The article offers the attention of two type glass the structural, physical and optical properties of clear vision glass and Sun Guard HP Clima Guard Neutral 70 glass were studied. Transmission spectra of clear vision and Sun Guard HP Clima Guard Neutral 70 glasses were analyzed by UV-VIS-NIR spectrometer at room temperature. The transmittance of the clear vision glass is higher than Sun Guard HP Clima Guard Neutral 70 on the other hand the heat comes with the light. Reflectance spectra of the clear vision glass is also higher than that of Sun Guard HP Clima Guard Neutral 70 glass indicated that clear vision can reflect heat better than Sun Guard HP Clima Guard Neutral 70 glass

This paper delves into the application and capabilities of machine learning methodologies in forecasting poverty scenarios, underlining the importance of varied data sources, along with the interpretability and explainability of models to refine the precision and transparency of poverty prediction mechanisms. It primarily utilizes an iteration of the LightGBM algorithm to infer poverty stages premised on household variables. This investigation showcases the potential of machine learning methodologies in poverty estimation, elucidating the relevance of additional, diverse data resources, and the critical role of model interpretability in enhancing model accuracy and clarity. The LightGBM version employed in our study demonstrated high efficiency on the validation set, affirming its effectiveness in projecting poverty conditions based on household features. In analyzing SHAP values, we unearthed crucial insights into the contributing elements to poverty. These findings can aid in shaping policies aimed at poverty alleviation and elevating social welfare. Our work provides the basis for future research into poverty prediction and affirms the potential of machine learning methodologies in tackling intricate social challenges.

This study investigates cement-integrated bismuth phosphate glasses (BiP-cement) as sustainable radiation shielding materials against alpha and proton radiation. Glass composites were synthesized with the chemical formula (x) (cement)-20 (Na 2 O)-10 (Fe 2 O 3 )-20 (Bi 2 O 3 ) -(50-x) (P 2 O 5 ), with x varying from 0 to 15 wt. %. Characterization was conducted using X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, and Vickers microhardness tests. Gamma irradiation (100–200 kGy) and SRIM simulations were employed to assess structural stability and shielding performance. Results demonstrate that increasing cement content enhances cross-linking density, reducing proton and alpha projected ranges (PPR: 15.8 → 15 μm; APR: 3.63 → 3.43 μm) and achieving 15–20% lower shielding thickness compared to lead-concrete systems. SRIM simulations confirmed superior mass stopping power for the X15 composite (proton mass stopping power, PMSP: 0.88 MeV·cm 2 /g; alpha mass stopping power, AMSP: 6.12 MeV·cm 2 /g), outperforming conventional concretes like baryte (1.02 MeV·cm 2 /g) and lead-concrete (0.92 MeV·cm 2 /g) at 1 MeV energy. Structural analysis confirmed the retention of amorphous integrity post-irradiation, with FTIR indicating phosphate network stabilization via Si–O–P. Ultraviolet-visible spectra revealed defect recombination at lower doses (<100 kGy) but absorption-dominated behavior at higher doses (>200 kGy) in high-cement samples. Microhardness increased by 21% (X0 → X15), correlating with the reinforcement from cement-derived SiO 2 and Fe 2 O 3 . This work establishes BiP-cement glasses as scalable, eco-friendly alternatives for nuclear safety, medical radiation protection, and aerospace shielding, balancing waste valorization with lightweight, high-performance shielding demands.

