This paper presents a new IOT system for monitoring and controlling plant cultivation in greenhouse system. The system aims to regulate and monitor the environmental conditions suitable for plant cultivation in real-time. The system utilizes sensors to measure environmental conditions, such as soil moisture sensor, light intensity sensor, temperature sensor, and air humidity sensor. The Node MCU ESP32 is used for processing and controlling these operations. The system is designed to send notifications through Line application and allows farmers to monitor the system's performance and plant growth in real-time via a smartphone application. It can utilize the Blynk IoT application on a smartphone for remotely monitoring and controlling the environmental conditions and provides historical data. This experiment demonstrates that the designed system can successfully cultivate plants and promote better growth compared to traditional cultivation methods with a 13.38% improvement. Additionally, it provides convenience and ease of management for plant cultivation.

Noninvertibility as a requirement for creating a semigroup under convex combinations of channels

We study the conditions under which a semigroup is obtained upon convex combinations of channels. In particular, we study the set of Pauli and generalized Pauli channels. We find that mixing only semigroups can never produce a semigroup. Counterintuitively, we find that for a convex combination to yield a semigroup, most of the input channels have to be noninvertible.

In this paper, detection of the magnetite rust is presented by using a chipless RFID sensor based on a circular microstrip patch antenna (CMPA). The sensor is designed at the resonant frequency of 4.89 GHz by using a single-layer PCB with its dielectric constant of 4.3. Simulations were conducted to verify that the designed sensor can detect the magnetite rust through shifted resonant frequency. In simulations, the sensor was mounted on the iron with its magnetite rust. The width and depth of iron rust were varied in order to investigate the effect of iron rust on the resonant frequency. Simulation results have been shown that the proposed chipless RFID sensor and RCS’ can be utilized to detect the effect of the iron rust.

The detection of magnons and their quantum properties, especially in antiferromagnetic (AFM) materials, is a substantial step to realize many ambitious advances in the study of nanomagnetism and the development of energy efficient quantum technologies. The recent development of hybrid systems based on superconducting circuits provides the possibility of engineering quantum sensors that exploit different degrees of freedom. Here, we examine the magnon-photon-transmon hybridisation based on bipartite AFM materials, which gives rise to an effective coupling between a transmon qubit and magnons in a bipartite AFM. We demonstrate how magnetically invisible magnon modes, their chiralities and quantum properties such as nonlocality and two-mode magnon entanglement in bipartite AFMs can be characterized through the Rabi frequency of the superconducting transmon qubit. © 2023, CC BY.

While entanglement between distant parties has been extensively studied, entangled measurements have received relatively little attention despite their significance in understanding non-locality and their central role in quantum computation and networks. We present a systematic study of entangled measurements, providing a complete classification of all equivalence classes of iso-entangled bases for projective joint measurements on 2 qubits. The application of this classification to the triangular network reveals that the Elegant Joint Measurement, along with white noise, is the only measurement resulting in output permutation invariant probability distributions when the nodes are connected by Werner states. Stochastic gravitational wave background anisotropies from inflation with non-Bunch-Davies states

It has been known that stochastic gravitational wave backgrounds (SGWBs) have anisotropies generated by squeezed-type tensor non-Gaussianities originating from scalar-tensor-tensor (STT) and tensor-tensor-tensor cubic interactions. While the squeezed tensor non-Gaussianities in the standard slow-roll inflation with the Bunch-Davies vacuum state are suppressed due to the so-called consistency relation, those in extended models with the violation of the consistency relation can be enhanced. Among such extended models, we consider the inflation model with the non-Bunch-Davies state that has been known to enhance the squeezed tensor non-Gaussianities. We explicitly formulate the primordial STT bispectrum induced during inflation in the context of Horndeski theory with the non-Bunch-Davies state and show that the induced SGWB anisotropies can be enhanced. We then discuss the detectability of those anisotropies in future gravitational wave experiments. © 2024, CC BY.

