximum particle size of 99.27 µm in the coating. Adding Nb2O5particles to the composite coating improved corrosion resistance with a maximum inhibitory efficiency of 87.9%. An increase of 44% in microhardness was observed for the Ni-Nb2O5composite coating. The scratch test revealed no adhesion cracks and delamination at the surface of the cracks. The composite coating exhibited a hydrophobic nature in the contact angle measurement.

In our article, we study the line graph of one of the families of Polyphenylene dendrimer, namely D3[n]. We also compute their topological indices of the line graph of Polyphenylene dendrimer. In additional, to makes more interesting, we analyzed and showed the behavior of above computed topological indices towards Polyphenylene dendrimer.