The exponential growth of digital information, particularly user-generated content on social media and blogging platforms, has underscored the importance of sentiment analysis (SA). Arabic language sentiment analysis (ASA) involves identifying the orientation of ideas, feelings, emotions, and attitudes within Arabic text to determine whether they convey a positive, negative, or neutral sentiment. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the past decade, focusing on the utilization of SA in the Arabic language. It examines various applications, methodologies, and challenges associated with ASA, highlighting gaps and limitations in existing approaches, lexicons, and annotated datasets. The primary objective of this review is to assist researchers in identifying these gaps and limitations while offering accessible annotated datasets, preprocessing techniques, and procedures. We defined specific criteria for selecting research publications from the last 10 years, including 150 papers in our review process, while excluding earlier publications. The review utilized multiple databases, including Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of science. The inherent complexity of the Arabic language, due to its unique traits and diverse dialects, presents significant challenges in ASA. Moreover, the lack of annotated datasets, lexicon resources, and programming tools further complicates sentiment analysis in Arabic. The morphological variations within Arabic make it linguistically challenging. To address these issues, it is crucial to develop additional resources and construct new Arabic sentiment lexicons that account for the various dialects within Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). Our findings reveal that there is no standard public lexicon that adequately enhances the calculation of ASA across different domains, such as e-commerce, politics, public health, and marketing. © 2024

Second-order nonlinear Hall effect in Weyl semimetals

We investigate the second-order nonlinear Hall effect of Weyl semimetals using a quantum theory, paying attention to the interband process and quantum interference effect. The Drude-type nonlinear Hall conductivity due to the intraband process is found for each Weyl node in the low-frequency regime (the photon energy of the incident field is much smaller than the chemical potential). While in the high-frequency regime with the interband process dominated, the nonlinear photoconductivity shows a two-photon resonant peak or double peaks due to inversion symmetry breaking. The peak splitting is determined by the chemical potential and tilt of the Weyl node. There is a nonmonotonic dependence of the nonlinear Hall current on the tilt of the Weyl node, and an optimal tilt for the maximum Hall current has been found. Moreover, with the help of quantum interference, the nonlinear Hall response can be effectively modulated by tuning the amplitude, phase, and polarization of the incident fields. In particular, in the presence of driving fields with frequencies ω0 and 3ω0, the interplay between the optical processes of second-harmonic generation and different frequency generation leads to the chirality-selective generation of nonlinear Hall current under suitable conditions.

Reinforcement learning demonstrated immense success in modelling complex physics-driven systems, providing end-to-end trainable solutions by interacting with a simulated or real environment, maximizing a scalar reward signal. In this work, we propose, building upon previous work, a multi-agent reinforcement learning approach with assignment constraints for reconstructing particle tracks in pixelated particle detectors. Our approach optimizes collaboratively a parametrized policy, functioning as a heuristic to a multidimensional assignment problem, by jointly minimizing the total amount of particle scattering over the reconstructed tracks in a readout frame. To satisfy constraints, guaranteeing a unique assignment of particle hits, we propose a safety layer solving a linear assignment problem for every joint action. Further, to enforce cost margins, increasing the distance of the local policies predictions to the decision boundaries of the optimizer mappings, we recommend the use of an additional component in the blackbox gradient estimation, forcing the policy to solutions with lower total assignment costs. We empirically show on simulated data, generated for a particle detector developed for proton imaging, the effectiveness of our approach, compared to multiple single- and multi-agent baselines. We further demonstrate the effectiveness of constraints with cost margins for both optimization and generalization, introduced by wider regions with high reconstruction performance as well as reduced predictive instabilities. Our results form the basis for further developments in RL-based tracking, offering both enhanced performance with constrained policies and greater flexibility in optimizing tracking algorithms through the option for individual and team rewards. In this note we consider the cohomological analogue of V n-continuum and prove that any strongly locally homogeneous generalized continuum X with cohomological dimension dimG X = n is a generalized V n-space with respect to the cohomological dimension dimG. In particular, every strongly locally homogeneous continuum of covering dimension n is a V n-continuum in the sense of Alexandroff. This provides a partial answer to a question raised in [12]. An analog of the Mazurkiewicz theorem that no subset of covering dimension ≤ n − 2 cuts any region of the Euclidean n-space is also obtained for strongly locally homogeneous generalized continua X of cohomological dimension dimG X = n. © 2023, CC BY.

