Adopting distance learning with a high level of quality in universities and educational institutions is a real challenge. Therefore, several studies and organizations have provided different standards to evaluate the quality of long-distance and to measure the obstacles. This study examines the quality obstacles of the long-distance learning techniques applied at the faculty of information technology at the University of Benghazi, Libya. The British Quality Assurance Agency (BQAA) standards are utilized and presented as a questionnaire to the students at the faculty. The total participant number is 223 respondents. The study findings show that the students face severe challenges in all categories of the BQAA of technical, social, and organizational obstacles. The level of challenges is represented in the negativity of the response 69.1%, 60.1%, and 59.44% of the determined categories. © 2023 IEEE.

To prevent irreversible damage to one’s eyesight,ocular diseases(ODs)need to be recognized and treated *** fundus imaging(CFI)is a screening technology that is both effective and *** to CFIs,the early stages of the disease are characterized by a paucity of observable symptoms,which necessitates the prompt creation of automated and robust diagnostic *** traditional research focuses on image-level diagnostics that attend to the left and right eyes in isolation without making use of pertinent correlation data between the two sets of *** addition,they usually only target one or a few different kinds of eye diseases at the same *** this study,we design a patient-level multi-label OD(PLML_ODs)classification model that is based on a spatial correlation network(SCNet).This model takes into consideration the relevance of patient-level diagnosis combining bilateral eyes and multi-label ODs ***_ODs is made up of three parts:a backbone convolutional neural network(CNN)for feature extraction i.e.,DenseNet-169,a SCNet for feature correlation,and a classifier for the development of classification *** DenseNet-169 is responsible for retrieving two separate sets of attributes,one from each of the left and right *** then,the SCNet will record the correlations between the two feature sets on a pixel-by-pixel *** the attributes have been analyzed,they are integrated to provide a representation at the patient *** the whole process of ODs categorization,the patient-level representation will be *** efficacy of the PLML_ODs is examined using a soft margin loss on a dataset that is readily accessible to the public,and the results reveal that the classification performance is significantly improved when compared to several baseline approaches.

Utilizing artificial intelligence(AI)to protect smart coastal cities has become a novel vision for scientific and industrial *** of these AI technologies is using efficient and secure multi-environment Unmanned Vehicles(UVs)for anti-submarine *** study’s contribution is the early detection of a submarine assault employing hybrid environment UVs that are controlled using swarm optimization and secure the information in between UVs using a decentralized cybersecurity *** Dragonfly Algorithm is used for the orientation and clustering of the UVs in the optimization approach,and the Re-fragmentation strategy is used in the Network layer of the TCP/IP protocol as a cybersecurity *** research’s noteworthy findings demonstrate UVs’logistical capability to promptly detect the target and address the problem while securely keeping the drone’s geographical *** results suggest that detecting the submarine early increases the likelihood of averting a *** dragonfly strategy of sensing the position of the submersible and aggregating around it demonstrates the reliability of swarm intelligence in increasing access *** communication between Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)improves the level of secrecy necessary for the *** swarm navigation is based on a peer-to-peer system,which allows each UAV to access information from its ***,in turn,helps the UAVs to determine the best route to take and to avoid collisions with other *** dragonfly strategy also increases the speed of the mission by minimizing the time spent finding the target.

Bacterial strains in the same genus share highly similar morphology, gram-staining characteristics, colony sizes, and spatial arrangements. Therefore, identifying them by deep learning can be quite challenging. This study aimed to assess the classification of 7 species of bacteria from 2 genera of Bacillus and Vibrio by using 8 Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models. We implemented Python programming along with Keras API within the Jupyter Notebook. The models were constructed and evaluated under unbalanced and balanced datasets by augmentation (rotation, flip, etc.). Transfer learning with fine-tuning, and pre-processing of mixup and label smoothing were also applied to reduce overfitting and enhance generalization. Based on the experimental results on private dataset, the results of InceptionResNetV2 emerged as the top-performing model with a notable accuracy of 82.8%, 88.6% precision, 78.4% recall, and 78.0% F1-score when label smoothing was applied at 0.5 on balanced dataset. © 2024 IEEE.

