This paper presents a new high resolution aerial images dataset in which moving objects are labelled manually. It aims to contribute to the evaluation of the moving object detection methods for moving cameras. The problem of recognizing moving objects from aerial images is one of the important issues in computer vision. The biggest problem in the images taken by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV) is that the background is constantly variable due to camera movement. There are various datasets to evaluate motion detection methods in the literature. The prepared dataset consists of challenging and high resolution images containing small targets compared to other datasets. The dataset consists of different images such as people walking in nature, people skiing, vehicles driving through the forest, towns and vehicles going on the highway. This study also represents a post-processing method that can be used after background modeling for moving object detection. Experimental studies show that proposed post-processing technique provides a significant increase in precision and F-score metrics. The results of different methods in the literature are compared in detailed for each sequence in the dataset. The dataset and source codes are available at: http://***/mribrahim/PESMOD © 2022 IEEE.

The rapid development and widespread adoption of Internet technology have significantly increased Internet traffic,highlighting the growing importance of network *** Detection Systems(IDS)are essential for safeguarding network *** address the low accuracy of existing intrusion detection models in identifying network attacks,this paper proposes an intrusion detection method based on the fusion of Spatial Attention mechanism and Residual Neural Network(SA-ResNet).Utilizing residual connections can effectively capture local features in the data;by introducing a spatial attention mechanism,the global dependency relationships of intrusion features can be extracted,enhancing the intrusion recognition model’s focus on the global features of intrusions,and effectively improving the accuracy of intrusion *** proposed model in this paper was experimentally verified on theNSL-KDD *** experimental results showthat the intrusion recognition accuracy of the intrusion detection method based on SA-ResNet has reached 99.86%,and its overall accuracy is 0.41% higher than that of traditional Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)models.

The chronic and incurable disease of diabetes that is not only marked with increasing prevalence but is also linked to other life-threatening diseases like cardiovascular diseases, tissue injuries and retinopathy. With this the early detection and diagnosis of the disease becomes essential. This paper, proposes a novel explainable predictive model for diabetes detection using Shapley additive explanations approach which will not just predict the disease but also highlight the most contributing features contributing to our result. Through the utilization of PIDD dataset, diabetes has been predicted by using three machine learning classifiers i.e. Random Forest, XGBoost and Support Vector Machine. The proposed explainable model outperforms the existing studies by giving an accuracy of 82%. The results were then interpreted using Shapley Additive Explanations (SHAP) which further explained that the most contributing features throughout the study in each model were ‘Glucose’, ‘BMI’ and ‘Age’ among others. This explanation is meant to aid the medical community in their diagnosis and effective recommendations to the patients. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

We present a third version of the PraK system designed around an effective text-image and image-image search model. The system integrates sub-image search options for localized context search for CLIP and image color/texture and interfaces tailored to specific task types. A user study shows the benefits of sub-image search in homogeneous video collections. Soil salinity is a serious land degradation issue in *** is a major threat to agriculture *** irrigation water is applied to leach down the salts from the root zone of the plants in the form of a Leaching fraction(LF)of irrigation *** the leaching process to be effective,the LF of irriga-tion water needs to be adjusted according to the environmental conditions and soil salinity level in the form of Evapotranspiration(ET)*** relationship between environmental conditions and ET rate is hard to be deﬁned by a linear relationship and data-driven Machine learning(ML)based decisions are required to determine the calibrated Evapotranspiration(ETc)***-assisted ETc is pro-posed to adjust the LF according to the ETc and soil salinity level.A regression model is proposed to determine the ETc rate according to the prevailing tempera-ture,humidity,and sunshine,which would be used to determine the smart LF according to the ETc and soil salinity *** proposed model is trained and tested against the Blaney Criddle method of Reference evapotranspiration(ETo)*** validation of the model from the test dataset reveals the accu-racy of the ML model in terms of Root mean squared errors(RMSE)are 0.41,Mean absolute errors(MAE)are 0.34,and Mean squared errors(MSE)are 0.28 mm *** applications of the proposed solution in a real-time environ-ment show that the LF by the proposed solution is more effective in reducing the soil salinity as compared to the traditional process of leaching.

