Medicine is one of the products that must be delivered to the patient safely, undamaged, and during its validity period. However, the risks of the drug supply chain have become increasingly apparent. To address these risks and due to the rapid advances in the technology field, various digital transformation trials around the globe start to be considered in order to replace the traditional drug supply chain until its delivery to the patient. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to contribute in the digital transformation goal of the drug supply chain in Egypt. Thus, this paper proposes a trusted automatic system, based on the blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to enhance the performance of the drug supply chain and accordingly make the drug manufacturing and distribution system in Egypt more efficient and reliable. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2023.

Health care visualization through Internet of Things(IoT)over wireless sensor network(WSN)becomes a current research attention due to medical sensor evolution of *** digital technology-based communication system is widely used in all *** of medical thing(IoMT)assisted health-care application ensures the continuous health monitoring of a patient and provides the early awareness of the one who is suffered without human *** smart medical devices may consume with limited resources and also the data generated by these devices are large in *** IoMT based applications suffer from the issues such as security,anonymity,privacy,and *** overcome these issues,data aggregation methods are the solution that can concatenate the data generated by the sensors and forward it into the base station through fog node with efficient encryption and *** article proposed a well-organized data aggregation and secured transmission *** data generated by the sensor are collected and *** nodes(AN)received the compressed data and concatenate *** concatenated and encrypted data is forward to fog node using the enhanced Paillier cryptogra-phy-based encryption with Message Authentication code(MAC).Fog node extracts the forwarded data from AN using Fog message extractor method(FME)with *** proposed system ensures data integrity,security and also protects from security *** proposed model is simulated in Net-work Simulator 2.35 and the evaluated simulation results proves that the aggregation with MAC code will ensures the security,privacy and also reduces the communication *** node usages in between Aggregator and base station,will reduce the cloud server/base station computational overhead and storage *** proposed ideology is compared with existing data aggregation schemes in terms of computational cost,storage cost,communication cost and energy *** of communica

Sentiment analysis or opinion mining(OM)concepts become familiar due to advances in networking technologies and social ***,massive amount of text has been generated over Internet daily which makes the pattern recognition and decision making process *** OM find useful in business sectors to improve the quality of the product as well as services,machine learning(ML)and deep learning(DL)models can be considered into ***,the hyperparameters involved in the DL models necessitate proper adjustment process to boost the classification ***,in this paper,a new Artificial Fish Swarm Optimization with Bidirectional Long Short Term Memory(AFSO-BLSTM)model has been developed for OM *** major intention of the AFSO-BLSTM model is to effectively mine the opinions present in the textual *** addition,the AFSO-BLSTM model undergoes pre-processing and TF-IFD based feature extraction ***,BLSTM model is employed for the effectual detection and classification of ***,the AFSO algorithm is utilized for effective hyperparameter adjustment process of the BLSTM model,shows the novelty of the work.A complete simulation study of the AFSO-BLSTM model is validated using benchmark dataset and the obtained experimental values revealed the high potential of the AFSO-BLSTM model on mining opinions.

This work studies the effects of thermal stress on Dynamic Random-Access Memory (DRAM) retention-based Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) based on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Single-Board computer (SBC) modules. Our results show that prolonged thermal stress, in general, leads to a decrease in the entropy of the responses of this PUF (as the number of bit flips is reduced) and a loss of its reliability (as responses taken before and after the stress has been applied to this PUF do not adequately match each other). Nevertheless, we note that as time passes after we stop applying thermal stress to the relevant PUF devices, their responses start to resemble more and more those that they produced before thermal stress was applied to them. As prolonged thermal stress has been utilised in order to induce artificial aging on electronics, our work not only studies the potential effects of aging on such electronics as DRAMs in general and DRAM PUFs in particular, but also sheds some doubt on the ability of this method to induce permanent effects that would truly resemble the effects of aging. © 2024 IEEE.

The issue of illegal fishing is a global concern that requires attention. This paper focuses on marine biodiversity and sustainable development and proposes a deep learning-based computer vision technology for monitoring illegal fishing using ROV surveillance systems. By combining deep learning-based technology with a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV), supervisors can remotely control the underwater robot to take images and send them to the AI server through a 4G/5G mobile network. The AI server quickly identifies any instances of illegal fishing by divers in underwater images. Additionally, supervisors can use the illegal fishing monitoring platform to monitor for any illicit activity fishing underwater. © 2023 IEEE.

