The concept of Digital Twin has been widely used by researchers to represent physical entities in computer-generated reality in the metaverse. In this research, a novel concept of 'Mobile Twin' is coined. Mobile Twin serves as a replica of a mobile device in the virtual environment enabling communication. The purpose of introducing Mobile Twin in the metaverse is to bring mobility and benefits similar to tangible mobile devices while eliminating the need for individual energy sources, storage limitations, resource usage, and efficiency. The true benefits of a mobile twin can be achieved with an architecture where computing nodes are decentralized, data processing is near the network's edge with faster response times and reduced latency. For this purpose, the mobile twin-based applications of metaverse are built over edge computing-based network architecture. This idea introduced the aspect of 'Revolutionary Ultra-low latency (RULL)' in the metaverse. © 2024 IEEE.

Image encryption is an essential field between computer vision and security which aims to protect the image before future attacks. Nowadays, it is threatened by quantum computers, which can break some classical cryptography. The encryption system has been upgraded from quantum key exchange protocol to post-quantum key-establishment mechanisms, but they are not explicitly designed for the image encryption task. In this paper, we propose a hybrid quantum-classical theoretical framework and its instance AKQ system which is more secure and suitable in the post-quantum era. © 2023 IEEE.

In-class teaching not only concentrates on lecture content delivery but also on maintaining strong mutuality between lecturer-students and student-student. Online lectures are gaining popularity due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the learning-teaching process has become ineffective because existing video conferencing solutions are not intended for academic purposes. This research was conducted to identify the pain points of online education and develop an enhanced software solution. A user survey confirmed that an isolated environment tends to diminish attentiveness during online lectures. Also, it is difficult for teachers to observe the attentiveness of all the students. As a solution, student attentiveness was measured using their facial expressions and collected data shown to lecturers through a virtual student behavioural environment. The physical separation causes students to feel isolated during lectures, which can negatively affect their academic development and social and psychological development. The developed application also provides a virtual group study environment as a feature. According to the results gathered in the user acceptance testing phase, it was found that the attention detection feature helps students keep their attention at a significant level. Further, 9 out of 10 teachers who participated in the testing acknowledged that the simulated student behavioural view could provide a more immersive experience. 71% of students preferred the new collaborative virtual environment, and students further elaborated that the virtual environment was more likely the physical group studies. 72% of students mentioned that the collaborative group study tool helped eliminate isolation during group studies. © 2022 IEEE.

The software development process is more flexible with the concept of containerization in the microservice platform. This research is on three key components to resolve problems faced by the developers and DevOps teams in the IT industry. First, the development phase expects a fully automated software release process from to the deployment phase and then optimize processes tailored to Docker, and Kubernetes, in microservice-based applications. Then streamline the process and leverage the container orchestration technologies to monitor the main aspect of the development lifecycle through the multi-cloud deployment on demand of the growth of day-today releases on multi-regions. A centralized monitoring platform is developed to monitor the deployed applications and that provides comprehensive visibility regarding performance and health of microservices. At the stage of scalarization in microservices, Vertical Pod Autoscaling (VPA) and Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA) are available approaches for resource allocation, and they require measuring the minimum and maximum resource limits. As a result, an intelligent resource allocation system is proposed using a combination of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) algorithms to cater to dynamic resource allocation, optimizing scalability, and improving cost-efficiency. This research aims to achieve practical insights into the IT industry's automated deployment, managing, scaling, and monitoring of microservice-based applications through the mentioned components. © 2023 IEEE.

Deep learning applications for medical image classification have shown remarkable promise, particularly incorporating attention-based neural networks. This is particularly relevant in medical imaging, where the integration of Artificial Intelligence assists with various imaging tasks, including classification, segmentation, and detection. Deep learning is revolutionizing medical research and playing a significant role in advancing personalized clinical treatment. However, the lack of interpretability in these models presents a significant obstacle to their adoption in clinical practice. Therefore, there is a growing need for a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence systems and their internal mechanisms, capabilities, and limitations, which is the focus of the field of explainable AI. This study proposes a novel attention-based explainable deep learning framework for medical image classification tasks, including Covid-19, breast cancer (BreakHis), lung cancer (LC2500), and Retinal optical coherence tomography (OCT). The proposed framework recorded overall accuracies of 98% (Covid-19 Radiography), 95% (BreakHis), 99.8% (LC2500), and 95%(OCT). For visual analysis of the outcomes, we employ and use the LIME, SHAP, and ELI-5 to analyze the achieved results. The study's primary goal is to bridge the gap between the high performance achieved by attention-based models and the necessity for transparency and interpretability in medical image diagnostics. © 2023 IEEE.