Autonomous robots combine skills to form increasingly complex behaviors, called missions. While skills are often programmed at a relatively low abstraction level, their coordination is architecturally separated and often expressed in higher-level languages or frameworks. State machines have been the go-to language to model behavior for decades, but recently, behavior trees have gained attention among roboticists. Originally designed to model autonomous actors in computer games, behavior trees offer an extensible tree-based representation of missions and are claimed to support modular design and code reuse. Although several implementations of behavior trees are in use, little is known about their usage and scope in the real world. How do concepts offered by behavior trees relate to traditional languages, such as state machines? How are concepts in behavior trees and state machines used in actual applications? This paper is a study of the key language concepts in behavior trees as realized in domain-specific languages (DSLs), internal and external DSLs offered as libraries, and their use in open-source robotic applications supported by the Robot Operating System (ROS). We analyze behavior-tree DSLs and compare them to the standard language for behavior models in robotics: state machines. We identify DSLs for both behavior-modeling languages, and we analyze five in-depth. We mine open-source repositories for robotic applications that use the analyzed DSLs and analyze their usage. We identify similarities between behavior trees and state machines in terms of language design and the concepts offered to accommodate the needs of the robotics domain. We observed that the usage of behavior-tree DSLs in open-source projects is increasing rapidly. We observed similar usage patterns at model structure and at code reuse in the behavior-tree and state-machine models within the mined open-source projects. Considering the increasing and widespread use of chatbots, it is of great importance to provide methods and tools to address ethical concerns and to make users aware of various aspects of a chatbot, including non-functional features. The Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (GPT) is a state-of-the-art Natural Language Generation (NLG) model, enhanced by the latest version of GPT-4. This study evaluates the trustworthiness of the responses of three different chatbot models, BlenderBot with Hugging Face, ChatGPT-3.5 and ChatGPT-4, to 100 randomly selected medical questions. The accuracy and semantic similarity of the answers were measured by BLEU, ROUGE-1 and Cosine Similarity metrics, and response times were also recorded as an important performance factor. The results showed that GPT-4 exhibited superior performance, thus being able to produce more accurate and contextually reliable responses. However, the significantly longer response time of GPT-4 emerged as a disadvantage that may affect real-time utilisation. These findings provide an important reference for the effective use of GPT-4 in the context of health chatbots. The study contributes to the literature on improving the effectiveness of chatbots in healthcare by drawing attention to the importance of balancing speed, accuracy and trustworthiness, as well as the fact that the answers obtained are drawn with Application Programming Interface (API).

Supplier selection is a critical component of Supply Chain Management (SCM), as suppliers provide raw materials or services essential for supporting a company's operations. Traditional supplier selection methods often rely on subjective assessments to determine the weighting of criteria, which can lead to biases and suboptimal decision making. To address this issue, this study combines the Logarithmic Percentage Change of Weight (LOPCOW) method with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to enhance objectivity in the supplier selection process. The LOPCOW method is used to assign criterion weights objectively based on logarithmic percentage changes, which helps minimize subjectivity, These weights are then applied using the SAW method to evaluate and rank suppliers. The results of the study show that this combined approach is more reliable for selecting suppliers objectively and accurately. The study suggests integrating other Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methods to further strengthen the results while recommending the inclusion of real-time data analytics to improve the model's adaptability to dynamic market conditions. The LOPCOW-SAW approach can be applied across various industries for more effective and efficient SCM supplier selection. © 2024 IEEE.

Microorganisms may cause illness when they enter the body, multiply, and spread to other parts. The rapid spread of COVID-19 to neighboring countries is examined in this research. Anticipating a positive COVID-19 occurrence helps in determining risks and creating countermeasures. As a result, developing robust mathematical models with small error margins for predictions is crucial. Based on these findings, a combined method of evaluating confirmed cases of COVID-19 with universal immunization is recommended. First, the best hyperparameter values of the RBF kernel-based LSSVM (least square support vector machine) were determined using the most recent Evolutionary Mating Algorithm (EMA). After that, LSSVM will complete the task of prediction. This hybrid method has been utilized for time series forecasting in Malaysia since the country's immunization program against COVID-19 got underway. We evaluate our results next to those of well-known methodologies in nature-inspired metaheuristics. © 2023 IEEE.
