Web service(WS)presents a good solution to the interoperability of different types of systems that aims to reduce the overhead of high processing in a resource-limited *** the increasing demand for mobile WS(MWS),the WS discovery process has become a significant challenging point in the WS lifecycle that aims to identify the relevant MWSs that best match the service *** discovery process is a resource-consuming task that cannot be performed efficiently in a mobile computing environment due to the limitations of mobile ***,a cloud computing can provide rich computing resources for mobile environments given its unlimited and easily scalable *** paper proposes a semantic WS discovery and invocation framework in mobile environments based on cloud and a relationship-aware matchmaking *** discovery algorithm enriches MWS and user requests semantically with the functional and non-functional properties of Ontology Web Language for Services,such as Quality of Web Service,device context,and user *** WS repository is filtered based on logical reasoning and a parameter-based matching algorithm to minimize the matching space and improve runtime *** cosine similarity between the user request and services repository is then assessed to generate the most relevant *** relationships among concepts in the ontology are considered to improve the recall and precision *** the WS discovery process,users can invoke and test these services in a mobile environment through a dynamic user *** interface of the invocation process is changed according to the WS description *** application prototype is also developed to evaluate the framework based on a Cordova cross-mobile development framework.

Large Language Models (LLM) is a type of artificial neural network that excels at language-related tasks. The advantages and disadvantages of using LLM in software engineering are still being debated, but it is a tool that can be utilized in software engineering. This study aimed to analyze LLM studies in software engineering using bibliometric and content analysis. The study data were retrieved from Web of Science and Scopus. The data were analyzed using two popular bibliometric approaches: bibliometric and content analysis. VOS Viewer and Bibliometrix software were used to conduct the bibliometric analysis. The bibliometric analysis was performed using science mapping and performance analysis approaches. Various bibliometric data, including the most frequently referenced publications, journals, and nations, were evaluated and presented. Then, the synthetic knowledge method was utilized for content analysis. This study examined 235 papers, with 836 authors contributing. The publications were published in 123 different journals. The average number of citations per publication is 1.44. Most publications were published in Proceedings International Conference on Software engineering and ACM International Conference Proceeding Series, with China and the United States emerging as the leading countries. It was discovered that international collaboration on the issue was inadequate. The most often used keywords in the publications were "software design," "code (symbols)," and "code generation." Following the content analysis, three themes emerged: 1) Integration of LLM into software engineering education, 2) application of LLM in software engineering, and 3) potential and limitation of LLM in software engineering. This article presents the development of a tethered fixed-wing tail-sitter VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle system. The design focuses on improving energy efficiency by utilizing the wings to harness wind power, similar to a kite, while maintaining VTOL functionality. A distinguishing feature is the purpose-built autopilot system, with custom hardware and software components specifically engineered for this application. The study presents the system identification process for obtaining five MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) transfer functions that characterize the dynamics between roll-yaw commands and responses, including the tether angle feedback. To address the inherent coupling effects and uncertainties in the system, robust mixed sensitivity (H∞) MIMO controllers are developed. The controllers were validated through both simulations and experimental flights, demonstrating effective performance in handling cross-coupling effects and maintaining stability under various operating conditions. According to flight test findings, the system can precisely manage the tether angle while adjusting for ground effect disturbances. This allows for accurate tethered navigation, a stable attitude, and the maintenance of an adequate yaw heading.

Radio-Frequency IDentification (RFID) technologies automate the identification of objects and persons, having several applications in retail, manufacturing, and intralogistics sectors. Several works explore the application of RFID systems in robotics and intralogistics, focusing on locating robots, tags, and inventory management. This paper addresses the challenge of intralogistics cargo trolleys communicating their characteristics to an autonomous mobile robot through an RFID system. The robot must know the trolley's relative pose to avoid collisions with the surroundings. As a result, the passive tag on the cargo communicates information to the robot, including the base footprint of the trolley. The proposed RFID system includes the development of a controller board to interact with the frontend integrated circuit of an external antenna onboard the industrial mobile robot. Experimental results assess the system's readability distance in two distinct environments and with two different antenna modules. All the code and documentation are available in a public repository. © 2025 IEEE.

