Requirement elicitation (RE) is a cognitively challenging and time-consuming task in software development due to the numerous challenges associated with it including conflicting requirements, unspoken, or assumed requirements, difficulty meeting with relevant stakeholders, stakeholder resistance to change, and not enough time set aside for meetings with all stakeholders. The prime causes of software implementation failure have been identified as inadequacies in the treatment of requirements. Without collecting the quality requirement, cannot achieve the goal of a quality software product. Through identifying the success factors affecting requirement elicitation, the paths to the quality requirements can be identified. The success factors identify through this research are experience, business analyst skills, stakeholder relationship, organizational elicitation process. This study aims to identify the factors affecting requirement elicitation based on the data collected from business analysts and similar positions in the software industry through a survey, interviews, and analyzed data to provide the initial validation for the identified factors. Through the analysis, we identified the main factors affecting successful requirement elicitation with a perfect significance value of less than 0.05 for all factors.

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic revealed the criticality of timely intervention in a situation exacerbated by a shortage in medical staff and equipment. Pain-level screening is the initial step toward identifying the severity of patient conditions. Automatic recognition of state and feelings help in identifying patient symptoms to take immediate adequate action and providing a patient-centric medical plan tailored to a patient's state. In this paper, we propose a framework for pain-level detection for deployment in the United Arab Emirates and assess its performance using the most used approaches in the literature. Our results show that a deployment of a pain-level deep learning detection framework is promising in identifying the pain level accurately.

Enhanced Kalman with Adaptive Appearance Motion SORT for Grounded Generic Multiple Object Tracking

Despite recent progress, Multi-Object Tracking (MOT) continues to face significant challenges, particularly its dependence on prior knowledge and predefined categories, complicating the tracking of unfamiliar objects. Generic Multiple Object Tracking (GMOT) emerges as a promising solution, requiring less prior information. Nevertheless, existing GMOT methods, primarily designed as OneShot-GMOT, rely heavily on initial bounding boxes and often struggle with variations in viewpoint, lighting, occlusion, and scale. To overcome the limitations inherent in both MOT and GMOT when it comes to tracking objects with specific generic attributes, we introduce Grounded-GMOT, an innovative tracking paradigm that enables users to track multiple generic objects in videos through natural language descriptors. Our contributions begin with the introduction of the G2MOT dataset, which includes a collection of videos featuring a wide variety of generic objects, each accompanied by detailed textual descriptions of their attributes. Following this, we propose a novel tracking method, KAM-SORT, which not only effectively integrates visual appearance with motion cues but also enhances the Kalman filter. KAM-SORT proves particularly advantageous when dealing with objects of high visual similarity from the same generic category in GMOT scenarios. Through comprehensive experiments, we demonstrate that Grounded-GMOT outperforms existing OneShot-GMOT approaches. Additionally, our extensive comparisons between various trackers highlight KAM-SORT’s efficacy in GMOT, further establishing its significance in the field. Project page: https://***/G2MOT. A critical step in the creation of software is the elicitation of requirements. According to most of the research, nonfunctional requirements get less attention from nonfunctional requirements, also necessary for the creation of every new application. A poor choice of elicitation causes the system to malfunction. Without the use of an elicitation approach, the needs and requirements of users cannot be ascertained. Ensuring efficient communication between analysts and users during the elicitation process is the biggest challenge for analysts. This study’s major artifact is a proposed model that creates a conceptual model automatically from a series of agile requirements given as user stories. The accuracy, especially when user stories are succinct assertions that identify the issue to be handled, was one of our case study’s positive outcomes. The objective was to prove that artificial intelligence can be used to elicit software requirements for software systems, and the findings support this claim. An elicitation model for NFR in agile methodology is proposed by this work. The approach will help the software business identify and collect needs for all kinds of software. as well as directing both users and developers in the development of software. Due to the elicitations of both FRs and NFRs of the initial phase in agile projects, which receive less attention, this study decreased the time, effort, and risk.

Thanks to recent developments in explainable Deep Learning models, researchers have shown that these models can be incredibly successful and provide encouraging results. However, a lack of model interpretability can hinder the efficient implementation of Deep Learning models in real-world applications. This has encouraged researchers to develop and design a large number of algorithms to support transparency. Although studies have raised awareness of the importance of explainable artificial intelligence, the question of how to solve the needs of real users to understand artificial intelligence remains unanswered. In this paper, we provide an overview of the current state of the research field at Human-Centered Machine Learning and new methods for user-centric explanations for deep learning models. Furthermore, we outline future directions for interpretable machine learning and discuss the challenges facing this research field, as well as the importance and motivation behind developing user-centric explanations for Deep Learning models. © 2021 IEEE.