This study investigates the impact of gold nanoparticle dispersion on the structural, thermal, and radiation shielding properties of bismuth borate glasses, aiming to develop materials suitable for nuclear and radiological protection applications. Glasses with compositions of 20Bi2O3–80B2O3 were prepared using the conventional melt-quenching technique, incorporating varying concentrations (0 to 1.59 × 10−7 mol%) of as-prepared gold nanoparticles. Characterization techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), confirmed the amorphous nature of all samples, while high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) identified well-dispersed gold nanoparticles within the borate matrix. In samples with lower gold concentrations, the nanoparticles exhibited an average size of 3.24 nm, significantly smaller than their original 40 nm size of precursor nanoparticles, suggesting fragmentation and reclustering during processing. Whereas, at higher doping levels, nanoparticle size grows to 68.32 nm, indicating concentration-dependent clustering. The decrease in density values from 4.516 g/cm3 to 4.465 g/cm3 revealed the participation of gold nanoparticles in structural modifications. Differential thermal analysis (DTA) demonstrated an increase in thermal stability, with the stability factor (ΔT) rising from 136 °C to 152 °C as gold concentration increased from 0 to 1.59 × 10−7 mol%. UV–Vis–NIR spectroscopy showed enhanced optical absorbance with gold doping, while Tauc plot analysis revealed a decrease in optical band gap from 3.04 eV (undoped) to 2.56 eV (highest doping), attributed to increased structural disorder. Radiation shielding effectiveness was assessed through Phy-X/PSD software, evaluating Linear Attenuation Coefficient (LAC), Mass Attenuation Coefficient (MAC), Half-Value Layer (HVL), Tenth-Value Layer (TVL), and Mean Free Path (MFP) over photon energies ranging from 0.015 to 15 MeV. We describe the economic behavior of the household. On the one hand, the household acts as a consumer that seeks to maximize the discounted consumptions in the imperfect lending and saving market. On the other hand, the household acts a worker in the labor market that receives salary and wants to enlarge its competencies to receive higher wages. In this work we present the model of the worker behavior that spends its salary on consumptions and on the investments in human capital. The investments in human capital helps to obtain new skills and increase the qualifications of the employee. This provides an opportunity to receive higher wages. The problem is formalized as an optimal control problem on the infinite time horizon. We introduce its solution in the form of the Pontryagin maximum principle, find the transversality conditions of the conjugate variables, and introduce the identification approach to reproduce the behavior of employees in different social layers based on the Russian Federation Household Budget Survey. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Despite tax being a fundamental method to redistribute wealth and achieve a sustainable economic and social system, tax agencies and institutions in most countries are struggling with low tax collections. This issue is often attributed to the level of compliance among taxpayers. To gain more insight into this problem, a study was conducted to examine how socio-economic determinants such as probability of detection, tax complexity, tax penalty, tax sanctions, tax ethics, tax justice, government spending, and tax services quality impact VAT compliance decisions. The study drew a random sample of 770 retail industry participants from Jordan, an Arabic country, for a self-administered survey. Smart-PLS structural equation modeling was used to analyze and estimate the compliance model. The results indicated that all proposed direct relationships were supported, and the interactions between tax knowledge and the socio-economic determinants on VAT compliance were found to be significant. The findings of this research can be useful for policymakers and institutions responsible for taxpayers' communities to understand the role of tax knowledge in VAT compliance in the retail industry. The study emphasizes the significance of instilling tax knowledge, social and moral values among VAT payers, establishing an equitable system, and launching awareness programs in Jordanian society. Additionally, it contributes to existing literature by confirming a practical compliance model rooted in the socio-economic theory of regulatory compliance. This model incorporates the moderating effect of tax knowledge within socio-economic aspects of VAT compliance. By understanding the importance of tax knowledge, policymakers and institutions can develop effective strategies to boost VAT funds and improve compliance in the retail industry. This can ultimately lead to increased government revenues without placing an undue economic burden on lower-income taxpayers. © 2023 The Authors
