Organic solar cells(OSCs)have been developed rapidly in past years,due to the fast evolution of wide-bandgap copoly-mer donors and low-bandgap non-fullerene acceptors[1−9].At present,the highest power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)for single-junction OSCs and tandem OSCs exceed 19%and 20%,respectively[10,11].These OSCs are typically fabricated by us-ing low-boiling-point solvent chloroform(CF)with an effect-ive area<0.1 cm^(2).The doctor-blading deposition is the most advantageous technique to fabricate OSCs with low-boiling-point solvent for upscaling lab cells to industrial-scale mod-ules[12],exhibiting simple operation,low cost,and high materi-al utilization[13−15].Herein,a typical OSC material system PM6:Y6(Fig.1(a))was used to fabricate OSCs modules via doc-tor-blading deposition in ambient condition,and the influ-ence of the ambient temperature and substrate temperature on the film quality was investigated.

We investigate the variations of circuit parameters of photovoltaic (PV) cells containing self-assembled InSb and GaSb quantum dots. The solar cell samples are fabricated by conventional molecular beam epitaxy on (0 0 1) GaAs substrate. The current–voltage ( I-V ) characteristics and the frequency response (10 Hz – 100 kHz) of the fabricated cell is then extracted in dark and illuminated environment. The obtained I-V curves show typical PV properties. The static series and shunt resistances can be then extracted from this measurement result. From the Nyquist plot of the device impedance, both dynamic resistance and capacitance can be further extracted. Variations of these values are quantified. Light-induced lowering of the resistance values are explained by the presence of photogenerated carriers. This work provides a useful information for both the basic understanding of PV devices and the design of electronic circuit for energy harvesting and sensing with PV cells.

Skin cancer represents approximately 7.5% of all cancer cases globally, with conventional therapies often associated with substantial adverse effects. Silibinin, a natural flavonolignan derived from milk thistle seeds, has demonstrated promising anti-cancer properties in preclinical studies. This meta-analysis assesses the therapeutic and preventive potential of silibinin in animal models of skin cancer. A systematic literature search was conducted across PubMed, Embase, Web of science, and Scopus databases (1990–2024) following PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Studies were selected based on PICOS criteria, with tumor volume as the primary outcome and tumor count, incidence rate, proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) expression, and body weight as secondary outcomes. Risk of bias was assessed using the SYRCLE tool. Data were synthesized using a random-effects model, and standardized mean differences (SMDs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated. Seven studies comprising 193 silibinin-treated and 83 control animals were included. Silibinin significantly reduced tumor volume (SMD = − 1.23; 95% CI − 1.44 to − 1.01) with no heterogeneity (I2 = 0%). Significant reductions were also observed in tumor count (SMD = − 2.41; 95% CI − 3.19 to − 1.64) and PCNA expression (SMD = − 3.61; 95% CI − 4.82 to − 2.40), while tumor incidence showed a non-significant decrease. Subgroup analyses indicated no significant differences in tumor volume reduction based on the route or timing of silibinin administration. However, topical application and pre-treatment were more effective in lowering PCNA levels. These findings suggest that silibinin holds significant potential as a preventive and therapeutic agent against skin cancer in preclinical settings.