The Learning management system(LMS)is now being used for uploading educational content in both distance and blended *** platform has two types of users:the educators who upload the content,and the students who have to access the *** students,usually rely on text notes or books and video tutorials while their exams are conducted with formal *** assessments and examination criteria are ineffective with restricted learning space which makes the student tend only to read the educational contents and videos instead of interactive *** aim is to design an interactive LMS and examination video-based interface to cater the issues of educators and *** is designed according to Human-computer interaction(HCI)principles to make the interactive User interface(UI)through User experience(UX).The interactive lectures in the form of annotated videos increase user engagement and improve the self-study context of users involved in *** interface design defines how the design will interact with users and how the interface exchanges *** findings show that interactive videos for LMS allow the users to have a more personalized learning experience by engaging in the educational *** result shows a highly personalized learning experience due to the interactive video and quiz within the video.

This paper introduces a groundbreaking metaheuristic algorithm named Magnificent Frigatebird Optimization(MFO),inspired by the unique behaviors observed in magnificent frigatebirds in their natural *** foundation of MFO is based on the kleptoparasitic behavior of these birds,where they steal prey from other *** this process,a magnificent frigatebird targets a food-carrying seabird,aggressively pecking at it until the seabird drops its *** frigatebird then swiftly dives to capture the abandoned prey before it falls into the *** theoretical framework of MFO is thoroughly detailed and mathematically represented,mimicking the frigatebird’s kleptoparasitic behavior in two distinct phases:exploration and *** the exploration phase,the algorithm searches for new potential solutions across a broad area,akin to the frigatebird scouting for vulnerable *** the exploitation phase,the algorithm fine-tunes the solutions,similar to the frigatebird focusing on a single target to secure its *** evaluate MFO’s performance,the algorithm is tested on twenty-three standard benchmark functions,including unimodal,high-dimensional multimodal,and fixed-dimensional multimodal *** results from these evaluations highlight MFO’s proficiency in balancing exploration and exploitation throughout the optimization *** studies with twelve well-known metaheuristic algo-rithms demonstrate that MFO consistently achieves superior optimization results,outperforming its competitors across various *** addition,the implementation of MFO on four engineering design problems shows the effectiveness of the proposed approach in handling real-world applications,thereby validating its practical utility and robustness.

Non-invasive estimation of chlorophyll content in plants plays an important role in precision agriculture. This task may be tackled using hyperspectral imaging that acquires numerous narrow bands of the electromagnetic spectrum, which may reflect subtle features of the plant, and inherently offers spatial scalability. Such imagery is, however, high-dimensional, therefore it is challenging to transfer from the imaging device, store and investigate. We propose a machine learning pipeline for estimating chlorophyll content from hyperspectral data. It benefits from the Savitzky-Golay filtering to smooth the (potentially noisy) spectral curves, and from gradient-based features extracted from such a smoothed signal. The experiments revealed that our approach significantly outperforms the state of the art according to the widely-established estimation quality metrics obtained for four chlorophyll-related parameters. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

After adopting 5G technology, businesses and academia have started working on sixth-generation wireless networking (6G) technologies. Mobile communications options are expected to expand in areas where previous generations could not do so. 6G networks are anticipated to be constructed using various diverse technologies. These encompass diverse cutting-edge advancements, such as distributed ledger systems like blockchain, visible light communications (VLC), post-quantum cryptography, edge computing, molecular communication, THz, and other advances. These advances necessitate a reassessment of previous security strategies from a security perspective. In the future, networks must adhere to stricter criteria for authentication, encryption, access control, connectivity, and detection of harmful activities. Ensuring privacy and dependability necessitates the implementation of supplementary security protocols. The essay explores the primary concerns and challenges related to the security of the 6G network. This paper describes the improvements in security in communications from 1G through 6G. This paper divides security in the sixth generation into three layers: physical, connection, and service. Each layer-by-layer discusses the standard technologies and security issues for each technology proposed in each sixth-generation security layer. All proposed solutions for each of the three layers are discussed in Sixth Generation Security. It also reviews all proposed solutions for each layer, indicating the proposed solution and its limitations. © The Author(s) 2025.

Requirement elicitation (RE) is a cognitively challenging and time-consuming task in software development due to the numerous challenges associated with it including conflicting requirements, unspoken, or assumed requirements, difficulty meeting with relevant stakeholders, stakeholder resistance to change, and not enough time set aside for meetings with all stakeholders. The prime causes of software implementation failure have been identified as inadequacies in the treatment of requirements. Without collecting the quality requirement, cannot achieve the goal of a quality software product. Through identifying the success factors affecting requirement elicitation, the paths to the quality requirements can be identified. The success factors identify through this research are experience, business analyst skills, stakeholder relationship, organizational elicitation process. This study aims to identify the factors affecting requirement elicitation based on the data collected from business analysts and similar positions in the software industry through a survey, interviews, and analyzed data to provide the initial validation for the identified factors. Through the analysis, we identified the main factors affecting successful requirement elicitation with a perfect significance value of less than 0.05 for all factors. © 2022 IEEE.