Wireless Capsule Endoscopy (WCE) emerged as an innovative and patient-centric approach for non-invasive and painless examination of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. It serves as a pivotal tool in helping medical practitioners in the early detection of anomalies within the intricate domain of the human GI tract. The automated identification of aberrations assumes paramount significance, contributing not only to temporal efficiency but also to timely diagnosis. Within the realm of academic literature, a plethora of Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies have been proposed to effectuate the automatic classification, segmentation, and synthesis of anomalies inherent in WCE images. This scholarly endeavor undertakes a comprehensive and meticulous survey, elucidating the spectrum of anomaly classification, summarization, and detection techniques harnessed for Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD) in the context of WCE images. The survey begins by delineating the methodologies underpinning WCE image classification and video processing. Subsequently, an exhaustive evaluation of techniques for analyzing WCE images is furnished, accompanied by an in-depth exploration of pertinent surveys, in addition to a judicious assessment of their merits and demerits. Furthermore, this study undertakes a rigorous evaluation of prevailing datasets utilized to benchmark the efficacy of various WCE techniques. Even for children, e-learning is essential today. Future generations will need to learn how to code. Because codes are complex, teaching them can be difficult. In this research, we present a model for teaching children programming. This study is an attempt to prove that teaching students to write code in Arab schools is feasible. The paper offers several insights and suggestions that would improve the mechanism of teaching young children to create code segments. Additionally, it highlights the significance of utilizing HCI to promote online education for children. © 2022 IEEE.

the design decisions made in the architecture of a software system are essential to its maintainability, and thus its quality is of great importance. Architecture smells (ASs) can be used to identify any quality issues within the system. To further explore the relationships between ASs, stability, and reusability, Spearman correlation coefficients will be calculated. This paper seeks to examine the connection between architecture smells, software stability, and reusability. To do this, we utilized a dataset created by other researchers and conducted an empirical study of the associations between five types of architecture smells and software stability and reusability. This research is necessary as there is a lack of in-depth research on architecture smells and their relationship to software stability and reusability. We found a relationship between the presence of Feature Concentration in package and the stability and reusability of the package. Also, package's stability is affected by both Cyclic Dependency and Unstable Dependency. A slight positive correlation has been found between God Class and stability, as well as a very weak negative correlation between Unstable Dependency and reusability. Finally, we found a slight negative correlation between package stability and reusability. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper is presented implementation of a lightweight supervisory control and data acquisition system for remote test stations as a part of a larger test house in the automotive industry. It is necessary to allow remote set up and monitoring of the test stations, which means defining the structure of a system with numerous test stations as endpoints. The test stations are meant to be virtual machines but can be both virtual and physical machines. A communication protocol must be used that enables this within the organization's network, regardless of actual distance and location. The parameters of the test stations to be monitored can be defined according to the needs and purpose. Even when creating your own tool, this function is not unique, i.e. on one test station parameters of operating system resources such as memory usage can be monitored, while on another test station logged-in users or running programs, reported system errors and others must be monitored. Data storage is one of the mandatory functions of this system. This process allows viewing data throughout history and more detailed analysis of events. There are numerous benefits that can be drawn and used from the data stored in the database. It is necessary to pay attention to the data stored as well as the scope and retention throughout history. The correct and secure setup of a database is one of the prerequisites for any serious system that processes data. Appropriate views should be created for users involved in the data monitoring process using all the elements mentioned so far. Creating a visually acceptable and easy-To-use interface that serves the main purpose is the final presentation of the entire system to users. A complete system leads to higher productivity, profitability and better organization of the company. It also allows project managers to better plan the use and occupancy of test stations. Psychological disorders are considered chronic illnesses that affect a wide range of populations. Some studies in the United States indicate that one in every eight individuals is affected by a psychological disorder. Additionally, individuals with a psychological disorder often have an impact on the nature of the lives of those around them. It is beneficial to detect the illness in its early stages to increase the likelihood of recovery. In this research, thirteen classification algorithms are used. Each algorithm has an interesting approach. It can be used to analyze several datasets where three datasets specific to Psychiatric patients were selected. The datasets have been chosen from UCI Machine Learning Repository. The datasets were re-analyzed after only 50% of the characteristics were approved after being evaluated by the several feature selection techniques. The main objective of this research is to find the best classifier and feature selection strategy in analyzing datasets of Psychiatric patients. After conducting numerous comparisons, it became evident that, the best classifier for the Autism-Adult-Data dataset are Bagging and Random Forest. As for the best learning strategy, it was found to be Functions and Trees, the best feature selection was obtained using Symmetrical Uncourt Attribute Evaluation. Both IBK and KStar classifier proved to be the best classifier for the Parkinson's dataset, Lazy demonstrated to be the most effective learning strategy, Correlation Attribute Evaluation technique yielded the best feature selection. Logistic emerged as the best classifier for planning-relax dataset, the best learning strategy was Bayes, the best feature selection was found to be Symmetrical Uncert Feature Selection. © 2024 IEEE.
