Searching for an Accurate Robot Calibration via Improved Levenberg–Marquardt and Radial Basis Function System

Robots are frequently utilized in manufacturing, aviation, and other industries, which enhance industrial production efficiency and quality. Specifically, robots perform high-precision tasks like welding, assembly and material handling, which reduce the intensity of manual labor in factories. In the logistics field, robots automatically sort and deliver goods, thereby speeding up supply chain operations. However, the prolonged operation of robots suffers from a decline in positioning accuracy, which makes them unable to satisfy task requirements. To address this challenging issue, this study designs an efficient calibration system integrating the Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm with fuzzy proportion integration differentiation controller and radial basis function neural network. The innovations of this method include: (1) integrating the fuzzy proportion integration differentiation controller into the updating rules of Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm, which further enhances the identification performance of kinematic errors;(2) adopting the radial basis function neural network to handle the robot dynamic errors, which addresses the complexity of dynamic error sources. Extensively experimental robot positioning points are gathered on an HSR JR680 robot, and then experimental validations are conducted by using the designed calibration system. The experiments indicate that the developed algorithm outperforms these existing advanced algorithms. © 2025 Wiley Periodicals LLC.

The Internet of Everything (IoE)-based smart services are becoming more prominent as a result of the growing demands placed on wireless networks. Despite 5G having the ability to serve a wide range of IoE-based applications, they are unable to fully satisfy the needs of the newest intelligent systems. Therefore, 6G is the next generation for the IoT, IoE, and cellular networks, which aim to significantly improve smart services quality, such as maximum throughput and reduced latency. The number of internet-connected smart devices grows exponentially on a daily basis, resulting in Big Data. Several other cloud-based implementations use data centers as centralized servers for handling data collected by edge devices. This model places ever-increasing demands on computational infrastructure and communication, with unavoidable consequences for Experience and Quality-of-Service. By attempting to obtain cloud abilities closer to end users, edge computing is a novel technology which enables the development for 6G by attempting to overcome typical cloud weaknesses such as high latency and a lack of security. The purpose of this paper is to discuss challenges and opportunities in edge computing technology in 6G IoE.

Comfortable temperature is an important requirement of building control. In order to optimize the intelligent building system, efficiently adjust and control the HVAC system, bring users more comfortable living space, and optimize the HVAC terminal equipment, it is necessary to communicate with the controller to obtain real-time data. However, the traditional way of using the controller is mostly adjusted on the human-machine interface (HMI), which cannot be tested uniformly for different controllers. At present, different controllers have different register addresses and the program is limited to obtaining the data of a specific controller. Different controllers cannot share a set of programs. In addition, modbus has a variety of communication modes. If the communication mode changes, the code needs to be changed and redeveloped. Most of the programming cannot make modbus universal. In order to solve the above problems, this paper focuses on several ways of communication and connection between LabVIEW and Modbus. It mainly proposes a configurable Modbus communication mechanism based on LabVIEW, the Modbus protocol is made universal. The program obtains the configuration parameters of different Modbus communication modes and the parts of different controllers through the configuration file, so as to realize the code scalability and compatibility. Therefore, the controller supporting Modbus protocol can communicate in real time as long as the configuration is modified. This method can be applied to the industrial controller supporting modbus and can effectively solve the problem of communication barriers between the configuration software LabVIEW and different controllers. © 2021 IEEE.

Cloud computing is a technology that encompasses several computers interconnected via the Internet or distributed computing over a network. A substantial database, services, applications, software, and resources are essential components of this technology. It may execute programs or applications on several interconnected computers simultaneously, enabling users to access apps and resources via a web browser or web service over the Internet at any time and from any location. Despite the numerous advantages of cloud computing, including substantial data storage, dynamic virtualization of resources, and cost efficiency, it concurrently presents several hazards associated with malicious code that impact cloud services. The Trojan horse is a very perilous form of malicious programming that may disrupt cloud computing services and compromise harmful services, applications, or virtual infrastructures within the cloud framework. The sophistication and cunning of contemporary Trojan horse attacks render them more challenging to identify than in the past. Currently, there is no definitive method to classify the Trojan horse in cloud computing. The main contribution of this research is a novel classification of Trojan horses inside a cloud computing environment by applying tests in a cloud control laboratory and using dynamic analysis to monitor the infection of each sample.

