Wheat is the most important cereal crop,and its low production incurs import pressure on the *** fulfills a significant portion of the daily energy requirements of the human *** wheat disease is one of the major factors that result in low production and negatively affects the national ***,timely detection of wheat diseases is necessary for improving *** CNN-based architectures showed tremendous achievement in the image-based classification and prediction of crop ***,these models are computationally expensive and need a large amount of training *** this research,a light weighted modified CNN architecture is proposed that uses eight layers particularly,three convolutional layers,three SoftMax layers,and two flattened layers,to detect wheat diseases *** high-resolution images were collected from the fields in Azad Kashmir(Pakistan)and manually annotated by three human *** convolutional layers use 16,32,and 64 *** filter uses a 3×3 kernel *** strides for all convolutional layers are set to *** this research,three different variants of datasets are *** variants S1-70%:15%:15%,S2-75%:15%:10%,and S3-80%:10%:10%(train:validation:test)are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed *** extensive experiments revealed that the S3 performed better than S1 and S2 datasets with 93%*** experiment also concludes that a more extensive training set with high-resolution images can detect wheat diseases more accurately.

technology is changing how students learn in the 21st century significantly. Integrating mobile devices in teaching, learning, and assessment processes has emerged as an important strategy for improving teaching methodologies and students' learning. However, adopting mobile devices presents several challenges, including understanding the students' performance, impact on time, and efficiency in the assessment process. This study explores this area with an empirical study of using mobile devices and compares the results to those using traditional desktop computers. In the educational environment, we investigated students' effective use while interacting with mobile and desktop versions of the Second Introductory programming summative assessment. Multinational/multi-institutional research involved a comparative analysis between two student groups undertaking identical tasks on mobile phones and desktop computers. Our results suggest that the students' results are not affected significantly by using the mobile version of the assessment application. These results highlight the usability of mobile devices as a flexible and effective tool for various educational applications, strengthening their role in the modern learning environment. © 2024 IEEE.

This article presents a new approach to detecting anomalies in data obtained from unmanned aerial vehicles using spline models. The relevance of the study is driven by the need for fast and accurate identification of anomalies in real time, which is critical for military intelligence and civilian monitoring. The proposed model is based on the use of momentary characteristics, such as average illumination intensity and standard deviation, which allows for effective data parameterization and detection of anomalous observations. The advantage of the spline model is its ability to adapt to complex and heterogeneous image textures, which significantly reduces the risk of missing critical anomalies. The model also demonstrates high robustness to variations in the data, making it a reliable tool for analyzing images in different lighting and landscape conditions. Experiments using forest, road, and car textures have shown that the spline model is able to accurately identify anomalies, which increases the efficiency of analysis and allows for a quick response to detected changes. © 2024 IEEE.

Rarity meters are incorporated by industry and discursive by academia. Rarity, as an intuitive term, attracted numerous researchers to present their own view of it. While there is existing literature on comparing rarity meters, it requires access to NFT collection data, which can be challenging for researchers without a background in blockchain technology. This has created a demand for an easily accessible rarity meter benchmark. In this paper, we introduce the Rating over all Rarities (ROAR) benchmark, which includes data from one hundred popular NFT collections from the Ethereum blockchain, implemented a weighted correlation-based performance measurement function, as well as four state-of-the-art rarity meters (***, Kramer, OpenRarity, and NFTGo), along with a new rarity meter called ROAR. Our experiments show that the ROAR rarity meter, an ensemble of the other four meters, outperforms its competitors, with *** and Kramer as runner-ups. The ROAR benchmark is a tool for examination and testing of rarity meter ideas, and we challenge readers to develop models that can outperform the ROAR rarity meter. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper investigates the tracking technology of moving objects from a UAV camera (or streaming video) for systems with limited computational resources, such as modern SBCs. A detector-tracker architecture is proposed, combining the advantages of object detection methods and tracking algorithms. A comparative analysis of the performance and accuracy of various detector and tracker combinations on modern SBCs is conducted. The results demonstrate the high efficiency of the proposed approach for object-tracking tasks under limited computational resources, which has practical significance for UAV-based systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Phototherapy has become a hopeful procedure for the treatment of cancer. Nevertheless, the straightforward creation of a theranostic system that can achieve both tumor localization and production of oxygen species is greatly desired yet remains a challenging endeavor. In this study, we synthesized spherical nanostructures by decorating zinc oxide (ZnO) with peanut shell-based carbon (PNS-C) in an aqueous solution. The PNS-C-decorated ZnO (ZnO/PNS-C)-embedded supramolecular system exhibited spontaneous self-assembly. The nanogels that are produced have several desirable characteristics, including exceptional resistance to degradation by light, highly stable nanostructures that form spontaneously in biological environments, outstanding ability to prevent the destruction of red blood cells, and a high level of sensitivity to changes in pH and light. Under light irradiation, the addition of ZnO/PNS-C-incorporated supramolecular provided high reactive oxygen species production. Moreover, in vitro cellular assays demonstrated ZnO/PNS-C-incorporated supramolecular exhibited highly selective and induced phototoxicity into cancer cells and no effect on the viability of normal cells both before and after irradiation. Overall, the ZnO/PNS-C-incorporated supramolecular system has the potential to stimulate advancements in phototherapy by utilizing highly tumor-selective therapeutic molecules. This can lead to a more effective targeted therapy for cancers. © 2024 American Chemical Society.

Mental diseases, mental disorders, or psychological disorders is a large group of symptoms which causes changes to the state of mood and reflect this on the behavior of the person with the mental disorder. It affects the patient's way of thinking, which limits his ability to perform his simple daily needs, and thus, becomes a burden on the individual, and on the surrounding society as well. There are common types of mental disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. In this research, two main objectives are considered. The first objective is determining which is the best classifier for predicting a person's mental disorder among six well-known classifiers. The second objective is determining what is the best feature selection technique to use with mental disorders datasets considering six popular techniques, and with respect to several evaluation metrics. The results revealed that Logistic Regression and Naïve Bayes are the two best classification models, while Info Gain Ratio is the best feature selection method. © 2024 IEEE.

Using the electrostatic analogy, we derive an exact formula for the limiting Yang-Lee zero distribution in the random allocation model of general weights. This exhibits a real-space condensation phase transition, which is induced by a pressure change. The exact solution allows one to read off the scaling of the density of zeros at the critical point and the angle at which the locus of zeros hits the critical point. Since the order of the phase transition and critical exponents can be tuned with a single parameter for several families of weights, the model provides a useful testing ground for verifying various relations between the distribution of zeros and the critical behavior, as well as for exploring the behavior of physical quantities in the mesoscopic regime, i.e., systems of large but finite size. The main result is that asymptotically the Yang-Lee zeros are images of a conformal mapping, given by the generating function for the weights, of uniformly distributed complex phases.

Current review papers in the area of Affective Computing and Affective Gaming point to a number of issues with using their methods in out-of-the-lab scenarios, making them virtually impossible to be deployed. On the contrary, we present a game that serves as a proof-of-concept designed to demonstrate that - being aware of all the limitations and addressing them accordingly - it is possible to create a product that works in-the-wild. A key contribution is the development of a dynamic game adaptation algorithm based on the real-time analysis of emotions from facial expressions. The obtained results are promising, indicating the success in delivering a good game experience. © 2023 IEEE.