The article considers the problem of designing a synthesis method for Coarse-Grained Reconfigurable Array (CGRA) architectures. The author observes several general problems of such architecture and demonstrates how they can be solved using the NITTA project example. NITTA - the CAD for generating and programming CGRA processors for cyclic execution of control or signal/data processing algorithms. Target system work principles from hardware, algorithm, and transport points of view provided. The principles of building a target system imitation model and synthesis method based on interaction with that model in dialog form are described. All ideas were demonstrated on the simple algorithm example. © 2021 IEEE.

Effects of substitute allowance on match activity characteristics in Japanese professional football across 2019, 2020, and 2021 seasons

This study aimed to examine the effects of substitute player allowance per match on running performance in Japanese professional football over three consecutive seasons with different numbers of maximum substitutes. Match running performance was obtained from all outfield players in the official matches of the 1st Division of the Japan Professional Football League over three seasons (2019/2020/2021;22291 player files) by a 4th generation TRACAB® system which provided the total distance covered (TD) and the number of sprinting runs (SP;≥24.0 km/h for≥1.0 s). The players were divided according to play time: full match (STA), replaced during match (REP), and substitutes during match (SUB). The number of SUBs increased significantly from 2019 to 2021 (p < 0.05). SUB had a significantly higher average speed than STA and REP. The analysis of covariance with the number of recovery days, ambient temperature, and relative humidity as covariates revealed that the TD and SP significantly differed based on the number of SUBs (p < 0.05). Stepwise regression analysis showed that the number of SUBs significantly contributed to the TD and SP. These results suggest that the new law, which increased the maximum SUB allowance from three to five, improved the match running performance in Japanese professional football. © 2023 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Neuroimaging has emerged over the last few decades as a crucial tool in diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Mild cognitive impairment(MCI)is a condition that falls between the spectrum of normal cognitive function and ***,previous studies have mainly used handcrafted features to classify MCI,AD,and normal control(NC)*** paper focuses on using gray matter(GM)scans obtained through magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)for the diagnosis of individuals with MCI,AD,and *** improve classification performance,we developed two transfer learning strategies with data augmentation(i.e.,shear range,rotation,zoom range,channel shift).The first approach is a deep Siamese network(DSN),and the second approach involves using a cross-domain strategy with customized *** performed experiments on the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative(ADNI)dataset to evaluate the performance of our proposed *** experimental results demonstrate superior performance in classifying the three binary classification tasks:NC ***,NC ***,and MCI ***,we achieved a classification accuracy of 97.68%,94.25%,and 92.18%for the three cases,*** study proposes two transfer learning strategies with data augmentation to accurately diagnose MCI,AD,and normal control individuals using GM *** findings provide promising results for future research and clinical applications in the early detection and diagnosis of AD.

Data poisoning attacks, where adversaries manipulate training data to degrade model performance, are an emerging threat as machine learning becomes widely deployed in sensitive applications. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of data poisoning including attack techniques, adversary incentives, impacts on security and reliability, detection methods, defenses, and key research gaps. We examine label flipping, instance injection, backdoors, and other attack categories that enable malicious outcomes ranging from IP theft to accidents in autonomous systems. Promising detection approaches include statistical tests, robust learning, and forensics. However, significant challenges remain in translating academic defenses like adversarial training and sanitization into practical tools ready for operational use. With safety and trustworthiness at stake, more research on benchmarking evaluations, adaptive attacks, fundamental tradeoffs, and real-world deployment of defenses is urgently needed. Understanding vulnerabilities and developing resilient machine learning pipelines will only grow in importance as data integrity is fundamental to developing safe artificial intelligence. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2023.

Rising industrial complexity demands efficient mobile robots to drive automation and productivity. Effective navigation relies on perception, localization, mapping, path planning, and motion control, with path planning being key. The Time Enhanced A * (TEA *) algorithm extends A * by adding time as a dimension to resolve temporal conflicts in multi-robot coordination. However, inconsistencies in edge lengths within the graph can hinder optimal path calculation. To address this, a Graph Decomposition submodule was developed to standardize edge lengths and temporal costs. Integrated into a ROS-based fleet coordination system, this approach significantly reduces execution time and improves coordination capacity.
