A new and efficient method of designing the transmultiplexer filters is presented. The bilinear equations posed for the FIR filters are solved to achieve perfect reconstruction. For a given combining filter bank a separation filter bank can be developed by solving a set of algebraic equations. Some examples of a two-channel and four-channel transmultiplexer system are provided to illustrate the method of filter bank designing. Due to the incorporation of integer filters a perfect reconstruction was realized and crosstalk was completely eliminated not only theoretically but also in practice. Such transmultiplexers can be applied to coded signals transmission. It is pointed that the orthogonal filters can be obtained as well.

57Fe Mössbauer spectra were recorded on the σ — phase of FexV1−x, x = 0.52 and 0.60 and of FexCr1−x, x = 0.51 and 0.532 in the temperature range 4.3 to 294 K. For the Fe‐V samples, from the temperature dependence of the average centre shift Debye temperatures θD = 457 ± 15 K and 437 ± 30 K were determined for x = 0.52 and 0.60, respectively. Values of θD = 488 ± 15 K and 459 ± 15 K were derived for the Fe‐Cr samples with x = 0.51 and 0.532, respectively. The values are compared with the ones obtained for isostructural Fe‐Cr compounds from previous investigations.

We present experimental results of μ-atomic and μ-molecular processes induced by negative muons in pure helium and helium-deuterium mixtures. The experiment was performed at the Paul Scherrer Institute (Switzerland). We measured relative intensities of muonic x-ray K series transitions in (μHe3,4)* atoms in pure helium as well as in helium-deuterium mixtures. The dμHe3 radiative decay probabilities for two different helium densities in D2+He3 mixture were also determined. Finally, the q1sHe probability for a dμ atom formed in an excited state to reach the ground state was measured and compared with theoretical calculations using a simple cascade model.

We study field-driven dynamics of spins with antiferromagnetic interactions along the links of a complex substrate geometry, which is modeled by graphs of a controlled connectivity distribution. The magnetization reversal occurs in avalanches of spin flips, which are pinned by the topological constraints of the underlying graph. The hysteresis loop and avalanche sizes are analyzed and classified in terms of the graph’s connectivity and clustering. The results are relevant for magnets with a hierarchical spatial inhomogeneity and for design of nanoscale magnetic devices.

In this paper, we consider finite-wordlength effects in a finite-iteration DTCNN (discrete time cellular neural network). Using the digit recognition example, we demonstrate that it is possible to effectively design templates with limited precision. Further, using the digit classification example, we show that the performance is not affected either by truncation to two decimal places in the learning phase/design of templates or the finite precision (8-bit) implementations of the templates.
