We employ two models of the nucleon-nucleon force: the OPE-Gaussian as well as the chiral N4LO and N4LO+ interactions with semilocal regularization in momentum space to study correlations among two-nucleon and three-nucleon elastic scattering observables. These models contain a number of free parameters whose values and covariance matrices are evaluated from a fit to the two-nucleon data. Such detailed knowledge of parameters allows us to create, using various sets of statistically generated parameters, numerous versions of these potentials and next apply them to two- and three-nucleon scattering to make predictions of various observables at the reaction energies up to 200 MeV. This permits a systematic analysis of correlations among two-nucleon and three-nucleon observables, basing on a relatively big sample of predictions. We found that most observables in neutron-proton and neutron-deuteron systems are uncorrelated, but there are exceptions revealing strong correlations, which depend on the reaction energy and scattering angle. This information may be useful for precise fixing free parameters of two-nucleon and three-nucleon forces and for understanding dependencies and correlations between potential parameters and observables. © 2022, CC BY.

Water and Moganite Distribution in Agates from Bou Hamza, Morocco: Constraints from a Combined Microscopic and Spectroscopic Study

The monocentric agates from Bou Hamza (Morocco), hosted by Triassic basaltic rocks, are mainly composed of length-fast (LF) chalcedony, involving non-twisted (,,normal") and wall-lining twisted (,,zebraic") one. The ,,zebraic" type is further interbedded with minor length-slow (LS) chalcedony (quartzine). Apart from chalcedonic silica, the agates host recrystallization-related quartz microtextures, i.e. feathery and mosaic (jigsaw-puzzle), as well as prismatic elongated megaquartz. The following study shows the relationship between these forms of SiO2, and moganite and water contents estimated using Raman spectroscopy and Fourier-transformed infrared spectroscopy, respectively. Moganite reaches up to ca. 21 and 31 wt.% in LF ,,normal" and LF ,,zebraic" chalcedony, but only up to ca. 18 wt.% in LS chalcedony. These variations were likely facilitated by the physicochemical fluctuations of circulating fluids (alkalinity and Fe content), self-organization of silica, and/or variable rates of recrystallization. The latter mechanism has also resulted in the fibrosity to granularity transformation developed in LF ,,zebraic" chalcedony, which should be thus considered asa ,,metastable" variety of silica. Feathery and mosaic quartz show low and high moganite contest (i.e. 0 and up to 34 wt.%, respectively) owing to their formation from different precursors (e.g. opaline-rich moganite-poor and chalcedonic moganite-rich, respectively), whilst prismatic megaquartz is impoverished in moganite admixture. The content of total water ranges from ca. 0.4 wt.% in megaquartz to ca. 0.4-0.5 wt.% in chalcedonic silica, and up to 0.6 wt.% in feathery quartz. It mostly embraces molecular water with variable addition of hydrogen-bonded silanol-group water. Meanwhile, these water species appear to compensate each other to produce a relatively stable total water content across chalcedonic bands, as predicted by a condensation reaction of silanols (Si–OH) in a closed system. The Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) method is utilized in this research to present dielectric lens antennas that were 3D printed. The ultra-wideband (UWB) stub antenna's antenna characteristic is intended to be improved by the 3D-printed dielectric lens antennas. The proportion of ethanol in the liquid mixture sample is categorized using the transmission-line measuring technique. The device-under-test (DUT) is placed between two 3D-printed dielectric lens antennas. The glass bottle is filled with a 100-ml liquid sample and covered with a plastic cap. The 3D EM Simulation CST Studio is used to optimize the 10 mm gap between the dielectric lens antennas and the DUT. Six concentrations of the ethanol/water mixture, such as empty, 60%, 65%, 70%, and 80%, are measured to examine the measurement system. The measurement outcomes indicate the various S21 (transmission coefficient) levels between 9 GHz and 11 GHz. According to the trend of the suggested system, the level of the transmission coefficient, S21, will change downward when the proportion of ethanol is increased. Several better advantages, such as a nondestructive method, non-contact measurement, and support with a real-time monitoring system, are provided by the transmission-line measuring methodology using 3D-printed dielectric lens antennas. © 2023 IEEE.

