Entity Alignment is the task of seeking entities with the same semantics from distinct knowledge graphs (KGs). Researchers have recently proposed Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) based approaches to achieve this task. Most existing GCN-based methods embed all the relations into an identical value, making the underlying loss on the diversity of the relationship. Relation semantics of entities and relation structure have benefitted the entity alignment task in the monolingual scenarios. This paper proposes a Relation-Aware Graph Convolutional Network with a Differential Adjacency Matrix (A-REA), which exploits the relation-specific semantics and structural information of entities in the KGs to promote the entity representations. The experiments on DBP-15K and DWY-100K datasets, including three cross-lingual subsets and two cross-knowledge graph sub-datasets, reveal that our approach leads to advance in entity alignment task in both the cross-lingual and cross-knowledge KGs. Discriminating the relation shows the effective signal for entity alignment, especially for the schema heterogeneity of different KGs. © 2023 IEEE.

Ohrid trout(Salamo letnica)is an endemic species of fish found in Lake Ohrid in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia(FYROM).The growth of Ohrid trout was examined in a controlled environment for a certain period,thereafter released into the lake to grow their natural *** external features of the fish were measured regularly during the cultivation period in the laboratory to monitor their *** data mining methods-based computational model can be used for fast,accurate,reliable,automatic,and improved growth monitoring procedures and classification of Ohrid *** this motivation,a combined approach of principal component analysis(PCA)and support vectormachine(SVM)has been implemented for the visual discrimination and quantitative classification of Ohrid trout of the experimental and natural breeding and their growth *** PCA results in better discrimination of breeding categories of Ohrid trout at different development phases while the maximum classification accuracy of 98.33% was achieved using the combination of PCA and *** classification performance of the combination of PCA and SVM has been compared to combinations of PCA and other classification methods(multilayer perceptron,naive Bayes,randomcommittee,decision stump,random forest,and random tree).Besides,the classification accuracy of multilayer perceptron using the original features has been studied.

Facial emotion detection holds significant relevance across various domains, from psychology and marketing to education and security. Despite its importance, prevalent techniques often grapple with issues like low precision, susceptibility to lighting changes, obstructions, and distinct facial characteristics. Addressing these challenges, our research embarked on devising a robust and precise facial emotion detector harnessing the potential of machine learning, focusing on convolutional neural networks (CNN). Comprehensive testing revealed that our model surpasses existing state-of-the-art techniques, showcasing superior performance on benchmark datasets. The salience of our research is underscored by its profound implications for myriad real-world applications hinging on accurate facial emotion recognition. We present an enhanced model, distinguished not just by its accuracy but also its robustness, making it apt for diverse scenarios from insightful marketing initiatives and nuanced medical diagnoses to enriched educational experiences. Through this endeavor, we have accentuated the transformative capacity of machine learning in refining and redefining facial emotion detection methodologies. © 2023 IEEE.

A multitude of individuals across the globe grapple with motor disabilities. Neural prosthetics utilizing Brain-computer Interface (BCI) technology exhibit promise for improving motor rehabilitation outcomes. The intricate nature of EEG data poses a significant hurdle for current BCI systems. Recently, a qualitative repository of EEG signals tied to both upper and lower limb execution of motor and motor imagery tasks has been unveiled. Despite this, the productivity of the Machine Learning (ML) Models that were trained on this dataset was alarmingly deficient, and the evaluation framework seemed insufficient. To enhance outcomes, robust feature engineering (signal processing) methodologies are implemented. A collection of time domain, frequency domain, and wavelet-derived features was obtained from 16-channel EEG signals, and the Maximum Relevance Minimum Redundancy (MRMR) approach was employed to identify the four most significant features. For classification K Nearest Neighbors, Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, and Naive Bayes models were implemented with these selected features, evaluating their effectiveness through metrics such as testing accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 Score. By leveraging SVM with a Gaussian Kernel, a remarkable maximum testing accuracy of 92.50% for motor activities and 95.48% for imagery activities is achieved. These results are notably more dependable and gratifying compared to the previous study, where the peak accuracy was recorded at 74.36%. This research work provide an in-depth analysis of the MI Limb EEG dataset and it will help in designing and developing simple, cost-effective and reliable BCI systems for neuro-rehabilitation. © 2025, The Authors. As long as a computer system is connected to the Internet, it is susceptible to attack as a victim. In computer networks, it becomes important to manage the network based on parameters such as network size and network data. Firewalls are devices that help network administrators in this case to establish security in the network, and can be based on the rules that the firewall is based on. It is configured to control incoming and outgoing network traffic. Firewalls can be considered the most vital components of the network in establishing security. Firat University introduced a dataset containing firewall logs with multiple classes for firewall decisions. This study uses data mining techniques to improve the validation performance of classification using various machine learning algorithms like neural networks, deep learning, and kNN. The experimental results show more than 10% improvement according to precision and recall rates among various folding scenarios used in related works with minor improvement in accuracy, too. The decision tree algorithm is fast and explainable versus other algorithms.

