Firiza basaltic complex (FBC) is the last volcanic phase (8.1-7.0 Ma) of the Gutâi Volcanic Zone (GVZ) from the Neogene-Quaternary volcanic chain of the Eastern Carpathians (Romania). Nine small dykes of the FBC crosscut older volcanic products (11.3-9.0 Ma) and consist of clinopyroxene + olivine microporphyritic-aphanitic basalts. Overall, the volcanic rocks from GVZ, and Firiza basalts show typical arc/subduction zone-related geochemical features (calc-alkaline) in contrast with the alkali basalts from the Carpathian-Pannonian region (CPR). Based on the chemical composition (SEM-EDS and EMPA) of the studied clinopyroxenes, it is shown that the cores of the clinopyroxene phenocrysts and glomerocrysts are the most primitive (Mg#: 79-91) and alongside the Mg-rich olivine were the first crystallised phases from a basaltic melt. A deep magma source (22-30 km depth) in the lower crust near the MOHO (33-35 km depth in GVZ) is indicated by the crystallization pressure (̴ 5.5-8.5 kbar) obtained for the clinopyroxene *** studying of these clinopyroxene cores with Fourier Transform Infrared spectrometry (FTIR) new information on the ‘water’ content in the deep-seated magma chamber can be obtained. The structural hydroxyl content of the clinopyroxene cores shows relatively high values (105 ‑515 wt. ppm). From the structural hydroxyl content, the equilibrium melt ‘water’ contents were calculated, which show melt ‘water’ contents of 1.85-3.91 wt.% overlapping with the values reported from island arc basalts (IAB) and the values are higher than those from the alkali basalts from the Bakony-Balaton Highland Volcanic Field (BBHVF for short, central CPR). The source ‘water’ content for the FBC basalts calculated for the modal batch model (2300-5200 ppm) and for the modal fractional melting model (2200-4800 ppm ), respectively, are falling into the range of IABs and also higher than the values reported from the BBHVF alkali basalts. These observations can be accounted for the g

Complex economic models often describe the agent's decisions, i.e. choice of some controlled variables in accordance with criteria set by agents. Unlike purely statistical ones, agent-based models allow to describe processes with different modes, in which the agent's behavior changes quali-tatively when the environment (including the actions of other agents) change. The practical use of mathematical models of complex systems with a number of interacting agents is limited by complexity of their construction and possible errors when dealing with multitude of expressions. computer tools, such as the “Ecomod” system discussed in the article, can substantially reduce the time spent on model creation and processing, and help to coordinate the work of several researchers on the model.