File labeling techniques have a long history in analyzing the anthological trends in computational *** situation becomes worse in the case of files downloaded into systems from the ***,most users either have to change file names manually or leave a meaningless name of the files,which increases the time to search required files and results in redundancy and duplications of user ***,no significant work is done on automated file labeling during the organization of heterogeneous user files.A few attempts have been made in topic ***,one major drawback of current topic modeling approaches is better *** rely on specific language types and domain similarity of the *** this research,machine learning approaches have been employed to analyze and extract the information from heterogeneous corpus.A different file labeling technique has also been used to get the meaningful and`cohesive topic of the *** results show that the proposed methodology can generate relevant and context-sensitive names for heterogeneous data files and provide additional insight into automated file labeling in operating systems.

Multivariate time series forecasting has extensive applications in urban computing, such as financial analysis, weather prediction, and traffic forecasting. Using graph structures to model the complex correlations among variables in time series, and leveraging graph neural networks and recurrent neural networks for temporal aggregation and spatial propagation stage, has shown promise. However, traditional methods' graph structure node learning and discrete neural architecture are not sensitive to issues such as sudden changes, time variance, and irregular sampling often found in real-world data. To address these challenges, we propose a method called Adaptive Graph structure Learning neural Rough Differential Equations (AGLRDE). Specifically, we combine dynamic and static graph structure learning to adaptively generate a more robust graph representation. Then we employ a spatio-temporal encoderdecoder based on Neural Rough Differential Equations (Neural RDE) to model spatio-temporal dependencies. Additionally, we introduce a path reconstruction loss to constrain the path generation stage. We conduct experiments on six benchmark datasets, demonstrating that our proposed method outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods. The results show that AGLRDE effectively handles aforementioned challenges, significantly improving the accuracy of multivariate time series forecasting. © 2015 IEEE.

The quality of the air around us is a major concern nowadays, a lot of health issues are associated with air pollution. This article presents an application of mobile and cloud technologies for real-time air quality monitoring. An Android mobile application was developed for monitoring the values of pollutants in the air from an air quality station. The station was designed to continuously acquire values from different sensors and to send them to databases. The mobile application provides real-time updates, notifications and historical values for the air parameters monitored.

Few-shot learning is a demanding and challenging problem in machine learning aimed at learning from only fewer labeled training examples. It has become an active area of research due to deep learning requiring huge amounts of labeled dataset, which is not easy practically. Learning from fewer examples is also an important attempt towards learning like humans. Few-shot learning has proven a very good promise in different areas of machine learning applications, particularly in image classification. As it is a recent technique, most researchers focus on understanding and solving the issues related to its concept by focusing only on common image datasets like Mini-ImageNet and Omniglot. Few-shot learning also opens an opportunity to address low resource languages like Amharic. Hence in the current study, it is used to address offline handwritten character recognition for Amharic language. Particularly, prototypical networks, the popular and simpler type of few-shot learning, is implemented as a baseline. Using the opportunities explored in the nature of Amharic alphabet having columnwise and rowwise characters’ similarities, a novel way of augmenting the training episodes is proposed. According to the study’s experimental result, it was observed that the proposed method outperformed the baseline method in 1-shot setting. This study has implemented few-shot learning for Amharic characters for the first time. More importantly, the findings of the study open new ways of examining the influence of training episodes in few-shot learning, which is one of the critical issues requiring further exploration. The datasets used for this study are collected from native Amharic language writers using an Android App developed as a part of this study. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