Knee joint rehabilitation exercise refers to a therapeutic procedure of a patient having dysfunctions in certain abilities to move knee joint due to some medical conditions like trauma or paralysis. The exercise is basically a series of repeated assistive physical movements within the range of motion (RoM) of the joint. Reflex action of limbs during RoM exercise causes inappropriate balance of load which may cause secondary injuries, such as damages of muscle or tendon tissues. Establishing correlation between impedance data and limb motions is important to solve this problem. This paper aims to design and modeling of a robotic arm with an original approach in control strategy which is developed based on the correlation in between the joint-impedances and joint-motion characteristics during exercise. The knee joint impedances are estimated based on the internal feedback of the system dynamics, that lead to design the torque compensator to improve the overall control signals in real time. This paper also demonstrates the characteristics of various responses of the system during exercise with human subject. Results have reflected good performances with low position and velocity tracking errors, ±0.02∘ and ***−1 during hold phase;and ±0.14∘ and ***−1 during motion phse. Though, the limitation of the prototype is its current RoM (limited to 0∘–25∘), the system has potential in the application of RoM exercise for paraplegic or monoplegic patients. © 2023

The present healthcare sector is experiencing a fundamental upheaval with the emergence of the Healthcare Internet of Things (HIoT). This article delves into the transformational potential of HIoT by examining its use in bettering patient care and monitoring. The paper dives into the introduction of HIoT, the methodologies adopted for research and development, the compelling findings gained, and the farreaching consequences in conclusion The opening part sets the scene by describing the fundamental transformation in healthcare facilitated by HIoT. It emphasizes the catalyst for rethinking patient care and monitoring as the combination of internet-connected devices, smart sensors, and data analytics. HIoT equips doctors with up-to-the-minute information, allowing for more precise diagnoses and more individualized plans of care. Furthermore, deep learning and artificial intelligence were incorporated to exploit the richness of HIoTgenerated data, allowing sophisticated analytics and informed decision-making. The compelling findings of this study are clear, with the suggested technique regularly beating existing methods across numerous criteria. A remarkable accuracy score of 0.94 was reached, demonstrating the reliability of the suggested strategy in supporting informed healthcare decisions. Furthermore, in terms of cost efficiency, the suggested approach scored 0.95, suggesting its costeffectiveness and potential for economic viability. The development of HIoT promises a healthcare system that is more patient-centered, data-driven, and efficient in the future. To ensure healthcare continues to grow into an age of unmatched patient care and monitoring, researchers, healthcare providers, and governments must work together to harness this transformational potential while tackling the issues that come with it. © 2024 IEEE.

Currently, all vehicles are key operated. Our intention is therefore to develop an intelligent unlocking system based on facial recognition technology. In Today's era of automation and smart devices, privacy and security are important issues in information technology so to information system, so it is urgent to change system security measures. In previous systems, many vehicle doors had mechanical locks with a limited number of keys. To enhance security, we propose an intelligent vehicle door unlocking system based on facial recognition the system uses camera sensor to recognize faces and image matching algorithms to recognize authenticated faces. Only people with matching faces can open the door this system not only provides additional security but also useful for systems without physical keys. © 2024 IEEE.

Despite the rapid expansion of the ICT sector, there's a disconnect with STEM subjects, leading to high dropout rates in computer science and engineering programs. This contributes to many unfilled positions in the ICT job market. One key issue is that traditional teaching methods struggle to engage students in challenging and abstract STEM subjects like programming. To address this, innovative technology-enhanced learning solutions are needed to be developed. In the past, we have developed a Programming Learning Assistant system (PLAS) to support programming learning for novice students. PLAS offers several types of exercise problems to foster code reading and writing skills at different levels. In this paper, we propose the initial prototype of the gamification of PLAS to enhance students' comprehension of programming concepts, improve their confidence, cultivate their interest in STEM fields, and increase course engagement through dynamic and engaing scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.

Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and deep learning have been instrumental in the advancement of technology around the world for about 50 years, but because of the high costs associated with developing an optimal training and testing dataset, researchers have had to deal with several issues such as segmentation of images with low spatial resolution, object recognition, classification, and their use in the processing of satellite images has yet to reach its full potential. This work includes a thorough assessment of a significant body of research literature as well as the most important publications released in the last decade. The IEEE digital library, science Direct, and SCOPUS system database indexing repository were the key sources for the review after applying various criteria, 386 publications pertaining to the case study were discovered. With 30 of them, grounds for exclusion and inclusion are discussed in further detail. Finding an upward trend in the level of research done in recent years indicates that this artificial neural network technology is getting more and more popular and curious. © 2023 IEEE.