In this work, we investigate the security performance of an underlay cognitive radio network (CRN) with ambient backscatter communication (AmBC), where a backscattering device (BD) shares the spectrum and the receivers with the secondary user. Different from the related work, we consider a secondary user transmitter (ST) with multiple antenna in an AmBC-CRN with multiple receivers and multiple passive eavesdroppers. The ST performs joint antenna-user selection to enhance its security performance and overcome the performance degradation caused by BD interference. Considering the Nakagami-m fading model, closed-form expressions are derived for the secrecy outage probability for both the ST and the BD transmissions. Monte Carlo simulations are performed to validate the derived closed-form expressions. Numerical results show that employing joint antenna-user selection enhances the ST security performance by exploiting antenna and user diversity. © 2024 IEEE.

Numerical Model Of Harmonic Hall Voltage Detection For Spintronic Devices

We present a numerical macrospin model for harmonic voltage detection in multilayer spintronic devices. The core of the computational backend is based on the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert-Slonczewski equation, which combines high performance with satisfactory, for large-scale applications, agreement with the experimental results. We compare the simulations with the experimental findings in Ta/CoFeB bilayer system for angular- and magnetic field-dependent resistance measurements, electrically detected magnetisation dynamics, and harmonic Hall voltage detection. Using simulated scans of the selected system parameters such as the polar angle θ, magnetisation saturation (µ0Ms) or uniaxial magnetic anisotropy (Ku) we show the resultant changes in the harmonic Hall voltage, demonstrating the dominating influence of the µ0Ms on the first and second harmonics. In the spin-diode ferromagnetic resonance (SD-FMR) technique resonance method the (µ0Ms, Ku) parameter space may be optimised numerically to obtain a set of viable curves that fit the experimental data. Magnetocrystalline anisotropy is essential in the physics of antiferromagnets and commonly treated as a constant, not depending on an external magnetic field. However, we demonstrate that in CoO the anisotropy should necessarily depend on the magnetic field, which is shown by the spin Hall magnetoresistance of the CoO|Pt device. Below the Néel temperature CoO reveals a spin-flop transition at 240 K at 7.0 T, above which a hysteresis in the angular dependence of magnetoresistance unexpectedly persists up to 30 T. This behavior is shown to agree with the presence of the unquenched orbital momentum, which can play an important role in antiferromagnetic spintronics.

Pathway for Unraveling Chemical Composition Effects of Metal-Organic Precursors for FIBID Applications

The development of modern metal deposition techniques like Focused Ion/Electron Beam Induced Deposition FIBID/FEBID relies heavily on the availability of metal-organic precursors of particular properties. To create a new precursor, extensive testing under specialized gas injection systems is required along with time-consuming and costly chemical analysis typically conducted using scanning electron microscopes. This process can be quite challenging due to its complexity and expense. Here, we present a method for investigating the chemical composition effects of new metal-organic precursors, prepared in form of supported thick layers, used in FIBID/FEBID applications by utilizing achievable SEM BSE/EDX analysis along with Machine Learning data processing techniques. This approach enables a comprehensive fast examination of decomposition processes during FIBID, providing valuable insights into how these chemical composition effects impact the final properties of metallic deposits. Our method can be employed to optimize, prescreen, and score new potential precursors for FIBID applications by significantly reducing the time required and conserving valuable resources. Our finding brings also new perspectives across diverse areas of nanoscience in particularly enhancing strongly the field of metal structures nanofabrication. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All data sent to and from IOT devices, (as well as any data held), must be encrypted in order to enhance the security of IOT devices. At the moment, elliptic curve cryptosystems (ECCs) are used as fundamental building blocks to secure communication in the Internet of Things. Yet, forthcoming quantum computers can quickly compromise public key systems like ECC. We should take action right away to get the IOT ready for the quantum future due to recent developments in quantum computing. This paper at first will give a brief overview on Crystal - Kyber, SIKE and BIKE algorithm which are among the NIST's third round candidate. Then the comparison of these three on the basis of key size, computational power and memory requirement. Finally a recommendation on the most suitable algorithm for making IoT secure in quantum world. © 2023 IEEE.

We studied the evolution of jets within a medium that contains both, transverse kicks as well as medium induced coherent radiation. In this framework parton branching occurs simultaneously to scatterings within the medium, leading to the interference effects that reproduce the well known BDMPS-Z emission rates and sizeable transverse momentum broadening. We examined the relative importances of transverse momentum broadening from the coherent splittings and different types of in-medium scatterings and found a clear hierarchy of the influences from different scattering effects and deflections during branchings. © Copyright owned by the author(s) under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)