For centuries, the economy of Sri Lanka has been backed by the agricultural sector. Even though it has contributed to the development of the nation on a large scale, the economies and living standards of the farmers have not been improved much. Most of the farmers remain poor mainly due to not knowing the market demand and the low buying prices of the middleman. Meanwhile, the consumers in Sri Lanka are buying non-organic vegetables and fruits which are highly contaminated with dangerous chemicals which in turn has contributed to the rapidly increasing non-communicable disease rates in both consumers and farmers. The proposed system is an attempt to solve these problems faced by both farmers and consumers by reducing the farmers-consumer knowledge gap and providing consumers a trustworthy and personalized subscription for organic vegetables/fruits with a donation platform. © 2021 IEEE.

Artificial intelligence-driven Chatbots, especially large language models (LLMs) like GPT-4, represent significant progress in digital education. These models excel in mimicking human-like text and transforming learning and teaching methods. This study examines the development, application, and impact of LLMs in education. It highlights their role in automating instructional tasks and promoting personalized learning experiences. Despite integration concerns and ethical debates, LLMs showcase the potential of AI to improve educational practices. Our research concludes that LLMs offer transformative opportunities for education. However, their incorporation requires careful ethical considerations, data privacy measures, and a balance between human educators and AI technologies. The findings suggest strategies for integrating LLMs into educational frameworks to enhance learning outcomes while preserving educational integrity. © The Author(s) 2025.

Breast cancer(BC)is the most widespread tumor in females worldwide and is a severe public health *** is the leading reason of death affecting females between the ages of 20 to 59 around the *** detection and therapy can help women receive effective treatment and,as a result,decrease the rate of breast cancer *** cancer tumor develops when cells grow improperly and attack the healthy tissue in the human *** are classified as benign or malignant,and the absence of cancer in the breast is considered *** learning,machine learning,and transfer learning models are applied to detect and identify cancerous tissue like *** research assists in the identification and classification of *** implemented the pre-trained model AlexNet and proposed model Breast cancer identification and classification(BCIC),which are machine learning-based models,by evaluating them in the form of comparative *** used 3 datasets,A,B,and *** fuzzed these datasets and got 2 datasets,A2C and *** A2C is the fusion of A,B,and C with 2 classes categorized as benign and *** B3C is the fusion of datasets A,B,and C with 3 classes classified as benign,malignant,and *** used customized AlexNet according to our datasets and BCIC in our proposed *** achieved an accuracy of 86.5%on Dataset B3C and 76.8%on Dataset A2C by using AlexNet,and we achieved the optimum accuracy of 94.5%on Dataset B3C and 94.9%on Dataset A2C by using proposed model BCIC at 40 epochs with 0.00008 learning *** proposed fuzzed dataset model using transfer *** fuzzed three datasets to get more accurate results and the proposed model achieved the highest prediction accuracy using fuzzed dataset transfer learning technique.

This Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), facilitates the medical stop regarding real-time monitoring of patients, medical emergency management, remote surgery, patient information management, medical equipment, drug monitoring, etc. However, IoMT devices communicate with each other in an open environment that makes them vulnerable to a wide range of malicious threats from malicious entities. To protect the devices and their associated data, we designed a broadcast authentication scheme for IoMT devices using identity-based public key cryptography that exploits the lightweight features of the Hyper-Elliptic Curve (HEC). We then performed the security analysis based on the Random Oracle Model (ROM), in which we have proved that the proposed scheme is unforgeable under the hardiness of the hyperelliptic curve discrete logarithm problem. The proposed scheme is analyzed in terms of computational and communication overhead and the experimental results justify the superiority of the proposed work in comparison to the existing schemes. © 2024 IEEE.

Analyzing and evaluating students' progress in any learning environment is stressful and time consuming if done using traditional analysis methods. This is further exasperated by the increasing number of students due to the shift of focus toward integrating the Internet technologies in education and the focus of academic institutions on moving toward e-Learning, blended, or online learning models. As a result, the topic of student performance prediction has become a vibrant research area in recent years. To address this, machine learning and data mining techniques have emerged as a viable solution. To that end, this work proposes the use of deep learning techniques (CNN and RNN-LSTM) to predict the students' performance at the midpoint stage of the online course delivery using three distinct datasets collected from three different regions of the world. Experimental results show that deep learning models have promising performance as they outperform other optimized traditional ML models in two of the three considered datasets while also having comparable performance for the third dataset.
