Almost every day, every person encounters the dilemma of what to wear. The issue is not that the users lack access to a sufficient number of outfits to wear; rather, it is that they are unable to keep track of the clothing they keep donning and have not touched in a long time. Not only does a smart wardrobe assist the user in maintaining a record of their clothing, but it also provides recommendations for what to wear based on the user's calendar events. The system generates statistical reports that reflect the frequency of utilization of the clothing, enabling the user to determine which ones are suitable for donation or sale. Additionally, a mobile application enables users to manage their clothing from any location. In this study, a novel approach is introduced, the IoT Virtual Wardrobe (IoTVW), which is cross-validated against the conventional model Classical Controller-Assisted Wardrobe (CCW), with the assistance of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The proposed scheme is evaluated for its efficiency. The primary objective is to integrate a collection of technologies into a system that can be utilized to assist the user in the planning of their clothing. To accomplish this objective, it is imperative that we are capable of distinguishing between garments that are frequently worn and those that are seldom worn. It is necessary to organize our clothing into categories such as casual, formal, and function wear. The application will furnish statistics that illustrate the garments that are frequently worn and those that have not been handled in an extended period.

This research presents an advanced traffic filtering technique using a Support Vector Machine (SVM) model to enhance IoT network security, achieving 85% accuracy, with high precision (87%) and recall (96%) in identifying legitimate traffic. However, the model struggles with neutral traffic, highlighting the need for further refinement, and offers a scalable solution for real-time dynamic analysis, with future work focusing on improving neutral traffic classification and integrating additional features to enhance performance.

Multi-object tracking (MOT) in computer vision remains a significant challenge, requiring precise localization and continuous tracking of multiple objects in video sequences. The emergence of data sets that emphasize robust reidentification, such as DanceTrack, has highlighted the need for effective solutions. While memory-based approaches have shown promise, they often suffer from high computational complexity and memory usage due to storing feature at every single frame. In this paper, we propose a novel memory-based approach that selectively stores critical features based on object motion and overlapping awareness, aiming to enhance efficiency while minimizing redundancy. As a result, our method not only store longer temporal information with limited number of stored features in the memory, but also diversify states of a particular object to enhance the association performance. Our approach significantly improves over MOTRv2 in the DanceTrack test set, demonstrating a gain of 2.0% AssA score and 2.1% in IDF1 score.

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic revealed the criticality of timely intervention in a situation exacerbated by a shortage in medical staff and equipment. Pain-level screening is the initial step toward identifying the severity of patient conditions. Automatic recognition of state and feelings help in identifying patient symptoms to take immediate adequate action and providing a patient-centric medical plan tailored to a patient's state. In this paper, we propose a framework for pain-level detection for deployment in the United Arab Emirates and assess its performance using the most used approaches in the literature. A state on a tripartite quantum system HA ⊗ HB ⊗ HC forms a Markov chain, i.e., quantum conditional independence, if it can be reconstructed from its marginal on HA ⊗ HB by a quantum operation from HB to HB ⊗ HC via the famous Petz map: a quantum Markov chain ρABC satisfies ρABC = ρ1/2BC (ρ−B1/2ρABρ−B1/2 ⊗ idC)ρ1/2BC . In this paper, we study the robustness of the Petz map for different metrics, i.e., the closeness of marginals implies the closeness of the Petz map outcomes. The robustness results are dimension-independent for infidelity δ and trace distance ǫ. The applications of robustness results are • The sample complexity of quantum Markov chain tomography, i.e., how many copies of an unknown quantum Markov chain are necessary and sufficient to determine the state, is (Formula presented), and (Formula presented) • The sample complexity of quantum Markov Chain certification, i.e., to certify whether a tripartite state equals a fixed given quantum Markov Chain σABC or at least δ-far from σABC, is (Formula presented), and (Formula presented) • (Formula presented) copies to test whether ρABC is a quantum Markov Chain or ǫ-far ǫ2 from its Petz recovery state. With their remarkable strength-to-weight ratio and adaptable design features, polymeric composites are widely used in fields like aerospace, automotive, and marine engineering. However, the layered structure of these materials makes them prone to interlaminar shear stresses (ILSS), which can lead to premature failure. ILSS is a critical factor in assessing the structural integrity and effectiveness of polymeric composites, particularly in applications where delamination and shear-induced failures are concerns. This study investigates key variables influencing ILSS in polymeric composites, including the effects of nanoparticle reinforcement, fiber orientation, and fiber sequence. Additionally, it explores the impact of hand lay-up techniques. Employing response surface methodology and short-beam shear tests, along with other experimental and analytical methods, this work quantifies ILSS. Results indicate that incorporating nanofillers, optimizing fiber lay-up techniques, and carefully selecting fiber orientations can significantly enhance ILSS.

A model for evaluating the availability of a fault-tolerant cluster with a constraint on the maximum query service time is proposed. Node recovery in the cluster involves replacing the entire computational node with the latest backup results before the failure. information update after the backup is achieved through the replication of this information from the working nodes of the cluster. The purpose of the article is to assess the reliability of the cluster and its readiness to timely service requests critical to the waiting time. Restoring up-to-date data in a cluster node after previously entering the data saved during backup into it requires the use of resources of the node in which the data is being restored and the node containing up-to-date data. The specified pair of nodes is excluded from the request servicing process, which reduces the likelihood of timely maintenance. information recovery in case of failures of all nodes containing replicas of up-to-date data requires more time compared to replication from the memory of a functioning node.

In this paper, we propose an event retrieval support system that quickly finds videos in a large database based on user-entered content. The system addresses the challenges of providing fast and relevant results for a dataset of over 400 hours of videos and developing user-friendly tools. To achieve fast retrieval, we convert the videos into compact semantic features. This involves two steps: (1) Identifying keyframes that represent different content and (2) Extracting semantic features from these frames. We first use the TransNet model to find transition frames, which split the video into scenes with different content. Then we will extract the keyframes which are evenly distributed in these scenes. Finally, the CLIP model is used to extract features from these keyframes and connect them with text. This forms a compact and semantic feature database. When users search with text, we convert it into features and measure similarity with the database using cosine distance, then the most similar video is retrieved. In cases where CLIP model fails, we recommend leveraging news headlines and audio by applying Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) on videos to form a text database and comparing the entered text with this text database. Experimental results on a Vietnamese media news dataset demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of our method.

The article proposes models of the structural reliability of a multipath routing network with the possibility of its reconfiguration when switching path segments. The models are focused on optimizing the placement of segment switching nodes, aimed at achieving maximum network performance with the option of connecting request sources to the available communication paths with servers. The study considers the options for connecting each source of requests with one of the paths or with all paths for connecting to servers. The paper shows the existence of an optimal placement of path switching nodes, in which the maximum reliability of the system is achieved.