We analyze the set of real and complex Hadamard matrices with additional symmetry constrains. In particular, we link the problem of existence of maximally entangled multipartite states of 2k subsystems with d levels each to the set of complex Hadamard matrices of order N = dk. To this end, we investigate possible subsets of such matrices which are, dual, strongly dual (H = HR or H = HΓ), two-unitary (HR and HΓ are unitary), or k-unitary. Here XR denotes reshuffling of a matrix X describing a bipartite system, and XΓ its partial transpose. Glioblastoma (GB) is a malignant brain tumor and requires surgical resection. Although complete resection of GB improves prognosis, supratotal resection may cause neurological abnormalities. Therefore, intraoperative tissue classification techniques are needed to delineate infected tumor regions to remove reoccurrences. To delineate the affected regions, surgeons mostly rely on traditional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) which often lacks accuracy and precision due to the brain-shift phenomenon. Hyperspectral Imaging (HSI) is a noninvasive advanced optical technique and has the potential to classify tissue cells accurately. However, HSI tumor classification is challenging due to overlapping regions, high interclass similarity, and homogeneous information. Additionally, HSI models using 2D Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models works with spectral information eliminating spatial features and 3D followed by 2D hybrid model lacks abstract level spatial information. Therefore, in this study, we have used a minimal layer 3D CNN model to classify the GB tumor region from normal tissues using an intraoperative VivoHSI dataset. The HSI data have normal tissue (NT), tumor tissue (TT), hypervascularized tissue or blood vessels (BV), and background (BG) tissue cells. The proposed 3D CNN model consists of only two 3D layers using limited training samples (20%), which are further divided into 50% for training and 50% for validation and blind tested (80%) on the rest of the data. This study outperformed then state-of-the-art hybrid architecture by achieving an overall accuracy of 99.99%.

The stochastic trajectories of molecules in living cells, as well as the dynamics in many other complex systems, often exhibit memory in their path over long periods of time. In addition, these systems can show dynamic heterogeneities due to which the motion changes along the trajectories. Such effects manifest themselves as spatiotemporal correlations. Despite the broad occurrence of heterogeneous complex systems in nature, their analysis is still quite poorly understood and tools to model them are largely missing. We contribute to tackling this problem by employing an integral representation of Mandelbrot’s fractional Brownian motion that is compliant with varying motion parameters while maintaining long memory. Two types of switching fractional Brownian motion are analysed, with transitions arising from a Markovian stochastic process and scale-free intermittent processes. We obtain simple formulas for classical statistics of the processes, namely the mean squared displacement and the power spectral density. Further, a method to identify switching fractional Brownian motion based on the distribution of displacements is described. A validation of the model is given for experimental measurements of the motion of quantum dots in the cytoplasm of live mammalian cells that were obtained by single-particle tracking. © 2023, CC BY.

The deviation of the decay law from the exponential is a well known effect ofquantum mechanics. Here we analyze the relativistic survival probabilities,$S(t,p)$, where $p$ is the momentum of the decaying particleand provide analytical expressions for $S(t,p)$ in the exponential (E) aswell as the nonexponential (NE) regions at small and large *** minimal assumptions onthe spectral density function, analytical expressions for thecritical times of transition from the NE to the E at small times and theE to NE at large times are *** dependence of the decay law on the relativistic Lorentz factor,$\gamma = 1/\sqrt{1 - v^2/c^2}$, revealsseveral interesting features. In the short time regime of the decay law,the critical time, $\tau_{st}$, shows a steady increase with $\gamma$, thusimplying a larger NE region for particles decaying in flight. Comparing$S(t,p)$ with the well known time dilation formula,$e^{-\Gamma t/\gamma}$, in the exponential region, an expression for thecritical $\gamma$ where $S(t,p)$ deviates most from $e^{-\Gamma t/\gamma}$ ispresented. This is a purely quantum correction. Under particular conditionson the resonance parameters, there also exists a critical $\gamma$ at largetimes which decides if the NE region shifts backward or forward in time ascompared to that for a particle at *** the above analytical results are supported by calculations involvingrealistic decays of hadrons and leptons. © 2024, The Authors.
