In recent years,wearable devices-based Human Activity Recognition(HAR)models have received significant *** developed HAR models use hand-crafted features to recognize human activities,leading to the extraction of basic *** images captured by wearable sensors contain advanced features,allowing them to be analyzed by deep learning algorithms to enhance the detection and recognition of human *** lighting and limited sensor capabilities can impact data quality,making the recognition of human actions a challenging *** unimodal-based HAR approaches are not suitable in a real-time ***,an updated HAR model is developed using multiple types of data and an advanced deep-learning ***,the required signals and sensor data are accumulated from the standard *** these signals,the wave features are *** the extracted wave features and sensor data are given as the input to recognize the human *** Adaptive Hybrid Deep Attentive Network(AHDAN)is developed by incorporating a“1D Convolutional Neural Network(1DCNN)”with a“Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU)”for the human activity recognition ***,the Enhanced Archerfish Hunting Optimizer(EAHO)is suggested to fine-tune the network parameters for enhancing the recognition *** experimental evaluation is performed on various deep learning networks and heuristic algorithms to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed HAR *** EAHO-based HAR model outperforms traditional deep learning networks with an accuracy of 95.36,95.25 for recall,95.48 for specificity,and 95.47 for precision,*** result proved that the developed model is effective in recognizing human action by taking less ***,it reduces the computation complexity and overfitting issue through using an optimization approach.

Physical, linear/nonlinear optical, dielectric characteristics, and γ-ray-buildup factors of nanocomposites (NCs) sheets of PVC doped with x(Pb0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4) spinel nanoferrites: x = 0–10 wt% and named as PVC/PNF0-PVC/PNF10 have been tested. Density (ρ) changed from 1.405 g·cm−3 to 2.6130 g·cm−3 as x changed from 0.0 to 10 wt%. Optical-energy-gap (Eoptical) diminished from 5.207 to 2.753 eV, whereas the linear index of refraction of (nlinear) increased from 1.962 to 2.405 for PVC/PNF0 and PVC/PNF10 NCs sheets. The nonlinear optical susceptibility (χ3) and nonlinear refractive index (n2optical) of the investigated PVC/PNF-NCs sheets increased as (Pb0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4) content increased. Dielectric spectroscopy of fabricated PVC/PNF-NCs is investigated throughout frequencies from 50 Hz to 5 × 106 Hz at RT. The dielectric-constant was reduced by introduction of Pb0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4. Mass absorption coefficient (MAC) values of PVC/PNF-NCs sheets obeyed the fact that (PVC/PNF0)MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC. The γ-ray exposure, and absorption-buildup factors of the investigated PVC/PNF-NCs sheets followed as (PVC/PNF0)EBF/EABF > (PVC/PNF1)EBF/EABF > (PVC/PNF3)EBF/EABF > (PVC/PNF5)EBF/EABF > (PVC/PNF10)EBF/EABF. Results confirmed that the suggested PVC/PNF-NCs sheets with smallest dielectric constant may implement in electrical cable. In this study, the ozone yield from the ozone generator of a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma technique is investigated. The ozone yield was obtained by varying the parameters, including flow rate, discharge time, and working gases (air and oxygen), to achieve high ozone yield. The flow rate parameter was varied from 2 to 14 L/min, while the discharge time was varied from 2 to 10 min. Then, the yield concentration of ozone from the working gases was measured by the iodometric method. The result showed that the ozone concentration of oxygen was higher than that of air. In addition, the results showed that the ozone concentration increased with increasing flow rate of the working gases at a fixed discharge time, reaching a maximum ozone concentration of about 22.11 mg/L. © 2022

The application of Luoshan shadow puppet elements in creative goods can break through the single communication path of shadow play and make the communication process of Luoshan shadow play art more vivid and 3D. In this paper, based on the design of modeling elements of mountain shadow puppets, the characteristics of visual elements of shadow puppets creative goods are analyzed, and an intelligent design algorithm of shadow puppets creative goods based on deep learning (DL) is innovatively proposed. Based on the design of modeling elements of Luoshan shadow puppets, this paper analyzes the characteristics of visual elements of shadow puppet creative goods, puts forward an intelligent design algorithm of shadow puppet creative goods based on DL, and explores the computer-aided shadow puppets modeling design strategy driven by artificial intelligence. The results show that the F1 value of the algorithm is about 94%, and the efficiency of the algorithm is high. The validity and reliability of the method in this paper are effectively verified by the test, which provides a reliable and efficient method for the design of modeling elements of Luoshan shadow puppet creative goods. © 2023 IEEE.

