With an unconventional approach, we regard the problem of building a precise adaptive model of oil price dynamics in the context of investment projects. I. Newton formulated the principle of analysis. We list the Principles of applying the stochastic theory of asset management to building the optimal investment projects in oil and gas field development. We also analyze all the data of daily oil exchange from 1988 to 2019 (spot prices, Platts (Platt's) McGraw Hill Financial). We use methods and quantitative evaluations of adaptive BMS models with stochastic switches. We outline precise (normalized quadratic deviation within 9%) adaptive BMS models, plot extrapolation (quasi-forecast) on a stability period;make a stability period quasi-forecast and list essential quantitative evaluations and graphs. We discuss the possibility of quick profiting using BMS models. We also discuss the approaches to solving the problem of building optimal midterm oil and gas field development projects and operations, as well as the results we acquire. Analysis of incomes and expenses of an optimal investment project would allow for a substantiated decision on whether the development should be started or forgone. © 2023 IEEE.

Although significant progress has been made in microwave imaging, real-time imaging, especially for objects behind walls or closed obstacles, remains a technical challenge. In this work, highly efficient imaging for complex-structured objects surrounded by a closed obstacle was experimentally demonstrated. The imaging equations are derived based on a combination of the inverse-scattering problem and the concept of compressed sensing. Making use of the spatial sparsity of objects and obstacles, the compressed imaging can be implemented using a time-division multi-antenna setup with reduced transmitting antennas. Owing to the spatial compressed sensing applied to the sparse imaging region and objects, the imaging time can be reduced by two orders of magnitude compared with the conventional twofold subspace-based optimisation method with a comparable imaging quality. Taking advantage of the sparsity of the entire imaging area, objects with larger relative permittivity can also be reconstructed. The proposed method can be potentially used in applications such as security examination through boxes. It also provides a new clue for solving the practicability difficulty faced by existing microwave imaging systems. © 2019 The Institution of Engineering and technology.

Fifth Generation(5G)systems aim to improve flexibility,coexistence and diverse service in several aspects to achieve the emerging applications *** and filtering of the traditional multicarrier waveforms are now considered common sense when designing more flexible *** paper proposed a Universal Windowing Multi-Carrier(UWMC)waveform design platform that is flexible,providing more easily coexists with different pulse shapes,and reduces the Out of Band Emissions(OOBE),which is generated by the traditional multicarrier methods that used in the previous generations of the mobile *** novel proposed approach is different from other approaches that have been proposed,and it is based on applying a novel modulation approach for the Quadrature-Amplitude Modulation(64-QAM)which is considered very popular in mobile *** new approach is done by employing flexible pulse shaping windowing,by assigning windows to various *** leads to decreased side-lobes,which are going to reduce OOBE and boost the spectral efficiency by assigning them to edge subscribers *** new subband windowing(UWMC)will also maintain comprehensively the non-orthogonality by a variety of windowing and make sure to keep window time the same for all *** addition,this paper shows that the new approach made the Bit Error Rate(BER)equal to the conventional Windowed-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(W-OFDM).This platform achieved great improvement for some other Key Performance Indicators(KPI),such as the Peak to Average Power Ratio(PAPR)compared with the conventional(W-OFDM)and the conventional Universal Filtered Multicarrier(UFMC)*** particular,the proposed windowing scheme outperforms previous designs in terms of the Power Spectral Density(PSD)by 58%and the(BER)by 1.5 dB and reduces the Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function Cubic Metric(CCDF-CM)by 24%.

New method for equalization and symbol detection for 8-PSK EDGE system is investigated in this study. The exact solution to this problem, Maximum Likelihood Sequence Estimation (MLSE) turns out to be too complex for practical purposes, but this method introduce a new version of Delayed Decision Feedback Sequence Estimation (DDFSE) equalizer that has less complexity and totally comparable performance with complete DDFSE. Simulation results compare our method with DDFSE and lower complexity methods over Rayleigh multipath fading channel. For final step we show the efficiency of our method based on received packet in receiver hardware in trade off between time that each algorithm needs for process a received frame and BER. © 2011 IEEE.

This paper presents an approach to synthesis of stylistically and syntactically controlled generator of the microprocessor test programs. The dependence of test length of the confidence level and the probabilities repartition of coverage metric is stated. The procedure of synthesis of a test program generator is developed, represented by a stochastic grammar for a known microprocessor. The performed test experiments clearly demonstrate the advantages of the proposed syntactic approach in comparison with other competitive methods of generation stimuli for verification of microprocessors.

The research presents a comparative analysis of the selection of objects of interest in color medical cytology images. For these purposes, the individual edge detection operators studied are Canny, Roberts, and LoG. The comparison contrasts the standard method of assessing color photographs with a technique that incorporates supplementary information. Data from individual color channels, derived from the breakdown of a color image in RGB format, serve as supplementary information. The following individual cases for potential examination are emphasized: Image processing with a complete level of reuse of edge detection operators;with a partial level of reuse of edge detection operators. The results are displayed through an array of tables, graphs, and images. Metrics of visual perception of images are utilized for comparative analysis. Compared with traditional edge detection methods, the proposed approach yields better results, which can exceed the estimates of the classical approach by 20%. © 2024 IEEE.

The paper addresses several challenges associated with analyzing digital medical images, focusing on identifying and assessing fatty liver tissue levels. The methodology enhances the perception of transition zones delineating fatty lesions by employing a contrast technique on the input image. Classic histogram equalization is utilized for contrast, ensuring an even distribution of brightness levels. The evaluation of processed image quality relies on indicators such as entropy, NIQE, and BRISQUE. The paper explores diverse strategies for enhancing the original image based on individual or combined values of quality indicators, which effectively improves the identification of transition zones in fatty lesions. The findings are illustrated using real digital images of fatty liver lesions. © 2023 IEEE.

This article examines the development of a Digital Learning Ecosystem (DLE) for engineering education, supported by online learning, within the framework of Erasmus+ international educational projects. We hypothesize that a DLE can address the challenges posed by rapid technological changes associated with Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, thus transforming engineering education to meet modern industry needs. Building on the earlier Erasmus+ CybPhys project, which established a Sharing Modelling and Simulation Environment (SMSE) for digitalizing online technical courses, the DIGITRANS project aims to enhance this architecture to include remote laboratories through the Sharing Remote Experiment Environment (SREE) platform. The project involves acquiring hardware and open-source software for SREE and establishing two physical remote laboratories. A study conducted in spring 2023, using the technology Acceptance Model framework, indicated positive student perceptions of SMSE, with students believing it would enhance learning outcomes and expressing intentions to use the platform frequently. The efficacy of the DLE in addressing technological advancement challenges will be further evaluated through post-ante assessments and feedback from prospective employers and stakeholders, focusing on the implementation of industry recommendations and the correlation between pre- and post-implementation survey responses from industry and academic experts. © 2024 IEEE.

The article addresses the challenges of analyzing data represented as time series, depicting the evolution of a specific process, phenomenon, or object over time. Special emphasis is placed on conducting a comparative analysis of the dynamics among different data sets;so, to achieve this, a method for estimating wavelet coherence is employed. The approach includes transforming the original data through a sliding sampling window using higher-order moments to capture the memory effect. This methodology enables the assessment of dynamics in extensive data sets, thereby enhancing the efficiency of processing and analysis. The article presents results based on real data, providing an additional evaluation of their mutual dynamics. The findings affirm the reliability and effectiveness of such an analysis. © 2023 IEEE.
