Combinatorial test suite generation is a critical aspect of software testing, particularly for systems with variable-strength interactions. Traditional optimization algorithms often struggle to efficiently generate minimal test suites while maintaining coverage. This research introduces the Fuzzy Adaptive Sine Cosine Algorithm (FASCA), a variant of the Sine Cosine Algorithm (SCA), tailored specifically for optimizing variable-strength combinatorial test suite generation. FASCA incorporates fuzzy adaptation mechanisms to dynamically balance exploration and exploitation, addressing the limitations of standard SCA in handling diverse interaction strengths. Experimental evaluations demonstrate that FASCA significantly reduces test suite size and execution time compared to the original SCA, offering a more efficient solution for combinatorial test optimization. These results highlight FASCA's potential as a robust tool for enhancing the efficiency of software testing processes. © 2024 IEEE.

The usage of online entertainment has increased dramatically after some time with the enhancement of the Internet and has turned into the most compelling systems administration stage in this century. Notwithstanding, the upgrade of a social network regularly makes adverse consequences on society that add to two or three terrible peculiarities, for example, online maltreatment, badgering cyberbullying, cybercrime, and internet savaging. Cyberbullying habitually prompts genuine mental and actual misery, especially for ladies and kids, and even occasionally make them to use self-destruction methods. Multiple number of episodes have as of late happened worldwide because of online badgering, like sharing private talks, bits of hearsay, and sexual comments. In this way, the distinguishing proof of harassing messages or messages via online entertainment has gained a significant measure for development for consideration with in scientists. This study aims at designing Map Reduce and federated learning-based asthma prediction model for adolescent to provide answers to the problems associated with the existing asthma prediction model for adolescent. This study leveraged on two diverse datasets: the Nigerian Hospital Asthma dataset and the National Survey of Children Health dataset for benchmarking purposes. Symmetrical uncertainty and normalization interaction were employed for feature selection. The model was trained using Federated Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology Enabler (FATE) and complemented with XGBoost model and one central server for federated algorithm averaging. The study was implemented with python programming language on Google Collaboratory environment. The results of the analysis showed considerable high accuracy of 0.98, precision (0.98%), recall (0.98%) and F1-socre (0.99%) for the asthmatic class and precision of 0.98%, recall of 0.98%, as well as F1-score of 0.99% for the non-asthmatic class. The implemented model was benchmark with the existing asthma prediction models in the literature. Simulated attack was also performed using implemented model with and without Map Reduce. This study concludes that the researchers' model has the potentials to outperform some of the existing machine learning models on asthma prediction in adolescent, thereby facilitating collaborative sharing of the model with other hospitals, protect the patient information from leakage, meeting the criteria of healthcare data protection regulation as well as beneficial for enhancing the security of the dataset. © 2024 IEEE.

The software engineering field has long focused on creating high-quality software despite limited *** defects before the testing stage of software development can enable quality assurance engineers to con-centrate on problematic modules rather than all the *** approach can enhance the quality of the final product while lowering development *** defective modules early on can allow for early corrections and ensure the timely delivery of a high-quality product that satisfies customers and instills greater confidence in the development *** process is known as software defect prediction,and it can improve end-product quality while reducing the cost of testing and *** study proposes a software defect prediction system that utilizes data fusion,feature selection,and ensemble machine learning fusion techniques.A novel filter-based metric selection technique is proposed in the framework to select the optimum features.A three-step nested approach is presented for predicting defective modules to achieve high *** the first step,three supervised machine learning techniques,including Decision Tree,Support Vector Machines,and Naïve Bayes,are used to detect faulty *** second step involves integrating the predictive accuracy of these classification techniques through three ensemble machine-learning methods:Bagging,Voting,and ***,in the third step,a fuzzy logic technique is employed to integrate the predictive accuracy of the ensemble machine learning *** experiments are performed on a fused software defect dataset to ensure that the developed fused ensemble model can perform effectively on diverse *** NASA datasets are integrated to create the fused dataset:MW1,PC1,PC3,PC4,and *** to the results,the proposed system exhibited superior performance to other advanced techniques for predicting software defects,achieving a remarkable accuracy rate of 92.08%.