A star-simple drawing of a graph is a drawing in which adjacent edges do not cross. In contrast, there is no restriction on the number of crossings between two independent edges. We forbid empty lenses, i.e., every lens is required to enclose a vertex, and show that with this restriction 3 · (n − 4)! is an upper bound on the number of crossings between two edges of a star-simple drawing of Kn. It follows that n! bounds the total number of crossings in the drawing. This is the first finite upper bound on the number of crossings in star-simple drawings of the complete graph Kn with no empty lens. For a lower bound we construct a star-simple drawing of Kn with no empty lens in which a pair of edges contributes 5n/2−2 crossings. © 2022, Brown University. All rights reserved.

Personalized learning plays a critical role in enhancing educational outcomes by customizing experiences to meet individual learners' unique needs, preferences, and abilities. Although Large Language Models (LLMs) offer promising opportunities for personalization through natural language interactions, they face challenges related to maintaining long-term context and ensuring traceability of a learner's evolving knowledge. This paper introduces a composite AI framework that merges an LLM-powered conversational agent with Knowledge Graphs (KGs) structured according to Knowledge Space Theory (KST), enhanced by advanced retrieval tools and a robust long-term memory mechanism. This system autonomously orchestrates meaningful, context-aware dialogues while utilizing function calling to access various tools, effectively bridging the gap between dynamic interactions and structured knowledge representation. Our empirical evaluations indicate that the proposed system excels in maintaining coherent dialogues, accurately tracking learner progress, and providing reliable, personalized educational support. By addressing the limitations of standalone LLMs and traditional adaptive learning systems, this integrated approach signifies a notable advancement in intelligent educational technology.

The physical properties of substrate cultures: A preliminary characterization

The aim of this work was to evaluate the physical properties of rice husk with a mixture of chitosan as a starting material for the synthesis of substrate cultures. The present experiment to evaluate the physical properties of growing substrate mixtures in the development of substrate cultures was the use of chitosan as a binder with the corresponding properties as rice husk/chitosan (50/50 vol%), rice husk/chitosan (40/60 vol%) and rice husk/chitosan (30/70 vol%). The measured properties of the substrate cultures included morphological, structural, density, and water absorption to verify their suitability for the substrate cultures. In addition, the results showed that the rice husks have an amorphous structure, while chitosan has a crystalline structure. Finally, the results also showed that those with a total binder content of chitosan of 70% by volume were obtained as good substrate mixture components. Therefore, it can be concluded that the incorporation of organic and inorganic materials improved the physical properties of the substrate cultures, so the treatment with rice husk blind as a binder chitosan can be a new substrate culture that can be replaced by other media. © 2022

This research explores a new finite element model for the free vibration analysis of bi-directional functionally graded (BDFG) beams. The model is based on an efficient higher-order shear deformation beam theory that incorporates a trigonometric warping function for both transverse shear deformation and stress to guarantee traction-free boundary conditions without the necessity of shear correction factors. The proposed two-node beam element has three degrees of freedom per node, and the inter-element continuity is retained using both C1 and C0 continuities for kinematics variables. In addition, the mechanical properties of the (BDFG) beam vary gradually and smoothly in both the in-plane and out-of-plane beam’s directions according to an exponential power-law distribution. The highly elevated performance of the developed model is shown by comparing it to conceptual frameworks and solution procedures. Detailed numerical investigations are also conducted to examine the impact of boundary conditions, the bi-directional gradient indices, and the slenderness ratio on the free vibration response of BDFG beams. The suggested finite element beam model is an excellent potential tool for the design and the mechanical behavior estimation of BDFG structures. © 2024 Techno-Press, Ltd.