This comprehensive review starts with diving into the progress and real-world applications of combining multi-omics data analysis with machine learning techniques in cancer research. Multi-omics involves examining various biological data types like genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics together to enhance our understanding of complex biological systems. By merging machine learning with multiomics data, we highlight the advantages for cancer studies, the deeper insights they yield and increased performance and results. Furthermore, we explore existing literature that showcases the integration of multi-omics and machine learning in cancer research. As part of our study, we conduct an experiment utilizing a multiomics dataset to predict the survival of breast cancer patients. We compare three distinct machine learning methods-ensemble, DeepProg, and DCAP-for survival prediction and conclude that despite the ensemble method that increased the prediction results of DeepProg over DCAP in multi-model setting, but the primitive capacity for DCAP is better in single model setting and achieves higher accuracy than DeepProg with noticeable margin 0.628 to 0.57 on C-Index metric, which strongly recommends using Denoising Autoencoder as the base for dimensionality reduction over the vanilla Autoencoder. Another empirical results conclude that using gaussian mixture model with diagonal covariance matrix for Clustering, which is used in DeepProg, might hinder the process for identifying reasonable clusters due to the assumption of no or zero correlation between different features which might not hold true in our problem.

Despite the significance of music genre classification in audio identification, it remains under-explored within AI research. This tool is crucial for personalized music recommendations and similar music detection. We have developed an efficient AI model that leverages Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), offering high-precision genre identification when integrated into a graphical user interface. The model effectively extracts audio features like Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCCs), zero-crossing rate, and tempo. Testing results reveal strong performance in genre prediction across diverse tracks, affirming the model's ability to discern unique characteristics of various music genres. This performance not only attests to the model's capability in discerning the unique characteristics inherent to different music genres but also suggests that it can effectively generalize to novel, unseen data. Our model lays the groundwork for future enhancements and demonstrates the potential of AI in transforming the music industry - from personalized music playlists to exploratory recommendation systems. The success of this model paves the way for more intricate applications of AI within music analysis. © 2023 IEEE.

YOLO has become a central real-time object detection system for robotics, driverless cars, and video monitoring applications. Developing a custom object detection solution that can detect specific objects in real-time video streams has the potential to revolutionize various fields and has been the subject of extensive research. Although there have been advances in object detection, there is still a gap in the research for real-time detection of custom objects with high accuracy and speed. This research addresses this gap by training a YOLOv8 detector on a custom dataset of objects and evaluating its performance on real-time video streams which is by far the latest model and thus is faster and more accurate. Our experimental results demonstrate that our custom-trained YOLOv8 detector achieves high accuracy and real-time performance on a custom dataset of objects. The detector achieved an overall mAP50 of 0.864 and a mAP50-95 of 0.758, with individual class results ranging from 0.47 to 0.995. These findings show that custom training data and YOLOv8 are effective in real-time object detection, which has practical applications in various fields. The significance of the results and our contribution lies in demonstrating the effectiveness of custom training data for improving object detection accuracy and speed using YOLO, which has implications for a wide range of real-world applications. © 2023 IEEE.

Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problems (CVRPs), a widely acknowledged NP-hard issue, pertains to the optimal routing of a limited-capacity vehicle fleet to fulfill customer demand, aiming for the least possible travel distance or cost. Despite the presence of numerous heuristic and exact approaches, the combinatorial characteristic of CVRP renders it challenging, especially for large-scale instances. This research provides an in-depth exploration of utilizing Genetic Algorithms (GAs) to address Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problems (CVRPs), a recognized and intricate optimization issue in the realm of logistics and supply chain management. Our paper concentrates on the innovative usage of GAs, a category of stochastic search methodologies inspired by natural selection and genetics, to grapple with CVRP. We put forth a fresh framework grounded in GA that infuses unique crossover and mutation operations tailor-made for CVRP. Our comprehensive computational trials on benchmark datasets suggest that our GA-centric method is proficient in deriving high-standard solutions within acceptable computational durations, surpassing multiple contemporary techniques concerning solution quality and resilience. Our results also underscore the scalability of our proposed approach, marking it as a viable choice for tackling extensive, real-world CVRPs. This paper enriches the current knowledge bank by demonstrating the prowess of GAs in deciphering complicated combinatorial optimization issues, thus offering a novel viewpoint for future advancements in crafting more robust and efficient CVRP resolutions. © 2023 IEEE.

The fashion industry, with its myriad choices, often overwhelms consumers. Addressing this, AdaptiveCloset introduces a groundbreaking approach to tailoring clothing suggestions by harnessing the power of reinforcement learning (RL). Unlike conventional AI methodologies in a fashion that merely suggests based on past preferences, our system dynamically ad-justs using realtime user feedback, ensuring that recommendations remain relevant and personalized. Historically, AI's fusion into the fashion realm has witnessed multiple methodologies but conspicuously lacked the RL perspective. Our research stands at this juncture, aiming to redefine online shopping experiences. Through AdaptiveCloset, we envisage a scenario where online shoppers not only receive personalized recommendations but also feel a sense of involvement, thanks to the system's feedback-oriented adaptability. This responsiveness not only augments user engagement but provides actionable intelligence for businesses, bridging the gap between consumer desires and market offerings. In this study, our focus was to ensure the robustness and adaptability of the RL environment, positioning it as a potent tool for enhancing e-commerce interactions, optimizing sales strategies, and fortifying customer loyalty. © 2023 IEEE.