In recent years, the rapid development of medical imaging technology has brought medical image analysis into the era of big data. CT imaging technology is one of the most common imaging methods for disease screening. This paper introduces medical image analysis of lung tumor diagnosis based on Generalized fuzzy c - means clustering algorithm was proposed. Brief introduce lung CT imaging to diagnose lung tumors requires a huge workload, which is often accompanied by long-term image reading and subjective evaluation. The experimental data comes from 15 patient samples which include two groups of samples are selected as test objects. The result shows the positive rate is high, resulting in misdiagnosis. In addition, great success of deep learning technology in the field of computer vision has made it possible to realize computer-aided diagnosis and screening of lung cancer. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The development of Decision Support Systems (DSS) for several companies operating in sectors such as tourism, healthcare, or others, presents significant challenges due to the nature of their multi-component architecture. A typical DSS consists of a data component, a model component incorporating machine learning and deep learning techniques, and a user interface component, each one requires diverse technologies. This complexity increases development time and effort, hindering the efficient design of DSS tailored to specific domains like tourism, where real-time decision-making is essential. One promising approach to overcome these challenges is the use of Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs). DSLs allow developers to model and generate code more efficiently by providing high-level abstractions suited to the domain. By leveraging DSLs, it is possible to simplify the design process and automate the generation of code or parts of the DSS, thereby reducing the overall complexity and time required for development. This paper proposes a metamodel for designing DSS, specifically for the Smart Tourism sector. The metamodel serves as a foundation for the creation of DSL. The goal is to provide a solution to facilitate the development of DSS for the demands of tourism. The paper outlines the key concepts, approach, and results, presenting the first element of the proposed DSL which is the metamodel capturing the essential components and relationships for DSS in Smart Tourism.

Load balancing methods in networks aim to distribute traffic evenly between nodes to prevent overloading of individual routes and improve overall network performance. For instance, machine learning-based routing allows you to analyze network behavior and predict optimal routes for data transmission, which is especially effective in complex dynamic networks. Another option is Pareto Optimization, which is used to consider multiple criteria, such as minimizing latency and energy consumption, simultaneously. The reliability of networks, especially wireless ones, is becoming an issue that requires solutions that can adapt to constantly changing conditions, creating stable communication systems. The article describes and tests a simulation model of a wireless network in which requests are sent from sources through towers to two different recipients simultaneously along several paths. The use of intermediate switching nodes allows using the AOMDV protocol to build different data transmission routes. The simulation results for various modifications of the model allow us to evaluate the advantages of using multipath routing.

This paper proposes an innovative decision support system based on sentiment analysis, specifically designed for the transportation sector. The system employs an aspect-based sentiment analysis approach, which accurately identifies and classifies customer opinions on key transportation service aspects such as comfort, driver behavior, punctuality, and vehicle condition. By integrating the BERT model, known for its advanced natural language processing capabilities, our system provides an in-depth and reliable analysis of customer sentiments. This analysis enables managers and decision-makers to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of the provided transportation services and to precisely target areas that require improvement. By offering actionable insights, our approach aims to enhance the user experience, improve service quality, and increase overall customer satisfaction.

In complex underwater environments, the image quality will be damaged due to light absorption, water quality and other factors, which brings certain challenges to the underwater object detection task. In order to improve the quality of under-water images, as well as the effectiveness of underwater detection tasks, we proposed a multi-reference mapping based image enhancement network (MRUIE). Previous image enhancement methods set only one reference image for the original image to be learned, ignoring the diversity of real underwater images. We optimized for the salient problems of underwater images by allowing the network to learn multiple reference images to capture the uncertainty of real underwater images. First, for the prominent problems of color distortion, contrast imbalance, and low brightness and darkness in underwater images, we designed three optimization paths to generate three reference images respectively. Then, the three reference images are fed into the feature extraction network to construct the statistical distribution of features and generate a series of potential enhancement distributions. Finally, based on the enhancement distributions, Monte Carlo likelihood estimation is used to determine the final enhancement results. Experiments conducted on two datasets demonstrate that our proposed image enhancement algorithm can effectively enhance the restoration of the original underwater images and provide significant performance improvement in underwater vision tasks.
